what a win on the road third win in this series for the heat in Miami now a couple of memes and a few finals runs really doesn’t mean that Jimmy would never leave Miami and after Pat Riley told him to keep your mouth shut and shared his concerns about giving Jimmy Butler a Max extension right now we should at least question I hate to interrupt yall video because it’s a really good one but I do want demand a trade and really the 76ers have kind of been the main team that you hear rumored supposedly they’re interested in a reunion with Jimmy Butler and there was even another report yesterday from Keith Pompei who said that the Sixers are apparently prepared to give Jimmy a Max extension if he was traded to them now I would say Jimmy would the only way Jimmy would get traded is if the heat didn’t give him his extension so therefore whichever team is Trading for him must have already agreed to give him the max extension but anyways 99% of reports you hear during an NBA off season either me nothing or just obvious points this would be one of them so I don’t put too much stock into it but it’s still another flame to the fire of the 76ers being interested in Jimmy Butler and if you look at Philly’s cap situation for next year they got a ton of money that’s been the main reason you’ve heard all these Paul George rumors as well because he is a free agent they could sign out right and if you look at their roster all they have under contract next year is embiid Paul Reed and a couple of bums I never heard of so they got a ton of space which is why I saw this mock trade yes you are looking at this correctly apparently the the Sixers can literally just absorb Jimmy’s contract without sending any money out in return and they do have a ton of draft Capital so they could send over three first round picks which for Jimmy I do think is fair now I think there would be better op offers out there I talked about one yesterday where Jimmy could go to the Spurs we’d get three first round picks and Kellin Johnson and Jeremy Sohan so I think like I said other teams may be able to give more assets but if you can get three first round picks for Jimmy I don’t I don’t think that’s bad value because he is going to ask for a lot of money in an extension and he’s going to be getting paid like $58 million when he’s 37 that’s obviously the concerning part now all that being said I wouldn’t do this deal because I I wouldn’t trade Jimmy Butler I am fully firm on well I would rather wait the season to give Jimmy his extension but if he’s not okay with that and he says give me my money now or I walk I personally believe that he’s done enough to deserve it so I would rather give him his money than see him walk because I still think that he has one or two Superstar years left in him but if like what happened back with dwade if the heat don’t feel comfortable giving Jimmy his money and he asks out I do think they would try to do right by him and maybe that would make them want to accept this package over a package from the Spurs for example now we do know Jimmy does like Joel and beid he’s been on record many times saying he’s one of his favorite players and he he’s like the one guy that he would like to play with so I could see Jimmy being happy back in Philadelphia and obviously the fit would be pretty great right last time Jimmy was unhappy he didn’t like the coach he didn’t like Ben Simmons for obvious reasons that we’re all seeing now but now they got Tyrese Maxi who for all intents and purposes seems like a really great guy he’s obviously a really great player and I do think a big three of Maxi Jimmy and embiid could compete to make the NBA Finals but all of that being said Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat are a matchmate in heaven and he will never ever leave and those are his words not mine and then the one question was what’s the one thing you never want to wear do you remember your answer to it yep what was your answer uh it was a Miami he Jersey and full circle now um it’ll it’ll be the last jersey that I wear even more recently Jimmy was on record saying I feel at home man I really care about the city I really care about the people in this city Miami has embraced me they’ve wanted me to bring them something they haven’t done since LeBron dwade and C Bosch and I want to do that so as soon as I get this knee back right I’m right back on they ass and everybody know it and these are just a couple of the many dozen times that Jimmy has expressed his love for Miami and how he really wants to retire as a Miami Heat now I know a lot of players say a lot of things you hear all the time the guy like Kyrie back in Boston saying oh I don’t want to leave and then two months later they demand a trade you hear stuff like that all the time but Jimmy Butler is different he has always called it like he is he’s no BS and if he felt a certain type of way he would say it so this is not just Jimmy trying to Hype up his status in theity and gain a few fans he’s saying these these things time and time again because he truly means it and compare those quotes to what Jimmy has said in his other spots in Chicago he said well this this quote just says expletives just got to care if we win or lose be a star in your role that’s how you win in this league man you have to embrace what this team what this organization needs for you to do on either end of the floor and on top of everything else just play every possession like it’s your last we don’t play hard all the time this was back in Chicago and he had more to say as well he also said if you don’t come in for the next game ticked off after you lose a game if you’re not ticked off that you lost something is wrong I want to play with guys that care guys that play hard that that want to do well for this organization that want to win games do whatever it takes just win who cares who is Shining he was literally describing heat culture years before he got here and the funny part is after Jimmy Butler said those things about Chicago they actually finded him and as punishment they forced him to come off the bench in the following game which coincidentally was against the Miami Heat in which the Heat won 100 to 88 and in which the heat fielded a starting lineup of this Luke babbit Willie Reid GOI dragic Deon waiters and Rodney McGruder that’s who the Bulls lost to and of course there was that infamous moment in Minnesota when Jimmy took the third stringers and dominated the starters in practice and he was screaming you bleeping need me you can’t win without me which was a close call because uh the Minnesota timbles for a second I thought they might win the NBA championship but as we sit here right now they are down 3 to one versus Dallas Mavericks they actually just won tonight now I know the only player on that team that was there when Jimmy was there is Carl Anthony towns he’s the only one still there but still I I think it might have been a a bad look for Jimmy there but that incident in that Timberwolves locker room shocks everyone e even the executives listen to Jeff’s te’s account of the story he ain’t took off his Jordan warmup yet right he finally takes it off he got the timber wol shirt on but he cut the Minnesota out the so it’s just chest wow he cut the Minnesota out the shorts It’s just shorts this man Jimmy Butler literally cut out the Minnesota branding from his practice shirt and practice shorts even in Philadelphia Jimmy Butler hated the head coach wge points out here that Jimmy aggressively challenged Brett Brown and he complicated an already tenuous chemistry among the team’s big three hierarchy so after Jimmy got into it with the head coach in Philly that organization literally traded him you compare that to what happened in Miami during the middle of a game you had spoler and Jimmy literally screaming at each other nearly came to blows had to get held back because they were about to swing on each other they were cursing out each other back and forth and what did the Miami Heat do well they damn near went to the NBA finals that very season on the back of Jimmy Butler Jimmy Butler enjoys confrontation he loves to be challenged so I believe whether he gets his extension or not he will go out there on the courts to prove that he deserves his money that’s why I believe Miami is Jimmy’s home in and he is
