Spurs To TRADE Keldon Johnson?

I’m so shocked I’m so shocked right now did you guys know that the Spurs are willing to trade Kell and Johnson what that’s crazy bro I want some n are we having fun yet all right so we shouldn’t be that shocked right we shouldn’t be that shocked that Kellan Johnson more than likely will be moved and the Spurs are willing to hear some trade offers I told you guys this already at least from you know my perspective and what I’ve heard on my side of things I did hear that Kellin Johnson uh could potentially be moved right um and then you have so many different sources out there but we don’t need any of that okay screw what I say screw what anyone says you don’t need sources on this I feel like if you watched this this this team this past season it’s pretty apparent that Kellin Johnson would be a player that’s moved right um there hasn’t been any type of drama any type of pointing the finger of any uh players to each other but one thing that we have noticed on multitude of occasions there’s been a little bit of friction you know with Kell and Jeremy where they’re like what what are you what are you doing man um and you know I’m not saying that that’s a reason that’s I’m I’m not trying to even you know you know put that out there that that’s definite I’m just saying that it it shows it’s a byproduct of Kellin Johnson not necessarily fitting with what was going on with the offense and fitting for what we need on the defensive end if anything he it seems as if he’s regressed in in certain aspects uh but we’ll talk about that in in a second but if you want to know what the actual report is this is from Brett seagull uh the Spurs are leaving the door open when it comes to Johnson uh and it says selected 29th overall uh he’s shown Improvement in his points per game over the first four seasons in the league however his scoring average dipped this season from 22 to 15.7 points per game and that’s very unfortunate um because I thought going into into the season that Kellin Johnson would actually improve next to wimy I I thought and I shout out to my boy Swiss Hill because he told me like before the season even started like I don’t think that’s going to be the case but I thought that Kellin would actually look better next to wimy because think about it wimy is going to bring so much attention on the offensive end um he he hadd so much uh so many issues on the defensive end and with Kellin Johnson being a pretty streaky scorer but at times be a really hot uh uh three-point shooter I thought that maybe you know bringing that much attention and that much gravity that wimy has that he would open things up for Kellin he will be able to have a very simple game and put up quite a few points because he’s getting those opportunities but that is not the case that has not been the case at all and I think a big chunk of that is because with wimy one thing that a lot of people didn’t account for is how good of a passer he actually is and how team oriented wiim banama uh is as well and the team as a whole has kind of played like that they play Team oriented ball and it can’t just be one player uh go ahead and shine that has not been the case and Kellin Johnson with a player that he’s he’s a type player that has so much tunnel vision that that that actually and he’s not good enough to be like the main option even the second option to a team it it really showed and it looked really bad um as the season went on so uh but let’s see what else it says here uh the decrease in production can be attributed to changes within the team particularly the emergence of the new offensive Vocal Point Victor wama the shift led to a decrease in Johnson’s playing time and shots per game as well as a transition from a starting role to a backup position that’s a good point last season Johnson played in 63 games making 63 starts uh this season he’s only had 27 starts in 69 games I’ve also seen a report say which I don’t know I I don’t know if this is true or not okay this this is one of those uh grain assault ones cuz I don’t know if I really trust the the source and which which came from but I just came across it and they said that Kellan had a problem with uh coming off the bench I I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt I think that’s super unfair to just assume that that that oh that’s the reason Kellin Johnson wants betrayed I it’s a little bit of post talk justifying when it comes to that I think over overall Kellin Johnson leaving or the Spurs trading him it’s is strictly basketball when it comes to his fit with the team ideally right it’s it’s so many hypotheticals with Kellin for me personally I thought hypothetically he should have been you know really productive next to somebody like wimy um and then another thing hypothetically coming off the bench and being with the type of player that he is where he does have so much tunnel vision he is kind of a a spark plug type player that he should really look great coming off the bench all these are H hypothetically but all this is hypothetically speaking but unfortunately in reality that is not the case it it is not been good defensively he has been horrendous there’s been many of times where he comes into the game and he just straight up just momentum stops I don’t know how many times we went on live streams after games and I pointed this out that it seemed as if it just stopped the Spurs might be going on a roll he comes in it stops the ball stops moving and he forces a shot and it’s terrible or on the defensive end where Kell and Johnson gets subbed in and the and the opposing team immediately hits a three they immediately attack him it’s not all him by the way I think Kellin Johnson will be a fine player you know on a on another team it’s just that with the Spurs and wimy I think that they need more like higher basketball IQ players and obviously they need you know some defensive wings so upgrading that position is crucial um to to the future I brought this up before but everyone wants to bring up kawhai kawhai kawhai but there is some truth to that right um we’ve had Stephen Jackson come back to the San Antonio Spurs you know he’s not like the best defender in the world he’s no lock down Defender um but you know he was a scorer but that wasn’t good enough we had Richard Jefferson you’re like well well can you do it he’s not a great defender it didn’t really work out it didn’t pan out he’s a good shooter though for us uh and then Kawhi Leonard that’s the one that pans out and we we we’re always at least from you know as long as I’ve been a Spurs fan it seems like we’re always searching for that defensive Wing because it’s a very important position but we’re always kind of searching for that and I think the Spurs need a upgrade at that position desperately desperately um but this nonetheless I know some people be upset about it this is actually good news um you know we already kind of knew about it a little bit uh but it it’s good that is is starting to be more uh prevalent in in the reporting uh around the around the league so uh yeah yeah I I don’t I don’t dislike Kellin as a player I probably should say that Kellin Johnson I mean I do dislike him as a player for the Spurs but Kellin Johnson as a person I think he’s a great guy like I I genuinely think that I think that he is San Antonio I think that he gives to the community I think that he’s embraced uh being you know unselfish that’s why I’m going to give him the benefit that out with that stuff where it’s like oh I don’t I’m I have a problem with you know not starting I I don’t I don’t really believe that um you know maybe it’s true but I I don’t believe it uh so he he as a character he does fit the culture he’s a great guy uh he has so much chemistry off the court with other players that’s another thing where like I said I don’t want to say there’s drama between him and Jeremy soan because I don’t believe that but on the court there’s a little bit of frustrations but off the court they love each other right so I I love Kellin as as a guy I love him as as a as a person at least from what we’ve seen from our you know we can never know someone for sure but uh he’s cool he seems like a cool guy but basketball-wise man he does not fit with the Spurs and and it’s time for for us to to to let this one go um
