That’s an absolute fleece of the Raptors considering the type of draft this is.
I would only do that trade if the raptors kept their picks and routed Kennard to a 3rd team since we already have Dick.
I wouldn’t take this too seriously. This is a bad deal, the difference between the 9th and 19th pick is not that tremendous this year.
only way I see raptors trading is up is by using Bruce Brown, a future second freed up from the Jak trade, or cash considerations

Poeltl for 9th pick is a framework that makes sense for both teams but the Grizzlies will want a pick back. Giving up the 31st pick to make the deal work wouldn’t be a problem but if the Grizzlies really want the 19th pick, they will have to sweeten the pot for us…. not the other way around. lol

Massively undervalue of Jakob, players improve faster with good players at each position, and having a starting Centre on this roster will allow BBQ to fit into their roles better. Toronto likes the Center duo of Jakob/Kelly, good vets that want to be in Toronto and will help the young guys improve and mesh.
