beautiful Sunday Sunday what am I talking about Sunday Thursday I can do my leg like this Thursday morning see look at how you sit like that man that is just so uncomfortable I’ll tell you what you’d be surprised you like it looks like I have you know pretty good flexibility my God my hips might be the worst hips this is uncomfortable like how is it uncomfortable May crossing your legs like that that’s uncomfortable it’s not uncomfortable for me I get I get restless legs you’re a little guy so if I if I if I if I sit here my legs will start tapping and stuff like I just so I have to do something with my legs yeah I used to I I move a lot too I know you do it’s kind of distracting if you cross your legs you wouldn’t have that problem anyway how are we all doing today it’s good to see you Los is in the chat BC’s in the chat Hello’s in the chat appreciate you guys all joining us this morning uh we got a lot to talk about because a lot of stuff has happened in the last couple days uh and you know I I sat here at the beginning of the week thinking you know I’m excited to get to Thursday because I know EJ is just chomping at the bit to get on the outside shots and talk about the possibility of his favorite player in the NBA joining his favorite team in the NBA LeBron to the Suns would be something and I I want to hear what is has been your take on all of this let’s start off with let’s just start small bronnie saying that he’s not working out for any teams except the Lakers and the Suns I have what do you take from that I have no problem what he said I was talking about that on my radio show yesterday Ser XM NBA Radio uh I was saying basically this guy knows that he’s not going to be a first round pick probably he knows it maybe no he’s not maybe well if if rumors have it with some but I’m saying you he know he knows that it’s a long shot based on everything that’s going on around him right not playing last year and and where he was ranked and all of that I know he went from like top 100 to 54 in the pre-draft Camp second best shooter in the camp Camp you know so he athleticism is off the charts so he showed a lot I saw the kid in high school I think the kid has a future uh people just so silly what this kid went through is catastrophic man yeah I mean okay so he’s supposedly show up after two months and play lights out at USC come on this just so silly this robotic mindset of people but I have no issue with him saying that because when I got drafted I was drafted the 29th pick in the NBA today’s NBA be the first round mhm but back then it was six pick of the second round okay only 23 teams and as it got near the end of the first round because I was projected to go like late first round early second round as it got late I knew that the teams at the back end of the draft were already stacked those are the best teams and I was like okay I don’t I don’t want to go to Philly I mean I don’t you know they Dr J Bobby Jones I’m like I’m not gonna play and so I’m started looking at these teams but when it got to Boston I really wanted to go there I like I could play in that system like and they even admitted after years and years after they made those pick they they admit that they made a mistake and not drafting me that’s all I needed to hear uh but I was being strategic in my mind about where I wanted to go so bronnie is like saying look I’m already you know going to be a billionaire from from lineage okay let’s just put it where it is let’s be honest he’s going to be a billionaire yeah already okay uh and so if that’s the case then I’m going to really like strategically set myself up to go to the right place because I’m not hungry for every team after me and all of that you know it’s only a couple of teams out there that say they’re interested in me that’s where I want to go and I have no issue with it man some people are getting turned off by it but I I’m not he’s got power welcome to the world of power people all of a sudden when somebody uses power it’s a problem when this country is made up of nepotism and people using their power to get what they want and all of a sudden when a guy does it you don’t like it really stop stop he’s dirty rich already he can do what he wants to do he can okay so if that’s what he wants to do only work out for two teams then so be it I uh I listen I I’ve watched bronnie several times this year um I’ve always thought that he could play in the NBA I didn’t I never question that it’s just you know what is his ceiling and what is his floor I think when you watch and break down Bron’s game there’s several things that stand out first when when USC ran sets that were Pro style sets Princeton uh like the like the Princeton set that that a lot of teams like to use um you could see his comfortability in those sets because they ran those same sets in his Au club and also at Sierra Canyon um it’s something that you could tell he’s familiar with he feels comfortable with uh there was a lot of Helter Skelter in USC’s system this year it a lot of it just didn’t it didn’t make a lot of sense um so when things kind of got out of whack he didn’t thrive in that in that scenario uh there was also times listen man he’s playing behind a fifth year senior in Boogie Ellis who is a high volume shooter he was their their top scorer last year um so it was hard for bronnie to get minutes especially after taking a two-month Hiatus uh to try and get healthy before coming back to the court and trying to get up to speed and and find his Niche so it was a tough goal for him this year it wasn’t ideal but I do think athletically he can he can compete in the NBA I do think that there is some Talent there uh whether that Talent will mean that he ends up being a steel at 