He made a good point our defense hasn’t been that bad, it’s the offense scoring under 100 that’s killing us and getting nothing from role players like Tim and Kleber

The avalanche on Luka just revealed how many haters were always waiting for an opening. Slightly isn’t one of them.

He makes a great point. Everyone is so focused on calling out Luka’s defense, when our offensive production is the main issue. Not saying he’s a defensive wizard, but as a team we have held them to respectable scores this series, but have yet to break 100 ourselves.
Imagine had just a couple more shots went in this would be an entirely different series and the narrative completely different. Luka is under a microscope so every little flaw is magnified by the media and his haters. One day he will shut them all up.

It’s crazy to not be able to criticize Luka either. I’m a die hard mavs fan but the guy has some growing up to do. It’s part of life. He’s 25 and has already dragged a team to the Finals. Hes learning the hard way that to win the Finals you need another gear/level and that comes with experience. Let’s give him some time to learn from this and enjoy this amazing season for what it is. We are in the fucking finals! Before the season started 100% of us mavs fans would have been ecstatic to hear that we would be here. Boston, on the other hand has failed in the finals already. They also got humiliated by a 8 seed last year and they’re finally breaking through. It takes time. Lukas prime is just starting. Enjoy the journey.

I think Luka should simply go back to Real Madrid and be happy there. He had already made hundreds of millions, he doesn’t need this shit and he sure as hell doesn’t need more money. Nobody needs to make half a billion or a billion – that’s just an American dogma, a way to make you give up your life and your health for a pointless sky high pile of cash, that you’re better off not having in the first place.
