I Don’t Think We Realize What The New York Knicks Just Did..

there’s absolutely no answer for what the New York Knicks are doing and I think nobody seems to notice that this team is far from reaching its ultimate potential what the New York Knicks are doing is unbelievable and they’re just getting started I don’t think we realize what the New York Knicks just did and that’s what we’re going to talk about in this video the Knicks had too many injuries OG got hurt Josh Hart was playing through pain Jaylen Brunson broke his hand Mitchell Robinson was out Randall was out and Bun was out when I look at the Timberwolves Dallas Mavericks and even the Celtics although porzingis did get hurt the Knicks would still be playing if we had all our players we would have beaten the Celtics they had an easy path to the finals beating the heat without Jimmy the Cavs without Mitchell and Allen and the Pacers only made it because the Knicks weren’t there but what I want to talk about in this video isn’t that because you guys already know it you’ve probably heard about it for weeks by now today I want to discuss why the New York Knicks shouldn’t make any big moves this off season I understand the media needs something to talk about and they’ll push the idea of trading Julius Randall at the start of this season I wanted nothing to do with Julius Randall he was terrible in the playoffs I know he was playing through pain but he’s been one of the worst playoff performers in NBA history he was awful against the Atlanta Hawks and again in the last playoffs but this past season we didn’t see Randall in the playoffs so I can’t judge him on that what I did see was a guy who averaged 24 points and nine rebounds was in great shape and had five assists per game the Knicks were beating top teams like the Nuggets wolves Sixers and heat with Randall and OG playing in January we had our second best month in franchise history going something like 16-2 it was unbelievable and now all of a sudden the Knicks are not only considering trading Randall but also trading Randall and picks to get Kevin Durant or M Bridges this doesn’t make a lot of sense Julius Randall may not be better than Kevin Durant but he’s a lot younger and fits what we’re trying to do Jaylen Brunson struggled to get good shots in the playoffs because teams were trapping him with Randall on the court Brunson would get more open looks since Defenders would have to choose between guarding Randall oneon-one or helping off Brunson Brunson and Randall make a great d and I want to see what they can do together it’s also important to look at the supporting players Isaiah hartenstein improved a lot Dante Devan chenzo was a great pickup OG and nun’s defense saved the Knicks who were one of the worst defensive teams before they got him Josh Hart also stepped up his game in the regular season he averaged nine points eight rebounds and four assists in the playoffs he was even better with 14.5 Points 11 7.5 rebounds 4.5 assists a steal and a block per game he played a lot of minutes defended well and grabbed rebounds Hart struggled in game seven and game six because he was hurt despite all the injuries and challenges the Knicks still made it to a game seven with the Pacers this makes me proud to be a Knicks fan this was the best season the Knicks have had in my life even though it might sound sad this was the best Knicks team I’ve seen in over 20 years and I can’t wait to see what we do next season I really hope oia nuni and Isaiah hartenstein come back to the Knicks these two players have been vital to our team’s success and their contributions can’t be overstated although I’m not explicitly asking them to take pay cuts it would be ideal if they could consider it for the team’s sake let’s start with Isaiah hardenstein he has been a key player for us known for his rebounding ability passing and overall fit within our team culture unfort Ely we can’t compete with teams like the Thunder if they offer him $25 million a year realistically we can probably offer him between $18 to $20 million annually while I’m not saying he isn’t worth more our budget simply doesn’t allow for such a high salary despite this I would love to see hardenstein stay with the Knicks his presence on the court has been transformative and he embodies the hardworking team first mentality that defines our identity now now when it comes to OG and unabi the situation is a bit different we are more inclined to match nearly any offer he receives because we invested heavily to bring him onto the team we traded RJ Barrett and Emanuel quickley arguably our two most valuable young players to get OG this trade underscores how much we value him and the role he plays on our team OG’s defensive prowess coupled with his ability to contribute offensively makes him an indispensable asset his skill set perfectly complements our strategy and enhances our competitiveness both hardenstein and anun are equally important to the Knicks parten Stein’s rebounding and passing abilities have been crucial in many of our games allowing us to control the tempo and create scoring opportunities his integration into the team has been seamless reinforcing our defensive schemes and providing stability on both ends of the floor anuna on the other hand has been a defensive Powerhouse his versatility on defense coupled with his ability to shoot and score adds a layer of complexity to our game plan that is hard for opponents to counter OG can guard multiple positions making it difficult for opposing teams to exploit mismatches his presence on the court often shifts the defensive dynamic in our favor allowing other players to focus more on their offensive roles keeping OG an unabi and Isaiah hartenstein should be a top priority for the Knicks while Financial constraints might make it challenging to offer hartenstein what he could get from other teams his importance to our team can’t be overlooked an unabi given the significant assets we traded for him is almost certain to stay as his role is too critical to let go these players have become integral parts of our team and their continued presence would be a huge boost for our future aspirations their contributions go beyond statistics they embody the spirit and identity of the Knicks making them must resign players in every sense in terms of Alec Burks he’s a free agent now I’d like to have him back but he’ll probably get more money and opportunities elsewhere but imagine if the Knicks had stayed healthy I think they would have been the best matchup in the NBA against any team East or West especially the Boston Celtics why because Jaylen Brunson would be the best player on the court every night Julius Randall can match Jaylen brown or Tatum G brings strong defense and can score 15 points Dante dant chenzo can hit threes and we have other Shooters like McBride and Josh Hart who hit a big shot against the Sixers in game six we could have really challenged the Celtics they weren’t tested in the playoffs the Knicks if healthy would have beaten the Sixers and Pacers then faced the Celtics but that’s just a hypothetical the Celtics swept the Pacers and the Knicks didn’t get the chance it’s hard to sleep thinking about what could have been I can’t believe we have to wait 5 months for the next game I miss watching the Knicks every night this off season is crucial we have draft picks including two in the first round but not much Financial flexibility which means we might lose OG and hartenstein however it’s always the next man up hopefully we can keep Jericho Sims pra is under contract and I need to check Mitchell Robinson’s contract we’re in a great spot with a roster developing nicely we’re not the youngest or most talented team but we play with the most heart and pride we’ve established ourselves like the Knicks of the90s and early 2000s I’m happy with how we’ve played and the improvements we’ve made credit to management for signing Randall Brunson trading for OG signing Dante and hardenstein and drafting McBride management has been great but I wish we had gotten a fair chance hopefully we do next season it sucks seeing the Celtics in the finals because they didn’t face a team like the Knicks sure they beat us 3 to one in the regular season but when we had OG and even without Randall we beat him by 30 points next season we’ll be ready

There’s absolutely no answer for what the New York Knicks are doing, and I think nobody seems to notice that this team is far from reaching its ultimate potential.

What the New York Knicks are doing is unbelievable, and they’re just getting started.

I don’t think we realize what the New York Knicks just did, and that’s what we’re gonna talk about in this video.