22 or in the second round um remains to be seen I do think that he should have gone back to school this year but I guarantee you that he and LeBron had these conversations and they talked about what the future lies and I’m sure LeBron was like listen you know I would love to be there for more than just one season to to watch you develop help make sure that you’re getting everything you need in the NBA um and really listen as a father to try and you know Shield you as much as possible from inevitably what’s going to come your way uh after I leave and I I think as a father I I have no fault with that now Bron’s got a lot of things that he’s got to prove and he’s got a lot of pressure on him no matter where he goes I think going to the sons would be ideal for him because it’s not La so he’s not having to live and try to make up his dad’s shadow um and he’s also getting to do it in a city that’s not as as prolific as LA and so I think coming to Phoenix would be ideal for him so it’s just it’s just a lot now obviously drafting bronny at 22 is a huge risk because the Suns have a lot of needs and they don’t really have the need to develop a player at this moment but if that means that you find your way to land LeBron James you do it right of course you do it of course tell them because there’s a lot of people out there that are already saying that they will not watch another Suns game if LeBron James comes to the Suns by bye bye-bye don’t let the door hit you on the way out don’t nobody care about your feelings or what you want seriously give a rat you know what about what you think or what you want the dude is still one of the best players in the NBA if you personally don’t like a person or envious of somebody then that’s your problem but to to make a statement like that knowing that this dude is one of the best is one of the best players still in the NBA arguably the greatest player ever and you don’t want him here it says a lot about your character it says a lot about your enviousness and your feelings toward that he’s a basketball player what what you care about him off the court or what his views are whatever that is something different you know stop mixing the two up please stop mixing it up it’s about basketball right now it’s not about the other stuff all right so every team in the fre league is going to try to sign him every team trust me if they could get him CU they going to get him cheap all right so if he decides to leave which I find it hard to believe that he’ll walk away from 50 million but he’s do is anybody that can do it it’s him because you know bottom line is the money that he already has he’s never going to be able to spend it anyway all right so that’s that’s why people kind of think that maybe he might do it MH but for you people that you know always want to have it perfect your way I don’t want him I I don’t like him who cares what you like judge the guy by his job on the basketball court and stop getting into other people’s the way they are or how they carry themselves all I know is in this dude’s career has he ever gotten in trouble no have you ever heard anything have you even heard him getting a freaking parking ticket no like that’s the problem with people so I’m telling you that’s that’s this the problem with people in this world is that first of all there’s only one perfect man in my belief that’s it okay all right so me knowing that all right I know that it’s something wrong with everybody and these people want to nitpick on stuff man that’s just ridiculous like judge the guy based on what you see in front of you and what you have seen is pristine you’ve seen a guy that takes care of his body you’ve seen a guy that loves his craft you’ve seen a guy that’s still married to his high school sweetheart you see a guy that’s a ultimate family man you see all those things so what are you finding off center they just don’t believe it sure sure and they’re looking you know why because when they look in the mirror they see imperfection h i I don’t know about that yeah they see imperfection yeah they do because if you got time to worry about another man or another woman and and and try to nitpick on them and dissect them it’s because you want to pull them down to where you feel I truly believe that okay yeah truly believe it man yeah I mean I I get a lot of the stuff that like you know I get a lot of the comments like L cry baby um you know that that’s the biggest one that I keep seeing over and over again I’m like okay so he windes on the court you know how many other players do whine on the court everybody get fou more than anybody in leag okay um I mean there’s a there’s a lot of reasons to enjoy or to to want LeBron James here and and he’s already been you know a pretty you know not he’s he’s been a Hot Topic obviously and like there’s a lot of people that have some feelings about LeBron James I don’t I I agree with you like I don’t understand why you would not take you know to meil to me the the second hit you on the way out the second greatest player of all time um at the at a vet minimum I just I don’t I wouldn’t I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to take that so uh whether it happens or not hey it it is what it is we we’ll figure it out we’ll see if it happens um but it’s fun to talk about we have nothing else to talk about outside of the playoffs and this is intriguing because he is a good fit for what they’re doing now again we’re not just talking about bronnie there’s other pieces to this puzzle that are starting to come together and one of them was David fizdale coming back to the Suns even though the sons had offered him after after Frank Boggle and the whole staff got fired they the sons offered him a front