The Lakers have done pretty well for themselves by putting in minimal effort and simply waiting for the biggest stars to either demand trades to join them or sign via free agency. Once you have big name superstars on the roster, you won’t have trouble finding role players that want to have a shot at a ring.
As far as owners they aren’t up there with the other billionaires floating around the NBA.
