    I love the sports journalism speak like “getting momentum”, “zeroing in” or “are targeting” it’s like direct enough to offer something but also vague enough to have a level of deniability

    As a Cavs fan who lives in Charlotte, I’d be happy with the Cavs signing Borrego. He’s a good coach.

    If we fired JB just to hire Borrego, I’d feel cheated. He didn’t have really any success in Charlotte beyond one 43-win season, which sure, it’s Charlotte, but our big issue with JB was the post season. Borrego hasn’t even made it there before, let alone had success there.

    I know successful playoff coaches don’t grow on trees either, but Borrego just doesn’t feel like the right choice for our team with what we need now.

    I have a hard time with him, because it’s almost impossible to grade any coaches or players associated with that shit Hornets run. He’s a mystery box to me.