office position which he turned down then they turned around and hired him to be the top assistant for Mike buen holer LeBron has a very very very good relationship with David fizdale they’re damn near likee family uh according to oh who was it that said uh that LeBron actually got um Fizz uh a deal with Samsung maybe it was espo yesterday uh a deal with Samsung as a gift so you know he got him paid on the side like again they’re they’re really really close and he’s been close to bronny he’s been to his games there’s a lot of things so there’s a lot of pieces of this puzzle that are looking like it’s not out of the realm of possibility and I think people are just dismissing it you know a lot of people just want to be like oh well you’re not you’re not serious you guys can’t be seriously falling for this whatever it’s like we’re not falling for anything I’m just saying you to you there is a possibility of this happening and the reason it’s a possibility is cu LeBron can up and say I’m coming that’s why it’s a possibility like like do I happen to think it will happen probably not but he can wake up and say I’m coming yeah I’m coming to Phoenix or I’m going to Philly or I’m going whatever like he’s a free agent so it’s up to him and how he thinks and what he wants to leave behind in regards to money so it’s up to him yeah it’s completely up to him so uh better have your nothing to talk about question mark start analyzing games oh we’re going to get to that in a second so just chill chill we got a lot of stuff going on so people yeah there’s a there’s a lot of lot come in my house tell me how to cook dinner oh man we’re off to a to a hot one today you might need to chill out you a hot dog well I’ll give you a steak I’ll give you some corn flakes I don’t care you in my house we got we got a lot of stuff going on uh but the gold people are ogs uh can mellow you out and some some of us need some ogs today some indicas some Tas uh some rsos Hey listen folks we’re talking about basketball we’re talking about LeBron James going to the Suns it doesn’t have to get that serious it doesn’t have to get that toxic it’s all fun it’s all this is about so let’s just chill out maybe take an edible and uh and be cool all right Jes seus there’s no reason to to to call people names like there’s just no reason season for right like just chill out say he said EJ Cabrini Green if you ever watch Good Times you know the show okay so I grew up in a crazy environment all right I was in five gangs didn’t even know it but never was in a gang all right but I had to survive every day when I tell you survive every day shot at robbed at gunpoint accosted by gangs I had to all right so yeah I have an edge to me but it’s a edge of proactiveness meaning I’m extremely proactive and if you want to bring that Chicago out of me then you say something like that then you’re going to get pig that was my nickname in Chicago okay wasn’t Eddie you’re G to get that all right not personal but if you want pig Bring It On Jes Zeus all right Jes Zeus uh all right your time to shine is is now over we got to move on so we appreciate y’all uh for the comments and the hilarity it’s uh it’s been been uh it’s been something when it comes to LeBron uh as I said the clues are everywhere there’s a lot of things going on in terms of LeBron possibly coming to the valley uh more importantly I know this seems a little ridiculous to say out loud and but we’re going to his fit with the Suns as they stand right now would be say it again his fit with the Suns as they stand right now ridiculous stop he’s are in my opinion I don’t anoint anybody the greatest ever while they’re still playing but when he does retire in my opinion he’s the greatest ever so if that’s the case please fit he fits everywhere like when you have a great player you get him if you can get him and you make it work like you always like in the draft you want to get the best possible player some teams over the years have tried to go for fit and it cost them example Portland they had Clyde Drexler so they didn’t draft Michael Jordan you gonna tell me that Michael Jordan and Clyde Drexler could not have played together yes they could have yes they could have I mean look at us that is the best that is the worst fit Carmelo Anthony Dwayne Wade going to Detroit right and they take take who Darko how did that work out like so you always go for the best player if this somebody that’s over the charts and you try to make it work and figure it out that fit stuff yeah yeah we need this the one thing the Suns do need and I would admit it they got to get a point guard they got to get somebody that can push the ball take the pressure off our big three get the ball across Court give these guys 20 seconds on the shot clock and let them go to work yes yes I’m totally on board with that one Mike buos has gone public and said it as well yeah well come on man you talking about LeBron freaking James really if you have a chance to get him you go for him yeah figure it out later and it’s not like we’re talking about like some guy that can only score right we’re talking about one of the the better facilitators uh in in in in the history of the game right he’s he’s one of the best allaround players ever so um so it’s I I I do like I I like the fit obviously it makes too much sense for what the suns are trying to do and so you know we’ll see if it it ends up working out but we are going to get to a bunch of other things as well there’s a lot of stuff uh talking you know in basketball we got the Mavs and the Timberwolves um playing a very interesting game five tonight in Minnesota and 154 teams have tried 154 teams have failed in trying to come back from a three-oh deficit but it only