Why is it every trade they propose is us giving the franchise away for the privilege of existing in the league? According to BR, we’re the feeder/farm system for the rest of the NBA. And we should be grateful for it as well. 🤬

The Pacers can’t trade their 2028 first anyways, since the 2026 first traded to the Raptors is protected. If the 2026 first doesn’t convey, then it gets converted to a 2027 first, which would make the 2028 first ineligible for trade.
The soonest first the pacers can trade is 2029.

Basically trading 1 of our 3 point guards + 2 players who didn’t sniff the court this postseason + picks for a top 60 player in their prime with the exact skill set we need. Works for me.
