I don’t think love any of the big name FAs on the market, but I think a couple smaller signings and deals could make this team look really good next season.
My only issue with that WCJ/Dieng trade is that I don’t think Dieng really ever projects to be a great shooter, so even if he develops really well I don’t think we’d particularly want him next to Paolo and Franz. Hartenstein would be an amazing signing if we could somehow pinch him – I can’t remember what NY’s cap situation is like this off-season but they would have his bird rights surely?
