Lakers Have Suns Pressure For Bronny James

what’s going on everyone so bronny James did a whole video diving into the Lakers potentially taking him with the 17th pick after this video go check that video out if you haven’t watched it but what I want to talk about in this video is the applied pressure thanks to the Phoenix Suns now I believe Rich Paul and LeBron and the Lakers and everybody have Dawn have done their darnest to try to nudge bronny James to the Lakers right for a year all we heard is LeBron wants to play with the son if you draft bronny you could potentially land LeBron right it’s this big deal it’s like LeBron’s lifelong dream it’s like everything he’s ever hoped for and now all of a sudden when the time comes and it can happen all of a sudden LeBron’s ah it’s okay and Rich Paul’s telling people like hey LeBron’s not coming if you draft him just letting you know and look I’ve always lived by the idea of like somebody’s going to draft bronnie right I know even before this draft combine he has made huge strides and he actually looks really good in the combine um and so much so he’s basically now at this point probably a lock for second round but there’s a lot of talk about him moving late first round but I’ve talked about that even when he was projected to go undrafted that I just believed some team would take a flyer on him like you have teams that are going to have you know like the 30th pick in the draft that are like oh this draft is weak everybody’s trying to trade their pick like no one really wants to keep this year’s pick because it’s not looked at as a great TR outside of like the top three to like maybe top five everyone else is basically just a roll of the dice and you’re hoping that you hit right nobody’s really like looking at this draft going man this is going to be an excellent draft class now every draft class even the worst have had you know a guy or two that have came out bare minimum that have really you know been great right um there’s always that kind of diamond in the RO there’s always that that just Blue Chip roll guy that somebody ends up pulling out um there’s always the potential of like drafting that star that no one expected no one uh saw coming there’s always that possibility but you never really know and the draft is always regardless right is even in the best drafts it’s still kind of this crapshoot just how it is just the reality so to me it was kind of like okay somebody is probably going to take a flyer just cuz from even just from a financial standpoint Brony makes sense from for some organizations think of all the media conversations the potential and the hype there’s some teams that are Never Getting publicity that if they drafted Brony all of a sudden media dollars are coming in ticket sales are coming right like it just from a Financial State makes sense for some teams to draft Brony and then if you do end up Landing LeBron woo here we go right now now I mean you probably make billion dollars in two years that if they play together or a year that they play together right probably make a fortune off of just that combo but so I always thought somebody would take the chance Phoenix seems really like no we’re we’re probably going to take him right like Phoenix seems pretty determined to to land bronny James and now there’s all the talk like there’s talks about oh LeBron signing for a vet Min he’s not signing for a vet minimum for to go play if he was going to sign for a vet minimum why would he just sign for a vet minimum with the Lakers and the Lakers could go do some like LeBron could take half the money that he’s G that he could make and the Lakers would still be in cap trouble but if he took like a vet minimum the Lakers would actually they wouldn’t have like a Max but they have some stuff to work with here like they could maybe make some real moves uh and maybe even make some like bigger trades and all that stuff because they wouldn’t have to worry about any like the new SE hard think they’d be in great shape if LeBron signed for a vet minimum right LeBron isn’t leaving he’s here I mean I don’t I’m not saying that he won’t at some point right I think he’ll sign a new contract once he gets through this contract then I think it’s time to start talking about LeBron potentially leaving because at that point I could see him maybe taking you know a year for a farewell tour go play with his son or maybe goes some retires a c or something like that I could see something along those lines happening but him actually like departing I would be genuinely shocked if it happens like genuinely and nothing really surprises me in basketball talk about it all the time right like I don’t like to speak in definitives CU every time you think you know something about the game it just flips on you I mean how many crazy things impossible Feats have we seen happen right it’s just how Sports work so I would be a little I would not a little I’d be genuinely shocked if he left but that’s not going to stop teams from drafting brony if they like bronnie and even like I said the dollar amount and also the always potential right maybe LeBron does come maybe LeBron does end up leaving even if it’s not this year maybe he come maybe he signs a new OnePlus One let’s bronny get a year under and then maybe he comes right if you’re Phoenix you’re like man