The NBA HATES What The New York Knicks Are Doing..

the New York Knicks are making massive changes and bold moves and the NBA has no idea what this team is doing I think we can all agree that this Nicks team is what it takes to get to the next level and that is what makes the NBA embarrassed the NBA hates what the New York Nicks are doing and that’s what we’re going to talk about in this video before diving into the details let me say this I’d love to see Isaiah hartenstein OG anunobi and buan bogdanovich return to the Knicks if the team had been healthy this postseason I’m not saying we would have beaten Boston who won 64 games and were top five in both offense and defense but I do think we could have taken them to seven games that could have been the NBA Finals when healthy I believe we are a better team than the Mavericks no disrespect to them but when the Knicks had Randall and Brunson even without Mitch they were dominating contenders like Philly Minnesota and Denver the Knicks were electric boasting the League’s top ranked defense and impressive scoring in January they only lost two games marking the second best record in a single month in franchise history however when OG and Randall got hurt everything quickly went downhill the Knicks took Indiana to a seventh game Indiana had the second ranked offense in the regular season though their defense and rebounding were weak taking them to seven games is an achievement to be proud of as Jaylen Brunson mentioned it wasn’t a successful season because we didn’t win the championship but as an optimistic Nicks fan it’s hard to say this season wasn’t exciting watching these highlights like Dante knocking down a three and Brunson rising up reminds me why we’re Knicks fans not all the games were competitive as we did get blown out in a few but moments like Dante’s game-winning three are why we love this team for me this was the best season I’ve seen the Knicks played since becoming a fan around 2009 or 2010 it surpasses even the 2013 season we had a massive opportunity but injuries took their toll we lost Buon Mitch Randall and OG and that ultimately led to our downfall despite that there were so many reasons to be excited about this team in this video we’ll discuss how the Knicks can position themselves to win a championship next season for me it starts with Julius Randall I initially wanted to trade in coming into this season after the loss to the heat I even made a video saying I’m done with Julius Randall get him off my team but that was a hasty judgment Randall wasn’t playing healthy and although he struggled against Atlanta he demonstrated this season that he could be a different player we didn’t see him in the playoffs due to injury but from early November until his injury in January he was averaging 25 points nine rebounds and five assists on 50% shooting even if you’re not a fan of Randall which is hard to understand as he’s a great guy his presence creates opportunities for others especially Jaylen Brunson watching Randall and Brunson play together you’ll notice how many open looks Brunson gets with Randall on the court Jaylen Brunson spotting up for wide openen threes is rare but with Randall it happens more often bson needs someone like Randall to play the role of Batman I recently read an article stating that Julius Randall won’t be a robin to Jaylen brunson’s Batman meaning Brunson is seen as the number one option and Randall as the number two some believe Randall could even be a solid number three I think Randall can be a strong number two on a championship team provided he plays like he did in the regular season if Randall elevates his game he could be one of the best number twos in the league even if he gives you 25 to9 or 23 to8 in the playoffs on good splits that should be enough the Knicks are no longer the same team we saw in 2023 which was largely reliant on Brunson RJ Barrett showed flashes but lacked consistency now the Knicks have added OG and nuni Dante Devan chenzo and seen players like Josh Hart Isaiah hartenstein and Miles McBride Elevate their games assuming they bring back OG and hardenstein even if they lose Buon they should be fine they might trade Mitch but the roster looks strong however they still need one or two more pieces which is why I’ve compiled a list of nine potential Players let’s dive into them let’s kick off with the player I covet most for our team Royce O’Neal over six consecutive Seasons he’s maintained an impressive three-point shooting percentage of 37 to 39% additionally he brings a physical presence to the wing which is an area we need to bolster assuming OG an unabi and Isaiah hardenstein return looking at our guard depth chart we’re solid with Jaylen Brunson and Miles McBride McBride excels defensively and can hit shots off the dribble or spotting up but he’s not a playmaker while adding another guard who can facilitate might be an option our priority lies in securing another Wing at guard even if Alec Burks leaves we’re still strong with Brunson Dante Devan chenzo and McBride but when it comes to Wings it’s a bit uncertain although technically we could afford to bring back hartenstein OG and buan bogdanovich it would require investment from James Dolan given to Nick’s recent success I hope he’s willing to invest personally I lean towards O’Neal over bogdanovic due to his fit with our roster O’Neal’s presence could be the Tipping Point between Championship success and failure while he may not be a star acquiring him for the minimum or using the mid-level exception would be a significant pickup he’s my top priority without a doubt another Wing option to consider is Kyle Anderson as for the rest of the Wings there isn’t much on my list Gordon Hayward isn’t a player I’m interested in especially after his lackluster performance for the thunder in the playoffs when it comes to guards my top pick is tus Jones he’s reliable with the ball dishes out assists and I’ve admired his game since his time in Memphis watching him step up for the Grizzlies when John morat was out showed his leadership and ability to adapt while I won’t directly compare him to TJ Mamo they have different styles but Jones could provide a similar impact Off the Bench for us bringing in tus Jones would be a move VI fully support Kyle Lowry is someone I believe could bring value to our team despite being 38 years old he’s a proven champion and gave us a tough time in the Miami series I’d love to see him alongside miles McBride maybe I’d even rank him alongside tus Jones for now with Royce O’Neal as the top priority Derek Jones Jr is another player whose defense and length could benefit us although I doubt he’ll leave the Mavericks Kyle Anderson is worth considering for his versatility if hardenstein leaves we might Target players like Kevin Looney and Jonas Valen sunas I’m hopeful our current players stay However I understand money talks and players may leave for better contracts elsewhere if hardenstein wants to remain a Nick offering a one-year deal with a promise of a larger contract next season might be our best bet although it’s a risk personally I don’t want hartenstein to leave but I may be biased as a Knicks fan realistically the most we can offer him is around 70 to 75 million nowhere near the 80 to 100 million he could potentially earn elsewhere OG is a player we absolutely need to resign regardless of the cost his value to us goes beyond just his defensive prowess he also contributes around 17 points per game it’s rare to find a player who can Excel on both ends of the floor like OG does there might only be around five defenders in the league who are better than him his defense even against top players like embiid is impressive while embiid still managed to score over 30 points OG made it challenging for him there’s actually a lot more I want to discuss but I’ll save it for the next video
