the Timberwolves never really challenged in this entire game Craig we’ll start with you what did you think about this dominant perance Su from unwatchable basketball game I hated it there’s nothing even to talk about it you know you had Luca who’s on fire I had the 21st quarter points uh and Minnesota no showed it was really disappointing uh because Minnesota having you know made Dallas fans sweat a teeny bit teeny bit when they avoided The Sweep uh and winning in Dallas you figure you come back home you’ve got a crowd that’s got nothing else going on in their lives so everything is centered around you know Minnesota Tim rule basketball and they came out and laid an egg and look you know there’s old cliche in sports oh that team didn’t show up right well that was last night I know physically they were there but they weren’t there emotionally and they weren’t present and what Luca did was put on a shooting Clinic uh and I haven’t seen him do that I mean you you watch every game the Mavericks play I can’t tell you the last time I saw him like that we’ve seen some great games I think he’s one of only three guys now in the history of the NBA postseason to put up 450 150 and 150 in One Singular postseason uh you know points rebounds and assists uh and I’ve never seen him shoot like that uh in a long time I have I I’ve seen him shoot like that uh in in Atlanta had like what 70 71 points it’s been a bit right but but but it’s been a bit I I thought he was going to go for 60 last night tell you the truth that that’s how that’s how hot he was in the first first five minutes I mean like he was out there he took he took the sell out of Minnesota and he took the air out the whole building last night his first five shots everybody was Gass they was like and and in Minnesota the team was like what are we going to do uh guard him 45 the coach the coach doing everybody to guard him the kitchen sink everything but there was no stopping LCA last night he had the tie the eye of the tiger last night he wanted to close this game out at the begin think about this Kyrie Irving had 36 last night and you wouldn’t even know it no but but I’m gonna tell you this after the first 24 that that Luca put in yeah Kyrie started coming along and then just started cruising man they was down 36 think about that they was down in an elimination game in their own building and that’s why I say this look again if you’re a Mavericks fan good for you congratulations well deserved going to the NBA finals all good but for me just a sports fan it was a let down the game stunk I I saw I saw McDaniels when he got subbed out in the first quarter the middle of the first quarter McDaniels was walking to the bench and he was like this yeah dumbfound like what what what what can I do what we going to do go ahead yeah I don’t really think Minnesota really came out and played bad or lat a it was just the fact that luuka just got out to the start that he did and and and obviously nobody thought that that Lely was gonna play either right I thought he was a big difference uh in the in the in the paint for uh for Dallas but when Luca is playing like that man there’s no defense for it I mean what exactly are you going to do and and and on the Minnesota side uh cat and and Anthony Edwards they didn’t get any help from anybody there was one great steal last night I don’t know if you guys I’m sure a lot of you just turned the game off you know 30o deficit essentially at halftime and there was no there was no fight in Minnesota at all which was again very very disappointing but after the game there was a iy at the highest of levels uh you I don’t know if you know even know what I’m alluding to you would have have to watched the entire postgame show that’s what I do because I don’t sleep much but you guys remember Michael Finley of course about I knowly Michael Finley averaged like 20 points a game and his M career had a great career so after the game that’s Luca’s dad and that’s Luca holding the beer watch Michael Finley come take the beer out of Luca’s hands and now that’s my beer okay and Luc is like wait wait right here like be go I am so happy I I I knew that you was going to bring this up and I saw that last night and I said Mike this is typical Mike Finley typical Mike fley no no no he’s not a joker he always looking out for his team he always looking out for his guys he’s saying look if somebody’s watching you on camera sto he he say this what he saying he said somebody watching your camera kids are idolizing you and you drinking a beer this is going to be on social let me take this away from you youy drank that beer himself no no Michael Finley didn’t drink that beer Michael Finley probably told Michael friendly probably told him yo you need to go in the back and and and Away drink but check it out look at L Michael friend when Michael Philly walks off with the beill Luca looks down at like yo man give me my beer backa one more time from the right watch he take it and when Michael Finly walks off looks yo man give me my bill back yeah right here the shrug he’s like okay for a second he like give me my beer I’ll get Micha Finley always looking out for his teammates and he always looking out for his team he understands that you know you shouldn’t be out there not in the hallway where his cameras is at drinking a beer because no no if if if this was the NBA championship and you won a championship it’s fine not now what you GNA do when LCA lights up a cigarette another man’s hand take right out of his mouth but but he could do that when the finals is over but not right now I understand what you what you all saying it’s a th but but genius the mission is not done yeah but it’s so smooth yeah it was smooth that’s a smooth like that was in Rhythm that’s like coming in and nonchalant is taking your drink hey that’s almost like a cardinal Simon you can’t take a beer out of another man’s hand just did I mean blackx when you had the giant Super Bowl celebration after being the Patriots did anybody take any drinks out of your hand you weren drinking beer that’s for sure well I mean they want they won a championship champag they won the championship so but no he he you know where he did it real smooth and that’s the way you supposed to do it but look at look at him looking like looking around we don’t do that in where I’m from but but no but you know what Michael Michael after after he after they went away Michael told him look his cameras around and you can’t be get it honest well that was the uh that was the most controversial play of the night last night in the blowout wind total thievery right there anyhow congratulations again Dallas and Boston next Thursday plenty of time to get The Dallas Mavericks sealed their series with the Minnesota Timberwolves in dominant fashion, and are now heading to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2011. Craig Carton was disappointed with the game, and hoped for a better showing from the Timberwolves.
