You’d think the bubble finals would have more viewers since everyone was pretty much just at home.

The Warriors play beautiful basketball. Not just the shooting and the movement offense, but their defense was magnificent. To me their ability to lock down on defense was the best part, and the biggest thing they’re missing now.

NBA can’t be happy about ratings being down 50% in 7 years. Probably gonna get worse, CBA is so restrictive at this point that we may not see any truly great teams/dynasties for a long time. Funny so many fans claimed at the time the Warriors were ruining the NBA, yet watched every minute.

The graph seems off to me, like 2017 seems less than 2x 2021, even though the number difference is >2x. And 2020 should be almost 1/3 of 2017 by the numbers and it doesn’t look like it is. Might be an optical thing, but it doesn’t look like it.

Wish nba n the nba refs also recognised this..rather than their compulsion of finding a new Jordan in LeGm

But I thought everyone hated those years. I thought there was “no parity” and “everyone just knew it would be the warriors and cavs so why even watch?” How’s all that going now?
imminentjogger5
the league + CJ McCollum and the NBA PA did it to themselves pushing for “parity” aka punishing the Warriors for drafting well

Yes, Steph and the Warriors mean viewership, but really it was the tremendous combination of Steph and Lebron and their amazing rivalry that yielded the best numbers

Always playing LeBron didn’t hurt
