I mean I watched these 2004 guys and that defense was legendary. But it would be a close game, Steph, Klay, KD and Dray would be lots of offense.

Warriors are a nightmare matchup for the 04 Pistons. Teams were just built different, in 04 defending bigs were a must to be a championship team but in today’s game having Ben on the floor would be a liability. If he stays in the post he’s essentially guarding no one so the warriors can just rotate the ball around until someone opens up, and he wouldn’t be able to switch. Having said that, I think any of the championship warriors teams would have a harder time with the early 00s Lakers than the Pistons did.
04 was the Pacers year. Detroit was 1-3 against them.

The truth is that GSW Couldn’t play the with the 04 Pistons. They can’t guard anybody….Lindsay Hunter would stifle Steph, Corliss could break KD, Draymond would be a non factor, the whole Pistons team was gritty every player
