Not saying he’s going turn into Tingus but if it wasn’t obvious before that Sarr is worth the swing (especially in what’s considered to be a weak draft) it should be now after game 1. If we don’t take this kid and he even lives up to half of his potential I’m going to be livid. There’s a reason they call these guys unicorns and we lucked into a position to potentially get our own. I’d much rather take him and it not work out than potentially watch him become one of the leagues most valuable players somewhere else.

I just want Sarr man because if he pans out and we don’t take him I feel like I’ll have to be done with this team lol.

Watching the playoffs this season has me wanting Alex Sarr even more. I’m fully expecting the Hawks FO to fuck it up. I PRAY I’m wrong but I don’t trust them.

  3. I don’t think Sarr is going to have any where near the polish that Porzingis has offensively. Not hating, I just don’t have that much faith in Sarr’s shot mechanics or his touch on his jumpers. He has a lot of bad misses.

I think where Sarr excels is defensively, particularly his mobility in space.

  4. Whoever we draft number one has to win Rookie of the Year. He has to have an automatic impact. I’m tired of rebuild & chill. We need to keep swinging for the fences. No more standing still.

Sarrs pre draft NBL stats don’t look like that lmao, he barely broke 12 minutes because he was with Perth to prep for the NBA. Either way dude has been practicing and developing with Adults which should make his jump to the nba a bit cleaner
