but Bill Simmons had something to say when it pertains to Trey young and dejon Murray uh qu quite shocking okay if there’s truth to this this is this is quite shocking um before we talk about it if this so Bill Simmons dishes on explosive Hawks try Buzz surrounding both Trey young and De John Tamer now hear this hear this now you guys know I hopped off the whole Trey young thing because I felt like okay it was just cost way too much at this point uh more than likely that the the Hawks are going to try their best to hold on to Trey young and Deonte will be the one that’s gone but this is kind of insane so this is what Bill Simmons had to say about the situation so he says the thing I keep hearing from people is that if it was an over of one on FanDuel Trey and Murray get traded in the over overs one and you could bet under push or over that some people seem to think both of those guys are getting traded is a thing I’ve heard um and then he said from different people that don’t know each other who knows Things They said that the Hawks are just like you know what we we got the number one pick this didn’t work we got to the Conference Finals that one time let’s just try to blow this up I’m that would be insane if if the Hawks do decide based on this draft that they’re willing to blow this thing up that is so monumentally dumb like it it is it is it is insane how bad of an idea that is uh and the reason why I say that is because this draft is not the strongest draft right like you guys know I’m I’m I’m high on Ron Holland uh I’m high on Modis buellis but I never once said I think that these guys become superstars in the NBA I do not think that’s the case it it can happen anybody in the dra well not anybody okay but certain players in the draft could potentially end up being superstars in the league it’s happened before whatever you know we have some crazy stories uh but this would just be crazy especially with 2024 draft that just isn’t that strong now we’ve already talked about how if the Spurs were to go after Trey young what it would more than likely take is giving them their picks back so if they want to trade Trey young and de jonte Murray and they want to start from scratch I don’t know what you’ll get for DJ okay I’m sure it’ll be a decent price right but I I I don’t I don’t know what you’ll get but with Trey young they definitely will want to get their picks back I would assume if they want to blow this whole thing up that they won’t 100% just lean on the fact that they have a 2024 first round pick and then just sit back and hopefully the other picks that they get that the other teams actually uh uh mess up or screw up in the in the upcoming years in which they will get a good pick I don’t know a lot of teams are holding on to their draft picks right now uh especially at 2025 people do not want to give up any placement uh in that 2025 so it it could be potential it there’s potential here if this is true that they would hit up the Spurs like hey you know we really we really would like our pcks back right we just want to blow this thing up I did not expect this to be even a possibility uh but hey we’ll wait we’ll see you know I I I haven’t heard any of this but it it’s hey whatever whatever um and if they’re if they’re really silly enough uh to try to bank on the 2024 first overall pick then guys I I don’t know I don’t know what to tell you I mean how many players players in this draft are Bonafide Superstars usually in the you know these drafts we can sit back and say you know with a lot of confidence that guy is going to be really good you know or this guy is going to be a monster and we can do that to some degree in this one right like Alex R we know that he’s going to be a really good player uh but nobody in this draft that I will be comfortable in saying oh yes will’ll eventually be able to build around them I do not think that that’s the case uh so maybe possibly there is truth to this where they just want to blow everything up and they’re going to want their picks back right uh so the Spurs will be in that conversation we would have to be in that conversation there’s no way we wouldn’t be uh but we all know right now we’re more so focused on Darius Garland at least that’s what’s coming out uh so it’s it’s up there we we’ll just have to wait and see man but it seems like a lot of stuff is going to go down um pretty soon uh with this with this upcoming uh uh uh uh draft day but anyways I’m I’m going to go ahead and get out of here the please let me know what you think in the comments that man that
