Anyway, another bad temporary coach is on the way 🫡

  2. Wateriswet1212

I’m sure James fucking Borrego is our special savoir lmfao fuck this team

  3. NotVexingPi3

This is just putting salt in the wound cause Hurley was a dog. But he chose loyalty over money. Kobe would respect that.

Only thing I’m annoyed about is how long he took and how he drew out the process + Woj.

  4. baribigbird06

Nah this ownership is trash for offering less than Kentucky, sell the fucking team to Guggenheim.

  5. HibachiGrill

Kobe also knew results fucking matter. Trash James Borrengo or probably trash JJ Redick? The Smush Parker version of coaches, I’m sure he would of loved that

  6. 100 percent this crazy how true it is. But in saying this our FO is trash so many mistakes smfh

  7. Bigpoppalos

💯 fuck hurley. Go back to JV ball. Scared

  8. StandardFinal5385

Yeah I’m sure brave JJ Reddick wanting to be a Laker is the one over the guy who has won 2 straight NCAA Championships.

  9. Like if he knew he wanted to go for the three peat at UConn, which is fine, why waste everyone’s time and fly out here and string us along? It can’t really be for leverage since apparently he already had a big offer from UConn. If nothing would have convinced him to come here, why even bother with the whole thing?

  10. “Listen, if you don’t want to come here, and be teamed w/ the most dominant player in league history, then toughen up, buddy boy”

The Kobe worship some of you have LOL

  11. johnthepinoy

If it helps stomach the news I guess… Hurley is not here because the culmination of incompetence this front office and ownership have shown over the last decade is glaringly obvious.

  12. TorontoRaptors34

Sadly coaches aren’t just lining up to coach for the Lakers there hasn’t been any consistency since Phil.

  13. TorontoRaptors34

Tbh Hurley built too much at UCONN and prob didn’t wanna risk coaching for such brain dead FO.

  14. We will never see anything close to Kobe again and it’s a crying shame

  15. taylor-cdgirl

I think there are a lot of guys that seem content to play just well enough to get a contract and coast with like the clippers or Orlando or some place that doesn’t really care than it is to play for the lakers when the whole city is on you when you lose

  16. makeanamejoke

yeah, he’s a loser college coach who can’t handle pro basketball.

  17. BaullahBaullah87

LOL this is now becoming corny. When so many people not only turn you down but use you as leverage and then smack you around in public…you gotta have some awareness

  18. halcyondread

Kobe also wouldn’t tolerate a front office who half-assed coach searches and roster construction. Not going all in on a legitimate godfather offer for a coach who they claim to have seen as someone they could build a culture with for the next decade is pathetic.

  19. xxxhotpocketz

If they can’t handle the bright lights ion want them in purple and gold

  20. BlackJediSword

How about we stop using a dead man’s words anytime we get spurned by someone and acknowledge that this isn’t a real run team by any stretch. We’re interviewing guys like James Boreggo to attempt to win a championship when we don’t even have a championship roster. We’re begging 40 year old LeBron to drag us to competency. We were in the play in last year, not when the playoffs. We’ve wasted so many years making stupid ass executive and roster decisions. Now we’re standing here, limp dick in our hands. Fuck this franchise.

  21. Hurley would’ve been fired after one year after getting blamed for the roster so stop complaining and using a deadman’s word
