I keep hearing that the Cavs want to move off of Garland and Allen, but they need to stay competitive. Spurs need a point guard, and they’re basically just punting on “the weakest draft sense…” to get Garland.
I feel like this could be possible but it also seems too good to be true. But what do I know.

As a Hawks fan it feels like we are getting too much and the Spurs are giving up too much but Garland is really good. This doesn’t solve anything for Cleveland though as they’d still have backcourt issues unless they moved Mitchell. This is a perfect trade for us though.
Cavs would be getting pick 4/pick 8, Hawks would get back one of their own picks.
No. Scrap players and picks won’t make this team good this year nor the next. Swapping OO for Allen is especially a no go.
Swapping Dejounte for Keldon Johnson is criminal and you need to be locked up for even thinking something that stupid.
Extremely lopsided for the Hawks. Can’t see the spurs giving up 4 and 8 w/o getting 1. They’re in the perfect situation for this draft; they have their franchise cornerstone and can now draft complementary pieces of which there are plenty in this draft.
Only reason Spurs don’t hang up is because Cavs do first
The Cavs aren’t doing this deal
What if instead Dejounte goes to Houston for #3 and one of their young guys
Why would the Cavs go from Darius to Dejounte?
Bros trying to rob these franchises blind lmao
