the bucks already had a problem with depth. this would only make it way worse

  2. Suspicious_Team_9133

Spacing bad, also worried about butler’s health

  3. Giannis and Butler is such an awful pairing of two non shooters

  4. jowczarski

Any theories with the words “combination” of players is basically moot — the Bucks aren’t / cannot aggregate players as currently set up.

  5. Cantguard-mike

Ya I’m good on Jimmy. The bucks have one big/solid trade left. Let’s not waste it on getting even older

  6. FlipMoBitch

Giannis misses too many playoff games for me to feel comfortable doing this

  7. the_godfaubel

The Bucks need a young defensive wing that can give them 15 to 20 points per night. Of course, those are going to be too expensive for the Bucks to acquire as there aren’t many available as is. So getting a “dream” off-season this year is unlikely

If you said this four years ago I would have said yes but he’s not worth losing Khris for at this point. Neither one can stay on the court

Whoever wrote that doesn’t watch basketball. Let’s trade almost all of our young talent, Bobby the fan favorite, and (yes i am biased but) one of the most under-appreciated & *loyal* players in the league in K-Mid to South Beach for someone that has just as good of a chance at getting hurt and missing time. I also don’t want the player that was loudly complaining the most that Dame came to MKE, so much that he made a personality out of it for meme sakes.

You think Giannis wants to send the one guy on this roster that has quite literally been here with him since the *beginning* to Miami for…..Jimmy Butler? I would honestly love to see how hard this proposal would make Giannis laugh; I can basically already hear the “hell no man!”. All I can really say is:

I want Khris Middleton, Aj Green and Ajax to stay so they better not get rid of them. Bobby + Marjon + some more maybe ig but I love Bobby but we don’t use Marjon anyway so it makes sense for him to be the young guy that goes.

  11. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Their season was as expected considering the context.
    1. No offseason together
    2. Hiring of an inexperienced HC who clearly polarized the team and/or staff
    3. Middleton ramping up off injury for half the season only to then be injured for another month+
    4. Firing of a coach and utilizing of interim coach
    5. Hiring of doc and different assistants
    6. Giannis injury
    7. Roster that was constructed around holiday giannis and khris and didn’t provide enough perimeter defense

Look at Luka and Kyrie. Mavs won 18 of 27 games their first season together. Pretty sure of the 16 games they both played together they won 5…
It’s not easy being thrown into a turbulent situation like that.

IM 100% POSITIVE that our bucks win 60 next season.

At some time you have to stop robbing Peter to pay Paul. For fuck’s sake……

  13. Shablagoosh

I’ve always been a Jimmy butler fan living in mke and also chicago for a bit so obviously I’d love to be able to see him in person in mke again. However, is anyone else really annoyed by constant fantasy scenarios and trade ideas and “who I think we should draft” posts? I know sports media gotta make money but fucks sake it really ruins any sports subs for me during the entire off seasons.

  14. JustAnotherDay1977

Love Jimmy, but the Bucks need younger talent.

  15. InterwebVergin

On top of everything else, why would Miami do this?

  16. Bro Miami would not trade Jimmy like that hahaha what a bad take

  17. Neat_Translator_5339

I am tired of seeing Portis in the trade talks. You guys see what trading Jrue got us?!

  18. No-Walk4804

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the bucks ask Giannis about trading Middleton for Jimmy before the 2018-2019 season and he said no? We need competent and consistent role players, not a gutted roster and another year of awkward chemistry around our stars.

  19. Look, I’m a Jimmy Butler hater, and I might have entertained this idea before the Emo Jimmy haircut but that’s gonna make it a no from me dawg

  20. FridayNight_Magus

Jimmy is hurt all the time too. It’s a no for me.

  21. Regular-Grab9

In no world would miami trade with bucks after they sniped dame from them lmao

  22. happy0444

I dont think they would give us Jimmy for Beauochamp.

  23. LongjumpingButton487

No we need to keep the young guys. We’re old enough already

  24. Glad_Friend2676

I gotta be real honest, Jimmy is probably my top 5 most dislike players. From a basketball standpoint, he’s quite old, regressing, not a good shooter, we also have to give up some youths and depths for it

  25. Wallyworld77

Jimmy Buckets for Kha$h and Bobby? Where TF do I sign up??? Miami would NEVER do this fucking trade. I don’t even want to hear Khris’ name in Trade Rumors until there is Ink to Paper. Khris is a Buck for life unless Horst can pull another superstar like Jimmy Butler. Jimmy carried that shitty team all the way to the finals last year. Zero chance they trade him their fanbase would have a come apart same way we would if we traded Giannis.

  26. Mister-Lavender

I had actually wondered if Heat would still trade some combination of their younger talent for Lillard. I’d hate to give up on Dame after one frustrating season, but it feels like we need more depth, and I’m not sure how else we are going to get it.

  27. Literally the last person I want on the team is Butler
