I’m down. I think the Pistons might say no. Annoying part is we really don’t have much additional to throw in. His co-host is a Pistons fan and he was suggesting swapping the number 26 with a future first, but that scares me.
It would be nice though, especially if we could get Clingan at 5, which seems likely given who is drafting at 3 and 4.
EDIT: maybe we can throw in one of the weird Phoenix picks. Idk those confuse me.

That would be a no brainer for the Wiz. Based on info that is floating around for all us armchair GMs, there is no separation in the risk/reward in the players in the 2-7 range. I guess Det is further in their rebuild where they need a specific pieces, while the wiz are so bad that anyone decent will do. That seems like a lot for Detroit to pay. I wonder who they are targeting?

Give Ivey the keys to the car and draft Clingham?

I’m a fan of Ivey’s game… but he’s on an on-ball guard, similar to Poole. I don’t see us moving Poole back to the bench and Ivey definitely has starter potential. This move wouldn’t maximize Ivey or Poole’s potential pairing them together.

I think you have to ask yourself: If Ivey is already on the block after two seasons, why? I get that some guys just need a change of scenery, and Detroit hasn’t exactly been the best at developing anyone since their championship in ’04. However, when top 5 picks get moved this early in their careers, it’s not usually a good sign. I still think Ivey can be a productive player, but I don’t necessarily want us to give up picks to get him.
