I’m going to say this again. While I doubt Topic drops out of the top 10, if he manages to drop down to 16. I would take and hold this guy to pair with Maxey and Embiid. He’s a 6’7” guard with excellent facilitator ability and can get to the rim rather easily. There’s most likely no trade that is worth doing for players that can’t just be acquired via free agency.

By the time he’s useful to a deep playoff run Embiids window will be closed. Maxey is year 5 now and I’m not even sure he’s ready yet to be a #2 on a championship team based on his postseason play.
As much as I would love to continue the trend of stashing injured players who drop in the draft, I think we need to prioritize the immediate window before Embiid’s bones turn to dust
Even if we keep the pick and draft a player I doubt Daryl drafts him if he is there.
If he normally trades 1st rounders because he doesn’t think rookies are useful to a contender I doubt he draft a guy who is going to miss the entire season.
