  1. Ya know when jokedan keep going to the commissioner and tell them how to throw parody on any organization that lb gets?

now is the fake and drama driven coach killer dilemma narrativve is that you either get inexperienced coaches out of the murders., or college ones. coz he thinks college has better defense and mavs actually win with serving spoon lackluster defense

get addleman and put this wildfire off early. stop covering up anything. he isn't jesus. jokedan is lucifer. anyone who does the job for him even out of marketing or influence should be replaced by objective ones. don't slurp. he 60 and an antichrist.

  2. Hurley: I want major control of player personnel and team management in addition to coaching
    Jeanie: That's not a problem.
Jeanie: (Looking at Pelinka) You're fired.

  3. Dude, i dont know if they are going with JJ reddick or not and frankly I dont care. But this coach from uconn makes no sense for either party, so i call cap.

  4. I am pleasantly surprised with John Fanta's knowledge on the Lakers Coach search and Dan Hurley.

  5. I played under hurley at benedicts. and i must say, I have a lot of thoughts. some good, some bad. we’ll discuss this in detail, including, my personal experience playing for him, on this week’s pod! subscribe today!

  6. Fanta making up sh*t and hoping it sticks. This is his shot at national prominence. All his facts are wrong.

Any contract that UConn offers would be 'highest ever' because Hurley's previous deal was already the highest UConn has ever paid. Hurley thought UConn would get a big contract done after the back-to-back titles but the contract in April fell well short of it. It was not a 'lucrative offer'. So when Kentucky came in with 10-12M per year Hurley thought UConn would get close and have been negotiating since. This Lakers move is because Hurley went to the Lakers through his agents and said offer me something. It's pressuring the UConn heads and the state government to approve an offer that would be close to the Kentucky offer. Then we'll see if Hurley decides to take the Lakers offer.

The idea that Hurley already got a great offer from UConn but decided he didn't want that is just flat out wrong. He hasn't gotten an offer from UConn that's close to his value, that's why he's looking. Fanta being exposed as a complete fraud here trying to jump in on the Hurley to Lakers thing as quickly as possible to make it seem like he's an insider. He doesn't know anything, and is just making it up to hope to get credibility if it works out.

  7. Unless the Lakers changed their roster I don't care what coach they get they will lose again. Only God can help the Lakers with this horrible roster not Dan Hurley or Any other coach. The Lakers need a roster change more than a new coach!

  8. Dude this is crazy. As a Seton Hall guy Seeing Fanta get on a Lakers pod is so weird but interesting. Guy is climbing more up the ranks in sports media. Already seeing him being one of the main sources online too.

And for my honest take as someone who watches big East ball. I’m admittedly more of a bandwagon fan. I really don’t care but for sure Hurley is a great coach. His offense is legit like an NBA offense with constant action and movement that can be elite.

I think as many have said I just worry how he will mess with other players on the team. We also can’t expect the roster to totally fit what Hurley wants. We don’t even know how much control he has. It’s proven with the front office and even Lebron, that coaches don’t have the best say on FO decisions.

Also tocbe honest; even as a Seton Hall fan, UCONN being good is not just huge for big East basketball as a conference but college basketball.

With how NIL is, Hurley leaving is bad effect on the current landscape. It’s his opportunity and I think Hurley with the Lakers would be worth the risk and think it will work and can be fun, I feel staring at UConn a bit more would be better for college ball as a whole.

There is no stability anymore and UCONN for me has a chance to move up with Duke and UNC.

People say he won’t get another opportunity, but I think he will for sure. And considering he is an East coast guy, for my opinion even if I hate the Knicks, he would be amazing with the Knicks. Considering how volatile Thibs is, Hurley can wait 2 more years and have that gig and help the Knicks.

As someone who was a huge Nets fan, I think he would be amazing here if the spot was open as well.

Just trying to be fair and unbiased, and while as a CB guy, I’m hesistant for him leaving, I do think it is understandable and can be amazing coaching the Lakers.

I’m a Lebron guy too, so I do want the best and Hurley can be that guy, but as others have said we know it takes certain coaches to fit with Lebron.

I think people put too much stick about getting this perfect coach.

I’m not saying get another Ham, but they just need a coach with experience and knows how to adjust. It’s why simply getting an assistant is much better. Tbh and why kind of like Adelman from Denver or Quinn from the Heat.

  9. I don't believe Hurley will take the Lakers job. Yeah there's a lot money but he's solidly planted in UConn with great control and I'm sure they will pay him pretty well. All I'm saying JJ is still a huge possibility.

  10. Maybe Rob called him and said if we don't have a good playoff run we're going to have a position open, possibly even before the play in tournament we knew we needed a coach like him. Hmmm, kind of makes you wonder doesn't it ???

  11. I haven't felt better about the Lakers in weeks. I hope Hurley gets the HC job. No wasting a draft pick on Bronny please.

  12. It seems like things started cooling off once it was reported that JJ didn’t vote for AD for defensive player of the year.

  13. ANGELES LAKERS FANS ANGELES LAKERS BRONNY ANGELES LAKERS COMING 26 TRAINING ANGELES LAKERS BRONNY ANGELES LAKERS COMING JUNE 29 PLEASE PLEASE DRAFT PICK DRAFT PICK 55 BRONNY GOOD LUCK PUNTA ANGELES LAKERS ANGELES LAKERS 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

  14. John Fanta brought the FIRE!!!!!! This was awesome!!! Definitely have him on again!!! 🔥🔥🔥 now I really want the Lakers to hire Hurley

  15. When I see him actually coaching a Lakers preseason game I’ll believe you he’s the coach. Jared Vanderbelt is playing against Denver 🤬

  16. Yikes..we go from a failed experiment with a Rookie Coach….to a College Coach who is a rookie to NBA. Am writing off next 5 years, no contending.