takes one and in the history of the game there’s a there there’s a there’s a really weird thing going on with Minnesota they just seem like they could be that team that finds a way to win four in a row after being down three 0 they there’s a little bit of um you know kind of just naivity about them they just are just going out there and playing and the other night they played very very well and if Carl Anthony towns he’s been the key to this I feel like if he plays at a high level Minnesota’s very very very hard to beat but he hadn’t played very well up until game four how how much should Dallas be concerned and how important do you think it is that they wrap it up tonight if they want to think historically then they shouldn’t be concerned right cu no ever come back from 3 but that’s not the case here uh last year uh you remember Miami went down what uh was it Boston went down is that I’m getting all over the place yeah Boston was down three and they came back game seven yeah they lost almost did it and lost on their home floor yeah so we know it’s hard to beat a team two times in a row in the playoffs letting on four times I get get it but here’s where it’s interesting because Minnesota had initially home court advantage lost the first two at home now they got to go to Dallas and get two they got two of the next three on their floor they got two of the next three on their floor they were 30 and 11 during the regular season yeah in the playoffs they struggled uh at home but still we know that they’ve had success at home so the way that they looking at it right now it’s like hey guys we’re gonna go out and get this one and we got to go back to Dallas and win a game and if we win that game we’re winning game seven Dallas is going to be saying if we do lose this game tonight we got to go get game six or we’re in trouble like it’s set up perfectly for it to happen this year and I think you know if Lively is not healthy for Dallas I think that’s a problem uh and also I think if Dallas loses tonight that pressure is going to be on them in game six you know and so it it’s it’s going to be interesting tonight’s game is going to be really interesting Minnesota just got to find a way to jump on a Merl man they cannot allow Dallas to hang around I’ve said it time and time again if you allow Dallas to hang around in the last three minutes of a game it’s over they’re going to beat you y Luca and Kyrie are going to beat you and I think I think that’s that’s been their issue in this series I think what eight points separate these two teams in this series so far that’s how close it’s been so that is the issue they haven’t had a chance to close him out and you’re right car anthy towns he’s got to stay out of foul trouble he he has some of the silliest fouls you ever want to commit when you’re a star and you know you’re going to play 30 plus minutes you have to give up a bucket in order to not get in foul trouble early in the game yeah early in the game save those fils for later like my mindset when I started is like I’m not picking up a a early foul in the first within the first six minutes of a game not doing it like I’m I’ve done it I’m just saying but I I was cognizant of not doing it because I I knew that I had to be on the floor and Cy towns I don’t think he thinks that way I just think he thinks in the moment man and just all of a sudden fouls people it’s just one of the weirdest things I’ve seen from a veteran a guy that’s an all League performer Allstar a guy that’s highly thought of in this league to be susceptible to that all the time but yeah he’s got to stay out of foul trouble tonight yeah oh I I’m definitely interested to see if L is going to play tonight he’s been you know listen he’s been a neutralizer of sorts for goar and um and also the verticality at The Rim uh between him and Gafford have have been tremendous and a big difference maker Jones J yeah and Derrick Jones Jr man he has been balling out he’s been crazy Ted offensive says it uh he’s been such a differen maker never thought he’d be the exactor but here he is also shout out to Buck dog great to have you back in the chat man it’s been a while miss you around these parts man so good to see you uh but yeah and buck dog says you need to frustrate Luca get him barking at the refs instead of flirting with them and I don’t know the more frustrated he gets the the better he plays yeah he just he does that on purpose because he wants to self motivate himself and think everybody’s against him and be mad and then he goes nuts so yeah blae blaze in the chat saying Minnesota finally started to hedge the screens on D instead of getting killed in the drop they got to keep that up yeah like but they got to go back to the drop if lively place yes like you all got to understand man if if they don’t do that drop coverage which I’m not a huge fan of either but how many lobs have Dallas gotten like so that’s what they’re trying to do and luuka and Kyrie are willing passers so you almost have to drop coverage man cuz Lively and Derek Jones Junior and Gafford you you can’t allow them to jump because once they jump they out jump everybody yeah so I mean you almost have to do it and just say luuka go ahead and score 50 but we’re not going to let these other guys add to it you know and I think that should be maybe the mentality that Chris Finch needs to go with uh the rest of this series it was kind of like uh you know what they used to I mean a lot of star players have gotten that that from teams right they they’ll let you get yours but they try to shut down everybody else um but it’s easier said than done with this Dallas team who has Kyrie Irving on it uh who’s also been playing fantastic the other night listen the