Antonio Spurs fans welcome to TSR Sports I recently did a poll on our Channel and the results to say at least were a bit surprising to me let’s start off with the first one a Spurs Draft one of these guards which one do you want and Stefon Castle overwhelmingly out of our 2400 votes won this poll 50% I thought it would be much much closer between him and Rob Dillingham but no you guys have spoken and you’re saying Castle’s the way to go it rounds out with topic and Shep and I be remiss if I don’t mention this now Nicole topic potential top five Prospect in this draft has been diagnosed with a partially torn ACL on his left knee wow I did see his agent told ESPN that toit’s draft talk is likely to not be significantly impacted I think it will be how much I don’t know could he fall out of the lottery this is before the injury was announced man you a lot of people voted I mean at one time toage is a player that Spurs fans wanted at four I don’t I don’t want him at eight I’m sorry but two knee injuries in the same year now a partially torn aing we’re going to have you’re going to have that Community the group that says hey this is great draft topage at eight send him on the bench for the year kind of like Chet hogm tank again in 20125 it’s a better draft class anyway TSR I get where you’re coming from don’t think I’m not that being said I’ve seen enough of Victor wama in one year with the Spurs and tanking ain’t G to be okay with him I all signs point to he wants to win every time they won he celebrated he went nuts and when they’re losing he just oozed literally oozed frustration disappointment maybe anger whatever it was it was just so visible on his face when things were not going right for San Antonio which was more often than not last season he was not happy not to mention at this point Spurs fans he’s just too darn good he played so well after the All-Star right continue to get better and better and better I think next season this team will probably win anywhere from 35 to 41 games and maybe more if we trade for a point guard or if we draft the point guard and he just turns out to be an absolute stud in year one bu SPS fans I know you’re excited about next year’s draft the tank is over with wemy it was a one season thing I fully believe it’s done we’re looking at playing at least next year let’s hope my land gets number one pick overall okay anyway back to this personally if the Spurs Draft Castle or dilling I’m okay with it I I’m sorry I’m done with topich then I’m just done I know you could also counter with with TSR he’s young don’t worry about it we’ve got a player on our roster right now Charles Bassy who’s had two season ending knee injuries two years in a row type of stuff worries me devel has had two different not the same season ending injuries two years in a row I I just can’t I no so listen Castle draft a fourth I’m all in maybe this poll is a little inaccurate maybe my girlfriend way to vote for Castle like 1500 times I don’t know it’s certainly possible she’s a big Yukon fan but you guys want castle and look I’m I’m all in sure why not the other poll and this is likely going to be our eighth pick overall was for a Ford Wing whatever you want to call it and went 1100 Vats on that one I it’s a close race but I was very surprised to see a fellow Frenchman for Wendy Johan sonan coming out at top Ron Holland right behind him at 30% I thought bual would be more in the running he’s back there 25 and Cody Williams apparently nobody wants him I don’t know if it’s because I used a different PNG that’s what I found but Salon up there I you know if this draft happened if the Spurs did take castle and Salon or Castle in Holland sure um listen whatever happens happens we talked last night and the night before about the Spurs maybe trading the fourth and eighth pick for the first overall pick don’t think that’s going to happen I do think my man the Dix mentioned I think Atlanta’s going to go partial rebuild move on from Dej Murray move on from clink capella try to get some trade you know some draft picks back through through those trades in draft Alexander SAR probably SAR I don’t see him taking race the have wings I I think they want replacement if they’re going to start S Center D I don’t think they’re going for rebuild I think they’re going to keep Trey young far as the Spurs the fourth and eighth pick is still good we’re rolling the dice on two guys two guys that could be legit helpful maybe even immediately to this team I want to close out with this since we’re here I was a little surprised that this too now granted this poll is much younger if you will and the other two it just released this morning but I asked yall who would you rather see win in the finals the Mavericks or Celtics and I figured that Celtics would be winning this poll not that there’s Celtics fans on this channel or a lot of Spurs fans are Celtics fans per se but I figured be rooting for Derek white in rooting against the instate rival in the Dallas Mavericks the team that tends to whoop her butt three to four times every year I was totally wrong they got more than two-thirds of the vote so maybe there’s some Texas loyalty here I wasn’t aware of you’re like hey you know what the Spurs aren’t in it well I Cary LIF the Dallas Mavericks and hope a Texas team was it that way I know a few people have mentioned the rooting against the Celtics because they have more Champion like I think they have six championships since was it like 19 1990 we have five and so there were just one behind us I or one ahead of us I don’t know what the math is there but this is surprising me yall know I see Derek white get ring nobody anybody Derek white and uh that’s all I got here I do want to ask you a question for those of you that have talked about the audio on the channel does the audio sound better I have bought a uh a soundbox I’m not sure what you call it it’s got sound absorbing styrofoam I got my mic in it I out a little bit I think it sounded better but I think it’s always better to ask a third party are you hearing less Echo cuz that was driving me crazy you guys are always generous by coming to the live streams and watching the videos and super chats whatever it may be I like you know let me put some money to the channel try to make things sound better the one thing that sucks is this box is actually quite huge it’s like a foot tall and a foot wide so it’s really really big right here and when I do the draft and things with Miss TSR I guess she just not going be able to see I mean I’m just kidding well figure out a way to move it and and have everybody able to see what’s going on but I’m hoping the sound sounds better because the one thing that I hate to see on the channel as so many comments man this sounds really bad today I don’t take it personally please please you guys let me know that but it disappoints me like man I really take pride in putting out hopefully good content for everybody to enjoy and have a discussion on and if I’m sound on all like McDonald’s drive-thru then that’s not good for anybody anyway please let me know in the comments down below the mic My son goes for Celtics so I’m going for them and for d white, and I can’t believe people are still talking about tanking, this draft will help us a lot I think.
Who cares about Castle. Knecht is a much better player and will be there at # 8. Spurs need to draft best available at 4 and Knecht at the 8th pick.

