Legs wtf??? I thought he knew basketball lmao

  2. HeroOfSevenEleven

It’s going to be very interesting having companies that are simultaneously sports books and major media outlets. Feels like that could end up being a conflict of interests lol

  3. Legitimate_Record_49

Also unbelievable that they pick kyrie more to have a chance to be the fmvp than jaylen brown if ever they win.

  4. Dammit_Dereck

Yet the narrative will be that we choked if we don’t win.

Lmao it’s kind of incredible that a 64 win team with an all time point differential, who outplayed Dallas during their best stretch of the season, that hasn’t had a series go beyond 5, is in the finals for the second time in 3 years against a much easier matchup, and has 5 players you could convince me compete for all star spots next year is somehow being handed bulletin board material.

Legit everything is in the Celtics favor aside from not having the best player, something they’ve been winning series in spite of for Tatum and Brown’s whole careers. Worth pointing out, Luka who is just going to somehow be too much for Boston has been just as inefficient as Tatum for only 3 more points while catching none of the criticism.

    Celtics in 5.

    Screw’Em!!!

    Celtics vs The World!

    Celtics in 6!!!

  7. I would love to hear some of these experts rational for their picks

  8. Sendrocity

The celtics hate is unreal. Legs has been the only one to consistently pick the Mavs in these predictions. ESPN overwhelmingly picked the Mavs to lose vs OKC and the Wolves, but not Boston.

Also lol at OP saying Boston is the “underdog”

  9. Ya, I’m seeing a lot of the discourse and I’m just like, what? Any analysis I’ve seen, or looked at myself, points to this being a very favorable match up for the Celtics in terms of x’s on o’s, and that’s even before considering a pretty wide disparity in overall talent level. I think its a whole lot of wishful thinking from a Celtics hating and from a marketing standpoint rather than legitimate thoughts about the series. I’m hoping the Celtics pull ahead early in this first game and never look back, and I think that’s realistic.

The world is not ready for this to be a gentleman’s sweep 🧹

  11. bootyholebrown69

The media is so fucking unashamedly biased lol. How is a 64 win team that’s 12-2 in the playoffs gonna be the underdog

  12. milestone121

Our team thrives on being treated as underdogs I love it let’s gooooo 🍀🍀🍀🍀

  13. objectively we’re not the underdog here, it’s just that these so-called “experts” are fucking morons

like i’m pissed off about this doublethink, “the Celtics losing is a huge choke but I think the Mavs will win” bs, but we ARE the favorites

  14. justiceway1

The fact that a 64 win team that went 12-2 in the playoffs and who are currently healthy is somehow now the underdog against the 5th seed is proof of how powerful sports media is. I can’t say I hate it though, this way after they lose they can’t say the Celtics had an easy path

  15. Evening-Dream-5750

I agree- it’s sweet to be the underdog. Can’t wait to prove this clowns wrong!!! Let’s go Cs

  16. CarlosAlcatrazIsland

Look at the betting odds with people putting $ on the lines

  17. Celtics play better as underdogs anyway. Keep them fired up. All these haters out there aint ready for what they’re about to witness.

  18. Celtics could’ve won every game this season, and they would still doubt them to win the championship

  19. TheRealKane24

Vegas still us has as a pretty big favorite, Mavs would be 3rd biggest underdog to win since the merger. The media is sick of Boston

  20. Hogo-Nano

What’s more incredible to me is that none of the experts who picked the celtics chose jaylen brown as the finals MVP even though he just won the Conference finals mvp and has been better than tatum in these playoffs.

  21. joebos617

it’s very strange how all the data out there from nerd stats to Vegas odds is saying Celtics in 4-5 and most media people look at that and go “nah the vibes say Mavs in 7”

  22. Everyone who actually knows ball has picked the Celtics. Except Bobby Marks lol.

  23. HyperactiveBaldMonk

Only guys who’s opinions are valid are Legler and Lowe. Disappointed to see Legler going for the Mavs but understandable given he’s a Mavs guy.

  24. TheDirewolf04

These are the same “experts” who picked the knicks to beat the pacers. Every single one picked them

  25. LivingMemento

ESPN loves knowing most of their audience is in the Northeast and will lap this BS up like Pavlov’s dog.

  26. iamgarron

    We still aren’t the underdog.

We have home court and are significantly favoured by vegas

  27. Culinary-Vibes

    I’m loving it.

Let the team feed on the hate and disrespect, baby!

  28. _mitchard

You know who else loves being an underdog? Jaaayyylleeennnn Brrroooowwwwnnnnnnn

  29. Arturo_Binewski

Their “picks” are designed to get clicks, shares, tweets, views etc on their content. That is how they get evaluated by their employer and how they get paid. If they are consistently wrong with their “picks” there is little to no accountability.
