[ShamsCharania] Boston’s Kristaps Porzingis (calf) has completed multiple scrimmages in recent days and is expected to return to action for Game 1 of the NBA Finals vs. Dallas on Thursday night barring setback, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Porzingis has been sidelined since April 29.

I’m sure his body will be able to hold up after another lower body injury…..

Here’s to hoping he shoots like mavericks KP. He’s the x-factor, if he shoots bad, our guys will be able to play drop and defend the rim, if he shoots lights out, we cooked lol.

On offense, put him in every pick and roll, he’s never been able to guard those anyways. He’s bbq chicken in the pick and roll. Pretty sure he still has nightmares of what Dame did to him in the bubble.

The guy had a month off to heal because Boston didn’t need him to get through the East. Of course he’s ready to go

So what’s the etiquette on wearing a Prozingis Mavs jersey. My green throwback is a Prozingis and I’m thinking of mothballing it for this series.

  5. Feels like I’ve heard this before but I can’t quite remember where

  6. Here’s to hoping he still takes a few games to shake off the rust when returning from injuries.

Good, let’s see how healthy that calf really is.

He’s going to be at least a little rusty for the first 2-3 games especially with how intense the finals are. Let’s beat Boston at full strength

They had such a cake walk and got so lucky with opposing injuries. I can’t get over what a shit show the east was with injuries. Must be nice to face each team without their best players

If he was relatively healthy, why didn’t they let him play against the pacers to shake off some rust, everything was already set in the stone by game 2-3

  11. They really need to try to make him work on the defensive end.

  12. I aint gonna lie.. this celtics team is stacked. legit all 5 starters are going to be 30 million a year contract guys

It won’t be easy, especially now that KP is coming back, but I believe in this team. We fought hard, we’ll keep fighting hard.
