Imagine telling someone 2 years ago that Luka and KP had the highest +/- in the finals. Mavs fans would be very happy lol.

Yeah I’d hope so considering all the Celtics players took like -30s last night

He also has the highest bmi.

How quickly and predictably the Mavs crumble every time he sits is kinda crazy. Genuinely feels like Kidd can’t even afford to rest him 2 minutes at a time

One thing that got lost in the “let’s all incessantly shit on Luka” discourse between games 3 and 4 is that he had the best plus/minus on the Mavs even *before* last night.
He was a full 21 points better in plus/minus going into game 4 than Kyrie, for example. And the momentum of game 3 shifted toward Boston at the end of the first quarter when Luka subbed out (they cut like an 8 point lead to 1), and Dallas never regained momentum until the 4th quarter run.
He had a seriously awful meltdown in the second half of game 3 but it just did not warrant the degree of vitriol and unhinged attacks that sprung from Windy’s postgame tirade.

Best player in the world and has the traits of so

At this point Luka should be getting FMVP votes, regardless of who wins.

Tatum has had a worse +/- per time than Boston without him for 3 straight games:
Game 4: JT -33 in 27 mins, team was -5 in 21 minutes without him
Game 3: JT -4 in 42 mins, team was +11 in 6 minutes without him
Game 2: JT +6 in 45 mins, team was +1 in 3 minutes without him
TOTAL: Tatum -31 in 114 minutes, Boston +7 in 30 minutes without Tatum

Luka should win FMVP even if the Mavs lose. He is by far the best player in the finals.

I thought he was a bust headed for China??

He also had +30 in G4, 9th highest in history, tied with Durant ’18, Diaw ’14, Chalmers ’13 and Rick Fox ’02.
Not bad considering he’s averaging 2 points in the 4th quarter through 4.
SickRanchezIII
I mean he was plus 6 going in to the game and it was a huge blow out so this is not surprising. If we blow them out next game he probably wont have the highest plus minus but maybe
Prince_of_DeaTh
He has been the best player in the finals, it’s just impossible when the next 4 best players after him are all on the Celtics. The only other player that is “good” on Mavs is Kyrie and he’s playing worse than average.

Well well well
Yeah but does he contribute to WINNING though?
