Joe isnt a great coach. Just a coach of a great team

Credit to the Mavs. They just took a game off the 2024 champs.

Super yucky game, back to Boston for a shot to win in front of the home crowd.

On the plus side, a few of the deeper bench guys have gotten some run and the chance to put up some points in a finals game. Hauser hitting some shots will hopefully carry over to game 5.

Awful performance but all is not lost. They need to win three more in a row, Celtics need one.

Haha, wild game. What a time for the worst game of the season

  5. For the most part I think it was just letting go of the ropes. Yeah Mavs played well, particularly defended well. JT and JB just looked like they were playing pick up basketball. Rotations and help defence was sloppy and we didn’t move the basketball enough. Not enough effort on offence, gave up loads of offensive boards and generally looked tired. I wonder what the result would have been if we had made a couple of those 3’s early on. But that’s probably why we lost. Thinking that the Mavs would just hand you the chip.

If the Mavs do play like this on Monday there needs to be a bigger sense of urgency. Although we’ve responded well to losses for the entire season. Not worried.

Mavs playing against a middle school team tonight

  7. The Mavs could pull a 2004 Red Sox off. Never know.

  8. I’m just gonna say they lost on purpose to win the chip at home and move on

Haha we’re very lucky we got to play a team without a pulse for the first 3 games.

That stunk but I like to think they got all the bad out. I thought it would be 3-1 going to game 5 but figured the Mavs would take game 3.

  11. I knew we were gonna lose at least 1 game but holy shit i am never gonna hear the end of this at work on Monday.

  12. For those that don’t know the context of this pic, this is a fan of the National Cricket Team of Pakistan. This man just witnessed one of his outfielders drop a clean catch that would have led to an out of the other team’s batsman. Oh and I forgot to mention one thing. This was in the Cricket World Cup. The Biggest Stage. The worst part is that the fans had been witnessing the team make blunders like that for the past few title runs. Seem familiar to an another team we know?

It’s like they wanna finish it at home or something

Tillman cannot be used that heavily. He was cute in game 3 but this was way too much. Reduce his minutes immediately!! He is not what got us here.

And for the love of God go back to what was working. Get the Switch with Luka guarding Brown/Tatum and GO. AT. HIM.

    FFS!

I love our guys, but this was literally me standing like this looking at the TV before I shut it off in the 3rd.

They went back to last years team and took their foot off the pedal. And a cornered opponent is always the toughest. I thot they finally shook this after how dominant they were post season this year. Hopefully this was a wake up call. On the plus side no one got injured glad joe took em out early. Porzingus needs to put his big boy pants on and contribute gm 5. Even if just to spell horford.

  17. IKenDoThisAllDay

I guessed Celtics in 5 before the series and I’m sticking with that.

  18. They threw away the game so they can win on their home court in Boston. At least the curse has been broken for Kyrie… lol

  19. Ndlburner

It’s not the loss that has me worried, it’s the way it happened. This team has not been able to defend Dallas in the post and paint in the same way without Porzingis, nor have they had quite the same post game on offense either without him. We haven’t been able to maintain leads very well against Dallas without him, and winning has become more dependent on our (very streaky) outside shot making. We shot horribly tonight. If we’re gonna win the series we have to either shoot much better, or get Kristaps back on the court.
