and um you know you do these morning shows a lot now which is which is great you know they figured out there’s the smartest guy we got in our whole joint talking basketball is this man and so I’m goingon to give you a little morning hot take talk right here okay the best player in this series is who in the NBA Finals LCA dones Luca he’s he’s the guy there’s no answer for LCA dones I I don’t think he’s really affected by the personel you throw him and Boston’s got plenty of it they got a lot of Versatility there Luca donic controls the game unlike any other player in the NBA whose Legacy has the most all right wait I okay I slipped I slipped forget back to back to what we do here um I agree with you who’s Boston put on it Jaylen Brown has the best physical profile to guard him now they they’ve got guys Drew holiday obviously Derek white I just think when you put smaller type guards and those guys aren’t little by any by any means but lcad Don is legitimately 68 he he’s he’s as wide as a refrigerator he hitss you with a shoulder in your chest and air leaves your body cuz you back up and give ground and he steps away from you to create separation Jaylen Brown has the length and the physical Brawn that you need to be able to dig in and not give ground but still have enough size to contest him problem with that is Luca is very good at drawing fouls do you want Jaylen Brown to pick up two fouls in the first six minutes of a game because he bites on a couple of head fakes that that’s the tough one the great thing about Boston is Scott they’ve got a lot of different guys that they can throw with him they do an adequate job okay but Dallas like and hey great that they’re focusing on defense and and all praise to them for being better there but Boston’s got a hell of a lot of options that that Dallas is going to have to deal with and I don’t know what direction they go in terms of trying to stop the multiple scoring options that Boston’s got this is by far the best closeout team at the three-point line that they will have played to this point in the playoffs and that would have been the same by the way if it had been Minnesota that got in that is what I’m so fascinated by in this series I have a pretty good feeling what these guys are going to do offensively the top guys the top of the food chain guys I am fascinated to see the impact that that Dallas’s defense has on Boston because that is a team that can hit you like a buz saw on certain nights and when they’re making a lot of Threes they’re almost unguardable let’s see what this improved Dallas defense has for them because they’ve been one of the best in the league for the last three months Boston can’t do that mess around and let a game slip away kind of thing that they did in these early series like and and they tried to hand one to Indiana Indiana just couldn’t figure out how to take it who do you like to win the series I like Dallas I’m I’m I’m riding right now the way LCA and Kyrie are playing together and the level there it’s on displaying the way they can control the game final start in a week on ABC you will be here in between now and then like we going to we head back to the beach yeah go to the beach maybe maybe get a round of golf in it’s been a while might get one of those in that that’s great I imagine Jersey Shore off no days off we’ll be here just we’re fing so I’ll be extra sharp for you next Thursday promise [Music] [Applause] me NBA is

Close series but the 🦄 will be the X factor
The mavericks are only Luka and Kyrie and Kyrie can be severely limited by jrue. The Celtics go 5 deep in starters. There is a reason Dallas was not competitive with the Celtics during the regular season as it's because the Celtics are a terrible matchup for them. Luka will get his points for sure but he is a horrific defender and easily beaten by any of the Celtics starters when he is guarding.

Respect Legler’s opinion. But I think the Celtics experience is getting overlooked. Other than Luka and Kyrie, almost every Mav’s role player has little to no playoff experience. The entire 7-8 Boston rotation besides KP have all gone through multiple seasons of high leverage playoff battles. I just think if the Jays match Luka/Kyrie, which I think is very likely, Boston has more seasoned players that will outplay the Mav’s role players. Coming from a Lakers fan who’s rooting for Dallas, I just can’t see it happening. We’ll see !

Dallas will be the best team by far with the best players they've faced in 2 months lol. Luka and Kyrie are on a completely different level right now and they've done this against the #1 defense and #4 defense in the league and the top two seeds on the road. They are ready for anything Boston has. Should be a barn burner of a series. I still got the Mavs all the way.

lowkey if celtics cna hit 3s at volume it will be tough for mavs. Tatum is not the worry, but brown could mvp if they fall. They got guys. I think both brown and tatum are better off ball than luka and kyrie.
How will Mavs deal with Celtics' spacing offense? Cos packing the paint won't work because of the many potential ways Boston can score.

Those young agile legs of 2 bigs in dallas are the x factor in my opinion.. they cant stretch the bigs to shoot outside the box bec they can make a good defense for that. And JT and JB inconsistensies in their fg is a big problem for celtics. Plus al horford liability in drop coverage is a milking ponts for the mavs so i give my 2 cents to dallas to win a chip.
