Utah Jazz Unveil New Uniforms: A Look at the 2024-25 Rebrand

the Jersey I’m wearing right now is technically outdated but it’s not at the same time stay tuned to learn why this jersey is kind of in between outdated Utah Jazz dropped some really big news today and I’m in a hotel so I don’t have my normal backdrop but the Jazz are rebranding finally to the purple so excited they just announced four new jerseys today I couldn’t be even more excited I wanted purple back for a while now even though I did support the yellow jerseys I have this Jersey and I have the black and yellow Jersey but not the full yellow Jersey I feel like I just have a big Jazz supporter so whatever they drop I’ll buy I know I fall into that trap the Jazz just announced a whole new slate and they look great uh the Jazz seem to be taking on a Rebrand around Mountain basketball all four of these jerseys implement the mountains which I really like I really like how they represent Utah where these these look cool these these cam look cool I know a lot of people absolutely hate them some people are okay with them I’m one of those okay with them my biggest thing with them is that they didn’t represent Utah at all and two it’s been two years since they announced these and so I think we kind of uh won uh we kind of bullied Ryan Smith into rebranding again back to purple uh because uh the Jazz were most successful when they wore those Purple Mountain jerseys which is slightly what lry marinin is wearing uh one thing I want to add on is these aren’t just purple they have a little bit of powder blue in them now is it to represent the Darren Williams age of powder blue or is this powder blue or is this powder blue have to do with the new hockey team using this kind of powder blue color as well and having them mesh together cuz Ryan Smith owns both of them I think it’ be a cool nod but it also adds to this uh one of the jerseys we did see last year uh or the city Jersey last year but it has that touch of outline of blue on it the reason why this jersey is not irrelevant yet is because they’re going to use it for next season and also the black one until the end of December it just has to do with contracts with Nike like they have to use it for a certain x amount of time and Ryan Smith is kind of use has to use that legally but we did see a complete go away of the full yellow Jersey which I actually I did not like that one at all uh the one I’m most excited to see how it turns out is is the black statement Jersey this one looks like nothing that jazz has seen before it does have the um this on it but but with mountains in the background and it’s black we haven’t seen a black mountain jersey yet so I’m super stoked for that I think Jersey swapped on Instagram made a really cool post with Larry marinin in that Jersey and looks looks great I also want to say like the the photo of all four of them wearing the jerseys is that like the Jazz silently saying these are our Untouchables I know they released four jerseys so they wouldn’t have more but the Scott lry marketing Keon Taylor Hendrick and Walker kler on it is that them silently saying these are are Untouchable guys I think we can say as a jazz fan base the majority of us that the Jazz had one of the worst rebrands in NBA history they are now having one of the best rebrands in NBA history which is kind of crazy uh we no longer have the worst jerseys in the NBA although I do have these jerseys I do have to admit they probably were the least uh best ones I think maybe the Cavaliers with how minimalistic they are but even then actually I’m going to have to say I think my least jerseys in the NBA or the Wizards there’s something about them I just don’t like the Wizards the Wizards are just an awful franchise in general anyways kind of a quick video uh I give these a 9.5 out of 10 on the Rebrand the 05 is because we had to wait so long to uh see these the the oh the two that we have to wait for until 2025 to 2026 season are the association Edition and the icon Edition so we’re going have to wait another year to see that purple that we had last year in action again luckily I bought that one but I left it at my parents house so it might be a minute before I get that I would be wearing that right now but this is the only Jersey I have with me so anyway guys this is sp sp 17 uh make sure to check out my video about why I’m going to Finland I’m super excited to make a documentary there everyone have a wonderful night or day whenever you’re watching this and go jazz
