  1. I’ll take anybody who can contribute in a meaningful way right from the start. No need to shoot for a star, I just don’t want another project. From my expert view after one (1) highlights vid and reading this article, maybe that’s him.

I could totally see Scheierman being the pick at 27.

Awesome shooter which is what he’s known for, but he’s a much better rebounder, passer, and team defender than he gets credit for. Super smart connective piece who could realistically step in and contribute right away, which would be extra valuable for this team.

There are legit questions about his footspeed and offensive pop, he’s not very long, and the fact that he’s almost 24 makes him fairly low upside (and makes him more bustable than people might expect).

This FO has gone the complete opposite direction since coming in, prioritizing upside swings rather than immediate contributors (Minott, Miller, and Clark were all expected to redshirt at minimum). But the team’s in a different position now than it was the last 2 years. Maybe a change in philosophy is coming.

Nice, weird but quick release, seems like high IQ, good size…

Creighton fan here. He’s very competitive, got that “dawg” in him. He usually played the entire game, never needing (or wanting) a rest. Very good shooter, can be a bit streaky but his form is ready to go and he can release it very quickly. He’s best at catch at shoot 3’s, and if he’s dribbling he usually either gets to the rim or stops and pivots away for a 10-footer, which he hits consistently.

Strong rebounder. I could see defensive footspeed as being a limiter on defense, but it won’t be lack of effort or care.

His ceiling is, fittingly, Kyle Korver. Korver was a lights-out 3-pt shooter and hustled and was smart enough on defense to not be a liability and still rebound effectively.

He’s an asshole. Player who is only liked by the fans of the team he is on, and hated by everyone else. We need 3-pt shooting and we need more grit. I’d love to land him at 27 but I don’t feel like he will last that long.

Good chance we’ll draft him with one of our picks. Shooter with playmaking abilities, rebounds, solid size, seems to be pretty competitive, and competes on the defensive side. Biggest concerns, age, average athlete which negatively effects his defense/ ability to finish at the rim. Good chance he’s a day one rotation guy. Highest Ceiling: maybe a Kris Middleton type player, likely more of a Joe Ingles type player as a realistic ceiling. Floor: Floor spacer, who plays hard, fights for boards and can pass a little.
