Indiana’s better rebounders wasn’t available for most of those games and also worth noting the Pacers outrebounded the Knicks and four the seven games in the conference semifinal so how concerned are we about rebounding I think it’s got to be a concern it’s always an area of focus for this Pacers team and and really is uh has been a real factor in in in some of their success I think that overall they’ve improved you reference the acquisition of Pascal seaka not only just the rebounding he provides a different Dynamic for this team as a whole that the the Boston Celtics haven’t seen as of yet with the Pacers so that’ll be something that to to keep an eye on but for sure the rebounding aspect of it is in particular on the offensive end for the Boston Boston Celtics the the Pacers won’t limit those opportunities and as far as the Pacers are concerned not quite as simple as this but in general as Tyrese halberton goes so go the paces now Boston has not just one but they have at least two really good Defenders capable of dealing with halberton and Drew holiday and Derek white so how does that factor in yeah I throw Jaylen Brown in there as well and Jason Tatum himself isn’t bad so I think uh they do have a lot of guys they can throw at uh both halberton and seum to try to keep them off balance uh but if the patients are able to keep the pace of play the way they like it random style of play in transition and even when you get into a half court set you want to be able to move the ball and move bodies because you referenced it earlier this Celtics defense is very good and they mix it up Drew holiday is is The X Factor there sometimes they’ll go to this 212 type Zone where he’s randomly uh in and out of that painted area so they they throw a lot of different things at scored nine straight points multiple times throughout this game the the Pacers have fallen behind a significant margin but great job of responding and getting back into this game once again Boston has gone to the line 17 times Indiana just twice and brown misses the first that’s the one thing about this Celtics team even though they have these bursts where they overwhelm you with their offensive Firepower they don’t necessarily take the foot off the gas at all in terms of their shot selection as you look at that one there from Drew holiday a early three in that possession if you come up with that rebound you’re in better position down hits the foul shot the other thing that’s curious about them they had the best record in the NBA on the home floor 37 and four but they’ve dropped a couple of games in these playoffs at home one to Miami and one to Cleveland and even the last handful of Seasons the they haven’t been great at home in the playoffs final minute third quarter Boston in front you said Mark you would expect or hope to see many more games like this Pacers fans did not want to see overtime but this is as close and as competitive as they can get well when it was 120 Boston or when the Pacers were down 13 in the third quarter then I think fans would have loved to take their chances in overtime but the Pacers were up five with a minute and a half to go turnovers down the stretch which have been a problem all night long 19 alog together and that allowed the Celtics to have a little bit more than a puncher’s chance and to their credit they made some big plays that three
