fans of the purple and gold are absolutely going through it right now as not only are they dealing with the embarrassment of Highly publicized Dan Hurley rejection followed by reports of essentially crawling back to JJ reic who set to interview with the team this weekend but on top of all that they’ll soon have to witness their ultimate Rivals the Boston Celtics hoist up the Larry O’Brien trophy as part of what many fans around the league believe to be the first of many in the near future given the Flawless construction of the roster that certainly has not been the case for Los Angeles Lakers who seem to have massive turnover on roster almost on an annual basis and this upcoming summer is not looking much different at least this time around the Lakers have multiple first round picks and trade friendly contracts to facilitate a potential Blockbuster move but do Laker fans really want to go down that path again rolling the dice on a win now move while short changing their long-term future again maybe it’s time the Lakers stand Pat with their future assets pivot in preparation for Life post soon to be 40-year-old LeBron James and stick to what they do best which is finding quality talent in the draft developing them into two-way contributors and bargain deals then hopefully wait for the next big star to join as a free agent June 26 theight of the 2024 NBA draft it will serve as fans first Glimpse at which direction the Laker front office wants to take with their future and already fans are getting a pretty good idea of what’s about to go down the fate of their 17th overall pck is very much still up in the air as the front office will probably hold out for the extremely rare champ chance a worthwhile deal for a third star comes across their table but as for the Lakers 56 overall pick it appears the Lakers have already found their guy that being none other than Lakers Superstar son bronny James Jr this now marks the second time in just this past month that bronny James has been working out at the Lakers facility and we have yet to receive confirmation of him actually attending any other team’s pre-draft workout just rumors of some teams that may be interested but nothing as concrete as the Lakers working him out essentially twice in such a short space man it’d be naive of fans to believe the opportunity of pairing up argu the greatest player of all time with his son on the same team is not an incredibly attractive idea for ownership in the front office to Market to fans as part of The Following Season where competing for a title appears to be a long shot yet again at the very least it’s a good story to tell and draws eyeballs while the Lakers championship window continues to come to a close if not already it would definitely be a good business decision as it could be insurance policy to add value to what otherwise would be meaningless regular season games in the event the Lakers can’t even manage to squeeze their way into the playing tournament in the Uber competitive Western Conference that seems to only get better and better not to be a Debbie Downer but with the way the landscape currently looks the Lakers will unfortunately be highly reliant on a four-year-old LeBron James and Anthony Davis who played over 65 games in just one season over the last six years to hopefully carry them to a deep postseason run now the question is can Brony James be more than a good story and instead also develop into a good player on the court who could contribute on both ends of the floor Scouts around the league are skeptical hence the minimal interest from teams but on the bright side the Lakers specifically the South Bay Lakers have had their fair share of underrated Scrappy post draft prospects graduate from their program to become quality contributors at the next level we’ve yet to see bnie James participate even in a summer league game so I’ll leave the speculations and player comparisons to you guys down in the comments section below so let me know who do you guys believe would be a realistic comparison for the type of player that bronnie James Jr could be likely as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers next season but that’s it for the video take it easy guys this is a this is a serious business um and I don’t feel like there be like a thought of I’m just drafting this kid just because of I’m going to get his dad like I don’t I don’t think I don’t think uh a GM would would really allow that so yeah I I I’ve never really thought about like yeah no I think I think I’ve put in the work and and I get drafted because of the the the person not only the player but the person that I am right when when you dealt with what you dealt with over the summer um the immediate after how did you gu when did you shake I imagine fear was something you felt like when did you shake fear I I’m still it’s it’s still lingering um I I feel like my parents were were a big factor of you know believing in me and and giving me the love and affection that I that I needed at that time um yeah I I still I still think about everything that could happen but you know I just I just love the game so much that it just overpowers it do you think that affected at all how you play yeah for sure I I I will set back um but that’s not that’s not an excuse I I I have put in so many years of work and um yeah I don’t want to I don’t want to have anyone think that I just because I had this this issue that I’m lower than everyone else so what’s the that you feel like you slept on feel like defensively you’re really good to IQ there but what’s the area you feel like in your game that’s not talked about enough [Music] um I feel like I I feel like my competitiveness and um um like the the willing to win is like like a big part of who I am also just being a great teammate um a great closes player um I feel like that’ll take me a long way in this business I’m sure you’re used to my my goal isn’t really to be that guy um there’s a lot of guys in the NBA that are you know have that role already my current goal is just to you know fit into a role that a team needs um that’s what’s going to get me drafted and yeah just play play play the best be the best player that you know excelling in that role and stuff like that [Music] um when I need to work on my game I mean I’m work I really work on every part of my game uh when I like in the gym and stuff like that and yeah I don’t yeah I don’t really think about you know being that that guy on the team right now cuz there’s already those Jason Tatum every one of those guys I don’t know which teams have you met with so far and who do you have lined up I I haven’t M anyone yet Ronnie what do you anticipate your emotions on draft night being you know if if you do hear a name and it’s you know like you said that goal that all of you guys won that youve made the NBA all that negativity and hatred and it’s just going to all pile down on me I I really don’t know how I’m going react um it’s it’s going to be a lot for sure for myself and my parents cuz I know they’re going to you know be 10 times as much as emotional that I am so but for clarity so have you made your decision yet no I haven’t as as you prepared potentially for pro process you talked about guys leag that have the that sort of like A1 role who are some of the guys that you look at around the NBA in rules and you say okay like maybe I can affect what this yeah um guys like Davon Mitchell um Drew holiday um Derek white just name a few like just the guys that excel in their role and you know get good money and get good playing time from it um cuz they cuz they are you know lock into that role and know what they’re supposed to do so I feel like you know if I have a chance to do that then I you have a lot of narratives being tossed around you um around about you but what do you brownie James want your story to be uh everyone’s heard this before I just want to you know have people know my name is bronnie James and not being you know identified as just LeBron James son I feel like that would be a great end go what is it about d
