with that we have some interesting odds obviously we’ve been following I mean the whole year Boston has had the best odds but I don’t think many people predicted the Mavericks would be here and anything I I’m going give you credit it seems like anything we say or you say ends up being like a super crazy narrative somewhere else and I’m saying all that to say folks are saying that Luca and Kyrie might be the best backourt duo of all time and in saying that how are you seeing their odds matched up against the Celtics for this year’s finals I think when you have a dynamic duo like that you seen it face to face pause when when LeBron and Kyrie came in they averaging 80 for games like sometimes shoot like I said the jimmies and Joe’s gonna Trump the X’s and O’s but I think to a certain extent they’re going to have to play at that high level and it’s not like vers a Twan Duo the others for Boston Celtics are very very good almost to a point where we’re like we’ll complain about what Jason T’s doing he’s getting his 29 Points out the way I just think like one thing that they did do that helped them well was they finished off the series quick and they had like two weeks break so LC can really rest his knee but I also was out there bro January 24th I took my daughter to the game Boston versus Dallas in Boston I mean in Dallas and Boston Celtics blew them out and Jason had 40 and it wasn’t even a believable game the match up was just too much granted this is before the Grant Williams stade but they would have to damn near be on every night and be at special in my personal opinion as Kyrie and LeBron were back in 2016 when they won yeah they had another Hall of Famer there too that they don’t like giving enough credit to which is Kevin Love but I digress on uh favorite by six and a half points um with over under total score of 214 a half which is super interesting Boston is favored to win the series at a minus 210 Dallas is uh plus 175 and then there’s so many uh correct scor Series winner uh odds with uh Celtics winning 41 Celtics winning 42 Celtics winning 40 and then the Celtics winning 41 as well as on the other end for the Mavericks you remember back in the day I think I said on a pod I I text Tatum and told him yo I can’t wait until you and Luca play in the finals one day we miss these conversations we should record these conversations more often Luca versus Tatum it was man bro it was one unbelievable to see where to I I text Tatum and said yo I can’t wait to see y’all play in the finals one day yeah is going to be unbelievable because like those two dudes are so cold yeah unreal and now it’s getting to the point where I think they’re starting to become aware of each other yeah so like gloves are kind of starting to come off in my opinion from a distance so I think it’s starting going from like being all this pretty [ __ ] to being like all right we’re gonna see a battle every single time I’m talking about like some new like 40 like both kids are going to go get 45 and then some like a batt we getting back to circling the calendar again and we I think we lost that and we’re getting back to it yes go ahead go ahead do your thing I feel as though just as a fan how you say like you retired you can be a fan I think I’m at a point now in my life where I this part of the NBA is going to make me as jit like jittery and as happy as I was when I was a little kid watching it got a question for you yeah why are people saying I heard someone speak to um why are folks saying that the way that Boston got rid of um Indiana and the way that Dallas got rid of Minnesota it’s too big of a gap going into the finals and it kind of kills some steam like that hype going into the finals like I don’t think so but but maybe I don’t know something cuz I’m a basketball like fan fan yeah no I I think you might know too much when you sit still you like you’ll sit back and go your War days and like man two weeks going into the finals you know what I mean both teams like it the hype it’ll be there once the game sets up because everybody’s gonna be healed happy healthy and Full Throttle to go like it is what it is like ideally eight days without NBA basketball is pure hell but at the same time like bro those games were exciting this whole year you know what I mean at very least what I could say moving forward if you get swapped too early like I said prior to or gentleman sweep I feel as though the Pacers and Timberwolves should still be playing a four game series for third place you know what I mean or a five game series for third in between in between and I just feel like that’s an Unwritten rule because it’s like n it’s is even when you go to like some of uh the heavyweight fights if certain fights get done too quick they have like some backup fights you know what I mean or or or the top two seeds or the top two lottery winners so don’t even announce oh the lottery winner don’t announce a lottery winner it say you go all the way from what did they in the lottery they go from 10 to one go from go from 13 to three and then the last two these are the last two teams so who who who’s there is Atlanta and who got the second pick who did get that second pick um some somebody bad got it man this draft bad what they say I think somebody let the Lakers keep they pick you like you can have that piece of [ __ ] like like we don’t want the first one by the time we get to the 17 DC got the second pick point forward