Skeptical that Holmes makes it to 28. I like Ajay Mitchell in that range.

  2. HazmatSamurai

Quite literally everyone keeps mentioning Holmes so that means there’s 0% chance we’ll take him.

Totally ready for Booth to yet again take someone that none of us were expecting…whether for better or worse

Trade the pick. No more young projects. We already have a logjam of those guys who aren’t helping us compete for championships, we don’t need more.

If we make a pick at 28 then next season ends just as this season did

  5. BoneyardBill

Trade a future first to trade up to get anyone good.

Any young player they select will not get any playing time given the construction of the roster. That being said, Booth is obviously convinced he can develop a dynasty along side competing for titles using picks in the 20s and second rounders. What could possibly go wrong?

There were reports that OKC supposedly made a promise to Holmes

As a Uconn guy I love newton. But really, we have to many young players we myaswell trade the picks.

**Bigs:** DaRon Holmes – Kyle Filipowski – Oso Ighodaro (SRP only) Ulrich Chomche (SRP only/last resort)

**Secondary Ball Handler/Utility:** Jaylon Tyson – Baylor Scheierman – Dillon Jones – Jalen Bridges (SRP only/last resort)

**PG:** Ajay Mitchell – Tristen Newton (SRP only) – KJ Simpson (SRP/last resort)

Last resorts are players I’d only pick if all better options (fit/player prototype) were off the board. Chomche being the lowest man in the list based on age/NBA readiness.

In a vacuum, I would like to see them package the pick with Zeke and/or Reggie to get a more impactful bench piece.

In reality, the 28th pic in a very weak class doesn’t have much value and the Nuggs will probably have to package the 2031 frp or other 2nd round picks. If they have to use the pick, a backup C like Holmes or Flip wopuld be a good choice. Backup C is really just a regular season spot that pretty much goes away in the playoffs. Ideal for a rookie.

Bro I don’t even think draft experts themselves have any idea who from this draft is gonna be good. This is the most crapshoot draft in a while. And whoever we pick isn’t getting any minutes next year so it seems very inconsequential to next year

  12. if we can’t get holmes, then filipowski would be cool

  13. TJ_McConnell_MVP

I ain’t no fucking scout and neither are y’all. If you sitting here tryna predict the 28th pick in the draft you have too much time on your hands.

  14. Trade the pick and some of their youth for a better sixth man

  15. CoyoteDecent2

If any draft pick stays instead of getting traded for a vet it’s a failed season already

  16. A lot probably depends on how they feel about resigning KCP.

  17. LACIRCA2044

We’re still waiting on draft picks from 2 drafts ago to simply get playing time

  18. Reasonably_Sound

I saw Johnny Furphy as a potential to Nuggets. They like the KU players. Would be a good get.

  19. JBSanderson

Simple, just trade the picks for Jrue Holliday and Luka.

  20. Suitable-Opposite377

Holmes is not as good as people seem to think, I don’t understand why they assume him doing well against meh competition will translate

  21. keepyourbliss20

How about a kam jones or a Tristan da Silva to potentially handle the ball as a backup 1. Both are good finishers at the rim, and kam can light it up and make threes at will. Desperately need secondary scoring

  22. true_enthusiast

Blowing up the team for Kyrie gave Dallas a fine run, but what about the future?