other night the biggest difference was is that cat and C uh cat and ant outscored um easily they outscored uh Kyrie and Luca and typically if Kyrie and Luca are playing anywhere close to what those two are playing they’re going to win the game and so I think I think the mass closed it out tonight but I don’t feel super confident in that I did say Mavs I did say Mavs in five so if they win tonight they make me look like a genius um but I more importantly I I’m excited for the NBA Finals uh the last couple years I don’t know if I’ve really gotten too excited about the NBA Finals it was just kind of like H you know I kind of felt like Denver was going to walk all over Miami um and then the year before that uh the Celtics were playing The Warriors that was a good series and I thought the Celtics had a chance to win that series but it was the Warriors and you could just see that Championship DNA kind of come out at the end and and take over and he kind of felt like it was getting away from the Celtics this year though the Celtics uh they’ve only lost twice in the entire playoffs they’re 14 or yeah 12- two as they move into the NBA Finals uh they win the other night against the Pacers uh Jaylen Brown gets the MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals which I thought was deserved uh he hit the game-winning basically the biggest shot of the series in the game one he had 40 40 Burger to followed up in game two um I think he’s been fantastic but that doesn’t mean that there’s people just create drama out of nowhere and we had a little bit of that courtesy of the people out there on the East Coast by the name of ESPN when jayen Brown wins that award in the moment that it happens the the the rest of the team just goes crazy and you were you were talking about it in our meeting earlier this morning they all were so genuinely look at them they were all so genuinely excited for him and you what you did not seem to think that it was mirrored in Jason Tatum I think Jason was just shock I think he played well down the stretch he led them in rebounding it was something that you wouldn’t expect him to do you think that a big man would take care of that but I think Jason tat was shocked I think if you heard that and you didn’t get a chance to see what they were talking about you would think that Jason Tatum wasn’t even on the stage maybe he was off the stage uh during the the Trophy presentation or maybe he had his arms crossed and he had a pouty face uh but no this is what he looked like there he is hand on on Jaylen Brown’s head everybody celebrating big team Victory everybody’s excited for Jaylen Brown for winning uh Finals MVP uh what am I missing here EJ you’re not missing anything uh Mike Greenberg obviously does a tremendous his job uh I really love him I I hate that Mike and Mike broke up but uh I don’t know where he was going with this the only thing I can surmise from it is that that’s what he would have done if he was in that position he would have been envious he would have been upset he would have been jealous because what I got from that was Jason Tatum probably wasn’t 100% ecstatic excuse me probably well why should he be he’s a competitor it’s two ways okay like you you got two agendas your first agenda is to win okay and be a good teammate your second agender is to prove your individual selfworth all right so that’s just the way it is so deep inside was Jason I think the vote was five to four so deep inside was Jason probably like a little perturbed that they didn’t vote for him maybe but that doesn’t mean he was perturbed that his teammate got it yeah that’s the part people Miss let me say it again he might have been perturbed that they didn’t vote for him but not that his teammate got it and for them to break that down and and and and hope that that was the case was embarrassing because I didn’t see that and trust me I was watching when he got it that whole celebration cuz I I wanted to see if Tatum would react and he did not he was extremely happy for him he was smiling he was happy and that was that’s Jason Tatum Jason Tatum’s not a jump up and down guy yeah no he’s never been that he’s a low-key dude so to for them to go there and try to play that game that’s because they would have done it like that’s because Mike Greenberg if somebody came on this show and and started you know getting more attention than him he would do that if they got an Emmy and he didn’t prod for his own show that’s what you would do see just put it where it is that that’s what you would do you know so you figure that Jason did the same thing because that’s your mindset well I uh I didn’t see I didn’t even know that this was an issue until they brought it up today uh there was also another issue today and I I don’t know if you heard this Eddie but basically uh and we don’t have the clip but Stephen A Smith on his Morning Show said that kawh Leonard is one of the worst superstars of all time if not the worst uh I don’t even know how to compute that I don’t I I just don’t know how to compute that I think we look at Superstars as if they all have to have some some mold that they all have to follow exactly to a te and kawh Leonard is as far from that mold as possible um but that does not mean that he’s not a quality Superstar like that does not mean he’s not a good teammate that doesn’t mean that he’s not a phenomenal player like all these things these these hot talking points and I think this is where some people lose a little bit of faith and a little bit of Interest in the media because they feel like um these are false created narratives out of nowhere um just try and push an agenda of some sort and I don’t know what that agenda would be but it’s just it’s it’s a lot