When are they gonna mention that Austin Reaves & D-lo aren’t a legitimate starting back court. Reaves isn’t a consistent 2 and d-lo isn’t a consistent 1. Upgrade the backcourt. Make Reaves your 6th man. Then we can actually be contenders. But if Reaves is a starter next year we’re still in trouble and not close to winning a title. Small guards won’t get it done either. This Colin sexton talk is crazy 😂

I think should keep Dlo and get Murray him and Dlo in the back court could work especially if they get a center that's a scoring threat but can some defense too

Zach contract is really difficult he’s a very good player. But a third player on the team commanding $40 million salary is rough!
Next season is already at a lot so the Lakers ought to semi-build for post LBJ. They can trade for Zach if his price drops to one or no future first round picks and draft Cam Christie with the 17th pick. People ruled out Curry as too scrawny for the NBA. Cam C has a shooting touch. The starting lineup of AD, LBJ, Zach, Cam C instantly brings up the shooting accuracy. Reaves off the bench and starting 5 that offsets Cam C’s defensive liabilities. The Lakers need to go in new direction with two other constant scoring threats besides LBJ & AD.
Reaves is the one you should shop…he can be a fan favorite somewhere else and help the Lakers be better defensively

As long as LBJ plays with the Lakers, no system will be in place. LBJ will keep running at a slowdown pace or the "set play," but no real sets are being played because he does not want to pass the ball unless it is going to turn into an assist.
What’s the difference if he, LeGM, leaves now, are in two years? Trevor, So we suck in two years instead of now? Wouldn’t it be a smart decision to start the process now. It’s obvious they don’t have the assets to acquire what they need to win a championship
If we’re basing this off last season; We need a 3&D Guard + Center that isn’t a negative influence on the defensive end & can rebound.
Then we need a head coach that can coach 😅 We’re not as far behind as we may think.

If the lakers trade Rui/Austin/Gabe plus 2029 and 2031 first rd picks for Murray and Hunter…Then draft K'elel Ware, sign CP3 and Goga Bitadze to a minimum then you would have a complete and obtainable offseason. Starting lineup: Murray/Christie/Hunter/Lebron/AD Bench: CP3/Dinwiddie/Prince/Vando/Bitadze( or Wood)

I'm all in on the consistency model but with the guys that really complement each other in some way, build around AD,Lebron,AR, Vando and Max, Rui if possible but those 5 guys need to stay and get a piece or 2 that can complement those guys a great Wing and a center
