Asked Luka Doncic if the long layoff between games has helped with the recovery of his knee/ankle. He said “it didn’t get any better,” but it’s been great to have some rest.

Why do we need not only everyone’s opinion on something, but then also everyone’s opinion on everyone else’s opinion? Worst part of the internet imo, I didn’t like first take back in the day because it was too many hot takes so I wouldn’t watch/pay attention to skip bayless and Stephen A and that was fine with me, but now I feel like I know every single talking heads’ opinion on everything going on in the league
This idea that there is beef between Luka-KP or between KP-Dallas is just bizarre. Luka and KP never seemed like buddies but they clearly had a solid professional relationship with very little if any drama. The only toxicity in this series is between Kyrie and Boston fans.
KP’s time in Dallas might be dissapointing but that is due to his injuries not b/c he didnt care. 2020 KP was very fun to watch and showed that if he could have stayed healthy here – he and Luka could have competed for a title together. Unfortunately the meniscus injury + covid shortened season derailed his rehab and their on-court chemistry.

Honestly I don’t think there was any beef between Luka and KP ever. It seems like if KP had beef with anyone in Dallas it was Rick Carlisle considering how often we got reports about him being frustrated with his role on the team.