to take in on a day-to-day basis and a lot of people decide not to watch that kind of stuff let me break down to you what Stephen A was saying okay when he said we Superstar he wasn’t talking about basketball he wasn’t talking about basketball he was just talking about worst Superstar all the stuff that goes around him being a tremendous basketball player I have no issue what he said and here’s why here’s why when he and maybe he didn’t you know Stephen A does normally explained himself well maybe he didn’t so when you say worst Superstar now now we we understand that he is a superstar mhm basketball kawh Leonard is when he’s healthy when he’s playing he’s one of the best basketball players in the world is he a draw well I think if he plays I think he if he comes into your city and he’s healthy and you know he’s playing do you want to go to the arena to watch Ka I don’t think you go out of your way but I think you’re excited that he’s playing and you you will come to watch him play yeah okay so that wasn’t a basketball critique is what I’m saying like so some people sometimes get it wrong what do you mean he’s one of the worst Superstars ever no no not no it’s a job description that comes with being a superstar okay it’s some other things that you have to do kawh Leonard basically I think has played over 70 games one time in the last8 nine years okay so he’s never available okay true that’s why he’s saying he’s one of the worst okay the other is he’s he’s look leadership is one thing and all that but he’s extremely aloof you remember a couple of years ago when he was injured I think in the sun series I called it out he was up in the Box watching the game mhm dude why you not on the floor with your teammates like why you won titles you should be at the end of the bench those guys come out because they’re trying to go win because you’re not there be at the end of the bench man like to give them some advice you know they come out of the game they’re struggling he’s up in the Box it’s those things and I think that’s what Stephen A meant like he’s one of the worst Superstars meaning that he gets disconnected when he’s not playing you know like I’ve heard stories that you know he takes a helicopter back and forth from where he lives to practice into the games and a lot of times he’s late okay so they got to hold the plane up for him you know getting to the airport you know so they have to hold the plane this is stuff I’ve heard okay so I think that’s what he’s talking about not talking about his basketball when he’s healthy we saw last year I mean the first two games we played the Clippers I mean if he had stayed healthy we were in trouble right now talking about basketball the last point he didn’t play that last year in San Antonio but he never had surgery so he took off because he thought that he could get hurt he Ain have surgery he just wouldn’t play all right okay so and that team in San Antonio they’re the ones that really groomed him drafted him developed him to get to the point of where he was but the Loyalty he had towards them went away right he goes to Toronto and they’re already a 50- win Team all right so he joins Toronto they don’t let him practice all year they let him say he can take days off they can do whatever he wants right they WN a title would not have won the title if KD and Klay Thompson had not gotten hurt let’s just put it where it is true true all right so but they won the title and what’s the reward he leaves he left MH and he ain’t sniffed anything since so when he made that statement I think that’s what he was saying like there had nothing to do with his basketball it’s just the stuff that surrounds him I think think is taken in a weird way yeah and then that’s it so from a basketball standpoint he’s unbelievable but from a from a just watching it and just seeing how he operates and and all that it it could be frustrating that’s all I I could see how it could be frustrating but there have been other players that have been just as maybe not just as in that way but different kinds of frustrating as well and it’s to say that somebody’s the worst I don’t know if I really agree with that but well okay name me a superstar then that that he can compare to based on what I just told you it’s not just basketball it’s being available MH okay he’s injured every time last two years he’s gotten injured his knee is got whatever right he’s got a bad body just because he looks strong doesn’t mean you have a good body so I think name me I mean name me somebody a a superstar that has been like you know you can say tough luck you can say whatever you want to say in that kind of way there probably isn’t anybody yeah there probably isn’t anybody but as we know there’s other things that that people have done that put them in a negative light as well and do not contribute to being what you think think you’re getting in a superstar but I mean I guess why Paul George might Le if I’m Paul George to be quite honest I know they’re moving into a new Arena Paul George I’ve been knowing him since he’s 17 years old he went my he and my son went to Fresno State together so I know him I know his family love the kid to death so if I was celing Paul George pass him not wanting to leave la I say man you’re not going to win with that cuz he’s not it is no guarantee he’s going to be available so how can you win with it like it’s no guarantee that he’s going to be there in the biggest moments that you need him it’s been proven that he won’t be there so if you want a title take your butt somewhere else yeah go to Philly go go attach yourself and and people say well mb’s always that’s true but you got Maxi on that team at least you got You’ have three stars and so you would