The Raptors Could Target The SHOCK Return Of Kyle Lowry In Free Agency
the greatest Raptor of all time Kyle Larry is hitting for agency and it just so happens the Raptors are in desperate need of point guard depth so could the Raptors actually end up signing Larry in this offseason or any offseason before the players’s retirement let’s get into it yes we’re starting to get into the thick of things as far as it comes to rumors regarding who the Raptors are going to be bringing in in the offseason whether it be in the draft whether be through trades and of course through free agency and one player that Raptors fans are very much looking at right now is former Raptor the greatest Raptor of all time Kyle Larry because his contract is up it was the sign and trade contract from the Raptors to the Miami Heat I guess technically the Raptor signed him on this contract got sent to Miami Heat was making about $30 million per year and unfortunately kyari was just never really the player Miami needed him to be he was always effective he was always a good player like we know what Kyle brings if anybody knows what Kyle L brings to the court it’s Raptor fans and a lot of the time Kyle l impact on the floor can’t really be measured by statistics but it’s pretty clear as ky’s aging he wasn’t quite the player that he needed him to be that being said he was still the starter on a team that made the Conference Finals he was still the starter on a team that made the NBA finals and in the most recent season was the starter on the 76ers who lost in the first round of the playoffs and hey had they had a better matchup in the first round if Joel embiid hadn’t gotten injured through the season who knows how far they could have gotten and who knows what sort of role Kyler would have had along the way because again he was starting for that team so clearly he can still impact winning clearly he is still a good player but are the Raptors is going to be able to get in a position to bring him into the team that’s what we’re going to figure out over the course of the video right here on amateur sports 2 this is our second Channel where we do additional Raptors content in videos like this it’s stuff that I don’t feel needs my full production for the main channel mhr sports with over 177,000 subs so we can do so in videos just like this one drop a like if you enjoy and make sure you subscribe to the channel for more Raptors content like this throughout the offseason so Kyle Larry is unfortunately going to likely be a decently hot commodity in the off season I don’t think he’s going to be getting a big contract but it already appears as though teams are going to be interested in the player for starters the Lakers may go after Kyle Lowry in fre agency According to some reports multiple report suggested Lakers are interested and this trade this makes a whole lot of sense this pickup makes a whole lot of sense the Lakers could use maybe some additional shooting but they could definitely use a bit more of a leadership figure as well within the team I know they’ve got LeBron maybe the best one but adding in that injection of leadership somebody who’s been there somebody who’s won an NBA championship it could just be massive for that team as well as the 76ers you know trying to get over the hump here with Joel embiid they also have interest in bringing Kyle Larry back because you he was starting there he still has the value despite perhaps the drop in statistics you know where were well removed of his six straight All-Star Seasons but he’s still getting plenty of game time he’s still shooting high 30s low 40s from three and even though it’s not high volume anymore it’s still effective towards winning he’s one of the best floor generals he reads the game incredibly well incredible basketball IQ a good Defender and he can hit threes he can hit pull-up threes which is massive for a team like potentially the Los Angeles Lakers so what I’m getting at here kyar is still very effective towards winning maybe not very effective he’s still effective towards winning therefore I don’t really see why he would return to the Raptors I mean I have the complete respect of kyari in this endeavor he served the city well won a championship the greatest Raptor of all time like I said should get his number retired honestly build a statue for this guy and I think he’s likely to end up in the in the in the Basketball Hall of Fame one day but he’s got his ring he’s out looking for another one the Raptor just not in a position to be able to do that and if he does come to the team he’s likely playing as a backup role I think he can still get a starter role somewhere else it’s kind of funny he can go to a better team competing for a championship and maybe get a starting role whereas if he came to the Raptors who are just hoping to make the playoffs he probably would be coming off the bench I mean I guess you’d play yeah I guess you have to play quickly at the two and Larry would start gry dick coming off the Ben youd kind of have to do that with Kyle Lowry but I guess you would still start anyways I think you kind of understand my point here he still impacts winning he still gets the best out of his teammates around him so good teams are going to be interested in the player but if you remember from the intro I spoke about is there a potential for Kyle Lowry to ever play meaningful minutes for the Raptors at any point could he come back to the team at some point well when Kyle L left the team he said he would retire a raptor that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going to come back for you know actual games it could be he signs a one-day contract before retire so he can retire as a raptor I don’t never really understood why that’s such a big deal but hey he wants to retire Raptor I’d prefer if he played some more games for Toronto but look it’ll be a one-day contract or whatever in in the lowest sense if if that’s what it comes to be and he’ll retire as a raptor but could he actually play meaningful minutes again I asked you guys in the amateur sports Community if you think he will ever play meaningful basketball for the Raptors again meaningful because it’s not just you know games where he’s not effective the Raptors aren’t challing playoff like actual meaningful basketball will he play it for the Raptors again 81% of the voters two and a half thousand two and a half K uh a good sample size here 81% say he will never play meaningful minutes for the Raptors again and unfortunately I have to concur here thought more people would have that slight optimism that Lowry could come back and play meaningful basketball but I think while Kyle L can still impact winning to this degree he is going to be looking to win and especially right now there is interest from winning teams there interest from potential contenders like the 76ers and Lakers and he’s not getting any younger here he’s defied age for a while now he made six straight All-Star appearances the first of six was when he was 28 years old and he’s 38 now uh one more year here let’s say he signs Lakers or Sixers one more year he’s 39 unfortunately you have to wonder how much impact he can continue to make on the floor and I think his with his age like how many more seasons has he got usually players fizzle out earlier therefore near the end of the career they’ve been chasing rings for a while then hey maybe he returns to you know the team that really made him returns to Toronto but here I don’t think there’s enough time here I think he’s going to spend another couple years looking for a ring and at that point you know who knows where the Raptors will be who knows how good Kyle L will be so unfortunately kyar would be wonderful to bring back to the Raptors in this summer it would be an amazing pickup but unfortunately I just do not see it happening and based on everything that I’ve laid out about the player I also unfortunately feel as though he will never play meaningful minutes for the Raptors again so it’s a fun little thing to dream about Kyle ey returning to the team especially this season you know the Raptors in disarray needing that guidance needing that leadership needing that talent to to help make them better unfortunately uh it just does not appear as though that is going to happen and I don’t mind it look I would love it but I understand where Kyle L is coming from again I have the utmost respect for the player I wish him all the success I hope he wins another NBA championship I hope it’s not with the 76ers I hope it’s with you know the Lakers I’d be okay with not the Sixers please I don’t want them to win I want lry to win but not him to win so again go chase that ring Kyle and when you’re ready to retire we got that one- day contract on the table ready to go for ready to go for yourself so let us know when you are ready to sign out all right everybody that will do it for today on amateur sports 2 check out my other channels for more Raptor content it’s my The greatest Raptor of all time Kyle Lowry is hitting the free agent market and the Raptors who are in desperate need of point guard depth, could look to sign the player. What will it take to get Lowry back in Toronto? Can Masai Ujiri convince Kyle Lowry to ever play meaningful basketball again on the North side of the border?

It would not surprise me if Kyle Lowry signs with Toronto. He has stated that one day he would return. Lowry would be a great mentor for the team, lets hope he comes home.
