[Music] welcome to this edition of hot seconds with Jack let’s meet our next contestant he wears the Miami Heat 13 ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the program bam out of vol D welcome back to the show come on have a seat listen you’ve done this before but there’s someone at home that is watching hot seconds for the very first time yeah here’s how you play the game each contestant will have 24 seconds to answer a two-point question which may be substitut for a chance at three points the contestant will be asked to perform a physical challenge in 24 seconds finally 24 seconds will be placed back on the clock for the fivepoint play one point will be awarded for each correct answer the contestant may call one 20 second timeout but time is of the essence as total time is the tie breaker Sam as defendant champ you get to set the last number will you repeat we start with this two-point question true or false at your Alma mat the University of Kentucky it was the women’s basketball program that was added to the athletic department first is that true or false your hot seconds begin right now you can also Sub sub that out if you don’t like that question by the way uh false that is actually true in 1902 uh the women’s program was established and then the very next year mids basketball at the University of Kentucky that’s okay we will get you set up right now with three points here comes a bam Centric physical challenge here we are your physical challenge you like myself spend some time in some neck of the woods and so you know we love this game uh the folks have seen it all season long go ahead sling it you got 30 seconds on the clock you hook that thing in 30 seconds or less you get three points is that easy oh so just one time one time in 30 seconds your hot seconds begin right now well come on told y tried to cheat me with the can we go back to the the the tape of him practicing can we do that can can we go back to the tape of him adjusting the strength y’all were going to cheat me but you cheated us but you still get three points you still get three points cuz you’re you let’s go to your fivepoint question all right bab here you go five points at least get you to eight on the board you have the very best field goal percentage in heat history at over 55% there’s a caveat to that by the way let you know what it is a little bit later I’m not going to help you with this one name the next five players on the Heats list a field goal percentages after you the next five you have 24 seconds on the clock your hot seconds begin right now okay I’m going to say Longo morning yes sir D way yes sir bra you got it you’re on fire you do have your timeout still you you need two more uh check your clock Che the clock where is it over there oh time time out there it is all right you I thought you were gonna stay with the bigs first and go there I will give you this uh this stat you must have at least 2,000 field goals made in heat history so there’s one guy that may seem obvious yeah not so much uh you still have two more left how much you got on the clock 3 seconds have two names in your mouth cuz you know how the judge does behind you heel just start that clock on yeah yeah I I yeah go UD uh-huh CB you got it baby it was Shaq who I was talking about at 59% but I think about you did not have 2,000 made field goals in this time here you do when you’re at the top of that list we’ll see where you fit on the leaderboard and see if you’re going to take this trophy home again back to back man thank you so much for your time here on hot seconds with ja it’s been a pleasure serving you [Music]