I’m actually this is a good series because this is one of those Series where um I’ll be happy with wh whomever wins you know how you guys get the series like please don’t let them win mean maybe that’s a competitor to me and I’m no longer playing but I want to see certain people win on both sides yeah absolutely I obviously I’m going for the Celtics but then like [ __ ] it’s like man if Tatum if if Irving Kyrie wins I like that for a different reason and if Luca wins man I like that for a different reason because uh I’m I’m obsessed with these background stories G like just even where Luca comes from where Kyrie comes from when you break down where Tatum comes from Jaylen Brown it’s like these are some beautiful Stories being written and unraveling that is uh unreal even when you saw Luca backstage when he was having a beer after the game he standing next to his dad and it’s like he chilling he come out he pretty much just in all his elimination games he go straight for the Gusto and I want to be like what what did he teach him growing up where this dude is just like this like do you understand what I’m saying is like you I mention a Edwards going at KD it’s like bro these some dangerous boys they playing with G and it’s like they don’t scare you yeah he sitting back having a brusi like [ __ ] is it I just won me a Euro League at 18 it’s time to get this other one like they said like does is this an Andre Agy disposition where he don’t know or like but it’s just unbelievable seeing being like you look at Tatum like you look at when we talk to him we see videos from when he’s 11 years old and he’s living out his dream now it’s like man these dudes is built they built different bro these little boy these these dudes is build type different it’s kind of maybe what I’m sure Bri and know was like that too in our day and I was too close to it but these these young is built different yeah but it’s funny because we spoke before on the young guys young players in general our younger generation where they all believe that they’ve made it and the issues with it and so you I mean you got to have a certain type of confidence to you like you how do you know that’s the one that should be doing it versus the one that should be shouldn’t be doing it but I don’t know I heard about Tatum from my god brother when he was in high school like Jason Tatum was gonna be like he gonna run the league at some point like someone told me this and I don’t just hear that every day so you know there exception to every Rule and certainly it was him but I’m looking forward to the finals I think it’s going to be amazing I’ll be at game two yeah it’s just a lot of star power man even Jason kid what he’s been doing like yes you think of Coach Jason kid he’s a Hall of Fame player like think about him being a coach and switching over and it’s like bro they always say foreign players struggle to coach but like he didn’t want a couple games with adjustments knowing when to call time out like really you know what I mean and then at the same time being able to trust his players to go kill and I’ve spoken to this before um no I think not publicly but like a week or two ago maybe it’s last week I said to someone I’m really interested to see J kid and Missoula go head-to-head and you know from what perception may be whether it’s true or not you know and how his style is and how he likes to adjust or lack thereof and how Jay kid has been a mastermind and just figuring it out no matter what series he’s been in as a coach that matchup is gonna be because you know they’re gonna dissect that as well but two two African-American coaches in the finals I don’t know if that’s how many times it’s happened not two this the second time it’s the second time so super excited about that I mean uh I don’t know if I can root for that but I am rooting for that um but so you know it’s going to be I feel like you have two teams who deserve to win it and that’s the ultimate scenario and shout out to my man Brad Stevens man what he doing right now too arguably one of perimeter and and TP we would have put in a blender um in terms of his size a young T his size his size I mean KD KD I don’t think people understand the cheat code that KD was you have to just really about if they only scoring 8 some points right like the big thing was like they would have to figure out how to keep us within the 80s and our bench has has really been underrated like you don’t really hear too much about our bench and the stuff we did so Sean Livingston myself Barbosa uh or even David R whichever crew you want to pick um our bench was really set up for like clay like we had so many different lineups that we can use like I saw one lineup Klay wasn’t in I saw another one we had a lineup where like uh like I was in for Draymond maybe like we had so many interesting lineups and then they keep forgetting about Zaza yeah he got the head of the crew in terms of like his toughness like so Zaza would have been been a great matchup for the Pistons and javil actually was really good for us like javil sign I think he might have bag like 20 million 25 million since he left us like that 2019 20 no jav might have back like 40 million since he left us and that’s when his he went on Olympic gold medal too he got Olympic gold medal so you know people tend to forget about they think about you know the core which is what you should think about but we we we had a really good bench