have the combination of if you got two of them on the court you have a chance to win it’s like but you just want to know that that person’s going to be there yeah like MB was injured but where was embiid he was on the damn Court he was playing with a bad knee yeah he gave it a shot just remember that he gave it a shot he was out there trying you we saw him be running like old man yeah but he was out there where was Kawai that’s what he means okay you know and so I mean I don’t want to be bashing Ka cuz I don’t know what his body feels like but from the from the Optics of it I understood what Stephen A was saying I just don’t think he explained it here I’m telling Stephen A he didn’t explain it right when he takes you know he I can explain everything right Eddie you know but no he didn’t explain that one right I think he should have went more in depth into that okay all right Welly sometimes you you you learn a few things you get a different perspective and you can get a different different perspective uh on the type of beer that you drink on a day-to-day basis by going to Four Peaks because Four Peaks is the best craft brew in the city in the state in the country to be honest does a tremendous job on their show and I’m a big fan of hers but um she has her own podcast with Taylor Rooks and and they had a scenario that popped up that really caught my attention and I want to know what everybody thinks about this the splitting the bill conversation do we pay for the men when do we pay for the men a friend of mine was on her dating journey and she went out with a man twice he paid for everything whined and dined on the third date they spent a day together ordered a bunch of things had some drinks had a good time let’s call it a couple hundred she had to put her card down for this particular place so when they went to pay he was like oh you know your card is down and now she didn’t speak up and ended up paying for the bill they had plans for another date he texted her the next day and was like I don’t really see a long-term future with you I don’t want really want to waste either of our times I think you’re great but I don’t want to keep our date for next week that we had plans which I think is very respectable most people just ghost so she’s talking to me about and she’s like but he did stick me with the bill I was like what are you talking about Stucky with the bill how did you leave paying I was like just text him and say oh okay cool thank you for saying that had a great time too but like here’s your split for Saturday there’s no possible way he thinks that she’s just paying for his presence he got upset did not send her the split and in fact went and sent her the receipts for the last two days yeah uh EJ you’re an old school kind of guy um I I’m very interested to hear what you have to say about this uh because you’ve offered some dating advice before uh I wonder what your perspective is on this this [Laughter] time uh first I would never expect the female to pay for my meal I just would that’s just me I no I would pay for the meal if I could afford it now back when I was in college I couldn’t afford it so my girlfriend at the time not my wife she you know she had to bit the bill sometimes I was broke but ever since then I turned 22 I mean I would I’d pay for the meal I I just wouldn’t I wouldn’t I I don’t know it’s just the way I was brought up uh I was raised by women uh I saw how their men treated them and so for me I wouldn’t even been in that situation if I had seen her card down there I would have Polly picked her card up gave it back to her and I would have paid the bill uh if she was like H like I didn’t enjoy the time with her and obviously he didn’t then that last bill I would wouldn’t have given her anything I wouldn’t have like cuz obviously he called her up the next day and he said well I just don’t think this going to work sure so something went on he did respectfully something went on right sure something went on with that date she turned him off I mean well so yeah maybe yeah I think she did but that’s fine she has a right to turn him off but something happened and he was a little bit vindictive he that’s all he became that’s why I say that’s why I think something happened because he became vindictive like he want to send her receipts from the from the that part that Parts yeah that lets me know he was vindictive sure something she said sure or didn’t say turned him off sure and he became vindictive and that that’s the only thing I can say for that because if he paid for the first two he was excited about going on a date with her and I don’t think it I don’t think he changed his mind because maybe it was looks or anything like that I think it was something she said cuz remember he went on a second date with her yeah and a third date sure so he obviously thought she was attractive and he was into her but she said something that night I don’t know what it was obviously she said something to tick him off and that’s why he went home he didn’t do it in front of her face he went home thought about it and called her up or text her say I don’t want I don’t want to see you anymore my my thing is is it wasn’t necessarily like yeah the that’s that’s low brow to after the fact be like oh here’s your share here’s your split of the bill from you know the bill one and two or whatever my thing is is is the reaction from Joy about the fact that she paid for the third date um to me I was just like wait time out hold up um we we talk about a lot of we talk a lot about this and I I’m old school like you if I if I’m pursuing somebody or if I’m asking a girl out like I’m I’m fronting the bill I’m taking care of everything because I’m I want to get your attention