The sound does sound better even from just a few videos ago. That draft would be ok. I feel like Castle isn’t a true point gaurd, and we’d just be drafting another Vassell. As for Salaun he’s probably going to be in Austin most of the season. His potential is off the charts, and hopefully he turns into this great player some people think he can be. I watch clips of him being strong hitting threes, then missing point blank layups and turning the ball over. As for the play in, I think this team is still far away especially if things the draft they have. I mean the warriors were in the bottom play in team and they won 46 games. I know Vic is frustrated with losing, but I think it’s because he can’t win the games all by himself like he was doing in the French league.
I haven't really thought about Salaun but given his age, mobility and size I would love for San Antonio to draft him if we go for a guard at 4. At 6'9" tall at 18 he probably will grow another 2 inches and be similar to Kevin Durant given his love for the 3 pointer.
With the Topic issue, I'm fully for trading 4th and 8th pick for 1st or 2nd pick, taking Sarr or Risacher.
We keep working with Trey Jones at least one more year and, if Topic is available for our 2nd round pick, we take him there.
I see Shep being a better playmaker and higher offensive ability than Castle.
Castle does have his defensive prowess to stabilize his game while he improves as a shooter.
If they go pg/sg hybrid, they choose Sheppard.
It's like going for #2 never will happen. I have go for Mavs.

I was slowly swayed into this same choice by watching highlight footage of both.
Easy pass on Risacher and Dillingham if we can snag Castle and Salaun.
Risacher jump shot looks like it won't translate to NBA competition. Very stiff set shots. Takes a while to get into his shooting motion.
Salaun has athleticism and tenacity when in the paint. I see him as a upgrade over Risacher. I just hope other teams sleep on the kid and he becomes a Spur with castle.
The 2025 draft is going to be loaded, one more year to set the Spurs for years would be worth it. Can someone tell me what team won the NBA championship one year after they selected a generational player? If we have a chance to draft Flagg next year it would be worth it.
I mean drafting Salaun makes sense, since Spurs might consider playing Sochan off the bench with Salaun being the PF long term.
These are the 2 guys I like at 4 and 8. But that assumes no trades for either a PG (or wing).

I soured on Stephen Castle with reporting of him refusing to work out for teams that have point guards and his statement that he is a point guard. I'm thinking he could be a bad locker-room presence on whatever team drafts him.
Celtics don’t have more rings than the Spurs since 1999. What are you saying TSR?

Castle and Holland or Sheppard and Holland probably, with Topic, Williams, and Salaun interesting prospects to consider at #8 too. God I hated Dillingham coming in at only 164 lbs.
Depending who's the best available at 8, I would rather have Cody at 8.
With the talent available in this draft nobody is a sure bet. Some of these guys are going to flourish but it’s a crap shoot was to who.
After the Primo and Samanic fiasco I don't think I could place blame on the Spurs for any bad selection this year. If they pass over anyone and a couple years down the road thy become a Jokic or Doncic no one would have been able to predict that by the way they played before they were drafted right now. Hopefully if that does happen it's the players the Spurs selected.
Sup brother. I respect your opinion but i still have feeling we will be tanking next year. Maybe get25-30 wins but still tanking. The class has multiple franchises players and im sure the Spurs wont waste that opportunity. However, i would be happy if we are competing next year. In the end, we both just want the best for the Spurs. Either or, im fine with it. Go Spurs Go!
I agree Castle and Salaun are definitely my preference. I have a feeling Salaun will be the better forward in the draft.
