pairing of two Elite Wings not resulting in at least a finals appearance for them feels like something that could only happen to the Clippers a team that’s felt like it’s been cursed beyond measure and now in true Clippers fashion things are set to go from bad to worse for them with questions that now surround Paul George’s future in Los Angeles last off season we saw that the Clippers were thinking about the possibility of disassembling the kawh Leonard and Paul George tandem but while they had these thoughts of ending it nothing would come to fruition in fact if anything they tripled down on this pairing by trading more assets for James Harden so the early reports in Los Angeles are that the Clippers want to keep this thing going retaining their core and running it back which is something that I truly believe that George would be interested in too seeing guys he said so himself and wants the Clippers to be one of two teams who will retire his jersey now here’s where things get a little messy reportedly the Clippers have made multiple offers to Paul George but those offers have been below the max which reportedly getting less than the max is not something that PG is interested in PG wants to stay in LA but you see he also wants his max now let’s just say that Paul George really does want this Max no matter what there are teams out there where he’d be a good fit that could give it to him these 76ers who can have Max cap space this off season are ready to go all in on PG this Summer according to the ringers Kevin oconor quote they’re looking for another star but they also need players who can fill various roles PG13 is both which is why sources familiar with Philly strategy say that he is the team’s plan a option in free agency OK Conor would add that and Tyrese Maxi and they have some assets and a whole lot of cash they’re really a very attractive destination for another star it’s just going to come down to who are they eventually going to get because they’re going to get somebody so the magic are another team to look out for when it comes to Paul George they’re another good ascending team with a ton of money where Paul George wouldn’t have to worry about being the guy or even the second guy for the magic Paul George could really be that Savvy Sharp Shooting Do-it all vet that helps to take them to another level I know that he’s going to require Max money or something like that but for the magic that still sounds good to me you could do a whole lot worse than bringing in Paul George this off season so Bleacher Report dropped this super interesting article where they talked about six free agency moves that should happen this off season and I want to know what you guys think about some of their choices first they had buddy held going to Orlando second they had Kyle Lowry going to Denver or Minnesota third they had Caleb Martin going to Philadelphia fourth they had Patrick Williams going to Utah fifth they had tus Jones going to San Antonio and last but not least they had Paul George going to New York now I don’t know about all of the rest of these but Paul George going to New York would be fun and also something that would be in line with the Nick’s current desires according to Fred Katz the team is targeting this summer to trade for a big name which brings us to the question why not Paul George if this year has shown us anything for New York it’s shown us that their roster is very good being incredibly deep which is something that bodess well for any team looking to acquire Paul George Via a sign and trade the Clippers could use some more guys assets and upside and the Knicks could use somebody like Paul George the Knicks really aren’t that far away for some reason people sleep on how good this team and Brunson were during these playoffs this man averaged 32.4 points 7.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds during 13 games guess who this team’s second leading scorer was during this run it was divon chenzo who to be fair was pretty good averaging 17.8 points but still my point remains give these Knicks and Jaylen Brunson reasonable health and a running mate like Paul George and watch out so while the upside for most win Now teams acquiring Paul George is spectacular there’s still a lot of looming risk he just made 34 in May and he comes with a heavy injury history so if the Knicks were to acquire Paul George they’d have to manage him and ensure that he’d be healthy for the playoffs which isn’t something that Mr 48 fibs necessarily has a history of doing so you know what maybe this marriage wouldn’t