I want you to come and hang out with me so like that’s on me um however comma in this day of of equality and empowerment um I don’t think it’s fair that if I pay for two dates and I just happen to go to the restroom I come back and I see your card down on the third one and you end up paying that I should made should be made to feel like I didn’t take care of business either like you stepped up to the plate I didn’t ask you to step up to the plate you chose to do that cool maybe that’s something that you wanted to do I’m cool with that yeah but but Saul come on now s come on now equality s equality so women are some of the they’re one some of the most smartest creatures on on the face of this Earth do you think it’s a test they do things to test you like they do things to get a reaction out of you they can psychologically mess with your head well that’s fine I know and so that’s probably why putting that card down somebody might have told her hey girl if he if he’s really into you oh come on now look man why this constant testing well because I think you in this in this environment oh women need to test okay hold up hold up women need to test in this environment they need to test dudes man these dudes man they think they look with this swipe left swipe left apps out there and all this these dudes think that everything is easy okay they the uh males in this Society they grown they they’ve grown up in an easy environment they don’t have to go hustle to meet somebody okay they can just swipe left swipe right look at a picture and that’s exactly not buy it it’s just easy easy Eric is easily in that in this today window now and now he is married I’m not trying to put Eric on the spot but prior to your your you meeting Megan and all that stuff how difficult is the dating scene out there so I I got lucky I met my wife on a dating app which I think is like a complete outlier right but before that I mean it’s almost like the convenience part of it is actually a downside right with like the swipes swipes swipes because they’re on the other end swiping too and then there’s a lot of just like surface level whatever and then there’s not always a lot of trust of like hey let’s like actually like meet up and then I think a lot of people use that as a crutch and then they don’t know or learn how to approach people in real life or they think oh well I’m not going to go out and do anything because I’m just going to sit here and and swipe and so I feel like you can kind of look at it either way see I I don’t think you could judge somebody strictly on those those tests for instance right like I’ll give you an example here’s a personal story right so when I met my wife uh we dated um and I I was working the only job I could get at the time was as a freelance referee and I’m making 40 bucks a game that’s it right and so I didn’t have a lot of money in my bank account and so we went out on a date and that date basically took everything out of my bank account she wanted to see me the the following week we fast forward to like you know maybe a couple dates but they were like in-house dates right we didn’t go anywhere we just chilled out the house but she ordered out and she she paid for several things and uh I just didn’t have any money for it now I didn’t tell her I didn’t have any money for it but she and and all I could think of is like think about if she was to say like oh this dude ain’t wor [ __ ] he Ain he ain’t that guy he’s not you know he’s not willing to do this this and this and this and the things that we would have sacrificed um obviously we wouldn’t have known but the things that we would sacrificed in our life like we have a phenomenal life right now uh she is my everything and like and I do I have done everything I possibly can to try and take care of her on my end um to to the to the fact that like I would do anything for her right so I think it’s more than just like how much money does this dude have in his bank account it what else what else are you doing to try separate yourself from the herd and I think I think there’s more to it than just did he pay for my third bill I don’t think I don’t think uh most women are thinking that I I think you would you would be surprised at some not all of course at some but I but I don’t think most women most women first of all they want somebody they can trust obviously somebody’s G to protect them uh somebody that can take care of them which you should you’re the man of the house I think think those are the things that they look for and I don’t think they’re into looks like men are like men are into looks like a woman she you you can see a woman and she can be with an unattractive guy but she loves that guy because he’s everything to her like women think differently man and so that’s the way I view it and but it’s hard for them I’m not look it’s hard for women in this environment when when men now they don’t have to work to meet somebody back in our day you saw somebody you had to go immediately and try oh yeah cuz you wouldn’t see them again yeah nowadays you oh you can find them on social networking and have another try at it you know so it’s hard man for women in this environment it’s hard it’s hard out here in these streets it’s hard for the for women now I’m not saying it’s not hard for men either but for women it is and so yeah I I just I just think she she tested him and I think he got turned off by it aren’t you glad you don’t have to do this [ __ ] anymore yeah oh my God every day it’s hard well I got two kids though then neither neither right now have a relationship they’re both 30 and it’s hard it’s a struggle yeah it’s a struggle my son’s the same way he’s 2 I feel for you young people I do it’s tough anyway uh
