Ron Holland, the No. 2 overall recruit from the 2023 high school class, could slide completely out of the lottery, per @DraftExpress Holland has recently scheduled pre-draft workouts with the Heat (No. 15) and Lakers (No. 17).

I think the front office is shying away from taking a project at 19.
If this guy slides this far (outside of health concerns, which it isn’t), then he should not be on our radar.

Wasn’t Collier once the #1 recruit in HS? Those rankings don’t mean anything other than them being able to dominant smaller/weaker players.

If he (or ideally Sarr) falls to 19 that would be chefs kiss.

Interesting, he was in consideration for the No. 1 overall pick early on. Though as the year has gone on he’s been sliding further and further down the draft. He’s essentially in our range now based on this Intel.

Would be amazing.

He’s a bit raw and ignite didn’t really fit his needs as he needs a bit more polish before going against pros. He needs to be with a coaching staff focused on development so it’ll be a good test of Darko and co. to see how well they can improve talent.

I’m sure he’s partly doing these workouts because of what happened with Cam whitmore last year.
A lot of teams passed on him in that low lottery/mid first round range because they never expected him to fall and he didn’t do workouts with them

His teammates didn’t go to his birthday party, and he lied about not reading the playbook