hey like what if we get LeBron in his retirement year and he does and he takes you know 10 million or something like that right it’s always the possibility but my concern is now there ‘s this pressure and this real looming threat that is the Phoenix Suns to potentially grab Brony and now all of like kind of the wheeling and deing just went out the window right cuz I believe the Lakers will if they can draft bronnie I do I think if they have the opportunity I don’t think they’ll do that necessarily with the 17th pick even said it in that video that I made which again after this video go check that video but even in that video I was like look I don’t believe the Lakers draft anybody with that 17 pick I believe if they do draft somebody it’s for another team and even if they do draft somebody I’m pretty confident they trade that I’d be really it’s another thing not I wouldn’t be super duper surprised because there is always the possibility there is no trade on the table there’s nothing that makes sense for the Lakers but I’d be a little surprised if the Lakers don’t trade this year’s pick I think that they trade this pick right so I don’t believe that they’re going to draft Brony at 17 but does it apply pressure right does if if Phoenix is like hey you know we’re going to draft bronny at 22 do the Lakers go ah man like do we just do we work out a trade to maybe get multiple like trade 17 for like the 20th pick in a second or something right or the the 20th pick in you know whatever like a future pick or something right do they try to work something out to where that maybe they make a a different move to to where it’s like ah we didn’t trade the or maybe they trade the 17 pick and get like a player something you know maybe they try to work something out to where they snag him before the Phoenix Suns Canan it’s like hey we didn’t take him with the 17 pick we got Brony and we got something else right we got a second round pick in this year’s draft so now we could draft two more guys or package those two seconds um I think more likely what happens because I don’t think Brony will last to to 55 I just don’t I think more likely what happens is the Lakers end up moving up but they move up to like you know the 40th pick or something right like bronny probably gets taken in the second round Lakers probably try to move up to a point to where realistically they can snag him but I just have concerns and I hope that they don’t fall into that trap of like well Phoenix can take to me I’m hoping the Lakers just go well good luck in Phoenix the other problem is too is that bronny the two there’s only two teams that he’s working out for and that’s the Lakers and the Suns so it’s like you know which also adds fuel to the you know Paws no Diddy there just I was trying to do a Canon no Diddy okay but time out let refresh rewind now you get the light and fire on the on putting gasoline on the fire right that doesn’t help because of LeBron with the bronny thing and all that stuff right like that’s something that’s like you know I I I I have my concerns with right it’s like okay you have all this media you you have like the looming threat of LeBron potentially leaving oh Phoenix is going to go grab him LeBron could go and leave and go play with Phoenix and play with his son and you know contend for a championship hey Phoenix needs a playmaker badly LeBron could be that playmaker right you could have LeBron at the four nerk at the at the five ktie at the three Booker at the two Beal at the one but LeBron’s really the point guard right oh good luck right like you have all the all this noise and all this chirping and all this stuff going around my concern is that the Lakers buy and believe into that hype and then they’re like oh we got to take bronnie at 17 and it’s like a I just got all this pressure and I just I don’t I want the Lakers to trade that pick because if the Lakers do trade that pick then it’s probably for an upgrade it’s probably to bring somebody in that makes sense that’s going to make us better hopefully not just this year coming up but for the foreseeable future that’s the hope that’s the idea um I just my my concern is like can they like do they fall into the Trap right like it kind of feels like that’s what’s happened the trap’s been laid and Rich Paul has just been working his tail off to like basically shush every all the other teams away and like hey get out of here and then now you have this like Phoenix threat and now it’s like oh we’re we’re okay going to Phoenix now we’re willing to do Phoenix Phoenix makes sense and it’s like is that is that the play right is that the is that the rich Paul play to where it’s like okay we’re going to get we’re going to move and nudge towards Phoenix who has the 22nd pick and they’ll take bronnie so it’s like hey should probably take bronie right like to me it’s just it is a genuine concern it’s something that I I have my concerns with but anyway as always this is a Lakers drafting Bronny James has been the heavy Lakers News the last few month. Lebron James has wanted to play with his son and has made that very clear until recently as Rich Paul and the Lakers try to nudge Bronny Towards the team. The Phoenix Suns are currently standing in the way. Lots of Suns hype to draft Bronny James and they having the 22nd pick could cause some problems.
