  1. To be fair, we had a lot of fire power: D Wade, Deng, CB, JJ, Gerald Green, Dragon. We underachieved that year

  2. Lineup that season was:

    Dragic
    Wade
    Deng
    Bosh
    Whiteside

    Richardson
    Gerald Green
    Winslow
    McRoberts
    Stoudemire

It was a good team. But Bosh went out with blood clots and Whiteside also got hurt in the second round. Valanciunas also got hurt at the same time as Whiteside, and Valanciunas was actually playing better than Whiteside.

But Biyombo ended up proving a lot more capable as a backup Center than Amare.
Amare and the team started getting eaten on the boards and interior by Biyombo and then Spo had to go really small and team was eliminated in 7 games of the second round.

If Bosh and Whiteside didn’t go out, even if Valanciunas also doesn’t go out, I’m confident Miami would have advanced to the ECF. Would’ve been very fun to see a Wade vs LeBron playoff series that we never got, even if Wade wasn’t in his prime anymore.
