before we get started you guys I just wanted to give you a friendly reminder that Phoenix Suns general manager James Jones and Suns owner Matt ishia have gone on record and pretty much have said in the past that they view draft picks as trade assets so I don’t know if I fully trust James Jones and Matt ishia to keep this pick especially in a draft that is as unpredictable as this one in my personal opinion you guys this draft class is a good example of beauty is in the eye of the beholder anything is possible in this draft however according to Mike Scot from Hoops hype in his latest mock draft which also included reporting on many NBA teams including the Phoenix Suns and here’s what he had to say in Mike Scot’s report he goes on to say and I quote there’s a growing belief from rival NBA Executives who spoke with Hoops hype that Phoenix will Target Marquette point guard Tyler Kik with the 22nd overall pick KCK led the NCAA in assist this season and would be a potential fit for the Suns who want to add a traditional point guard this off seon and it also goes on to say quote it’s also worth noting kic is a priety sports client and is represented by Agent Mark bartelstein whose son Josh is the CEO of the Phoenix Suns now look you guys prior to the this report I had done a little bit of homework on Tyler kok I took a few notes and watched some film and everything and I am still educating myself with this draft class however according to the scouting report on Hoops hype I’m mainly focusing on the strengths here if you want the full Scouting Report I’ll put the links Down Below in the description but here’s what it has to say in 2023 24 kak averaged 15 points per game nearly five rebounds 7.7 assists 1.6 Steals and shot 49% from the field 38% from three and 85% from the free throw line and here are some of his strengths not all of them just some of them he possesses craftiness and intelligence as a point guard significant Improvement as a shooter hitting 40% from three-point range solid floor General orchestrating an offense effectively creates scoring opportunities for teammates with flashy plays and if you are a fan of Kevin o’ Conor from the ringer in his mock draft he goes on to say that he has shades of Jaylen Brunson and former Phoenix Sun point guard Goran dragic he is a pure playmaker who makes his teammates better and can catch fire as a score now again that’s just some of the scouting report on Kevin o Conor’s the ringer I’ll put the link Down Below in the description you guys can go read the rest for yourselves and I’m kind of torn on on this you guys because the more homework and research I do on Tyler KCK the more I really do like him but again I just can’t get past the fact that I don’t trust James Jones and Matt ishia to keep this pick it’s just so unpredictable so I’m kind of just giving my thoughts off what is being reported and what we know so we’re just going to have to wait and see you guys let me know in the comments section if you guys think the Phoenix Sun should keep this pick and and if they do keep this pick should they draft Tyler KCK let me know your thoughts com Ms and opinions down below and also written in the Hoops hype report it goes on to say speaking of bartl Stein’s clients free agent Royce O’Neal is expected to resign with Phoenix and is projected to earn roughly 10 million annually the SS have O’Neal’s bird rights headed into free agency allowing them to go over the cap to retain him now this is no surprise you guys I believe Brian windhorse had this report first even though it is not yet official at the time of this recording but I do welcome back Royce O’Neal it helps with the continuity and the chemistry of this team he is a great three and D Wing player and I just feel like he’s going to help add to this Phoenix Suns team and it’s going to be interesting to see Royce O’Neal in a Mike buen hoser system especially with our new coaching staff starting to take shape I am excited to bring back Royce O’Neal once the signing is officially done that is so do me a huge favor you guys and get active in the comments section let me know your thoughts comments and opinions down below thank you guys so much for watching my name is Brandon AKA Suns geek and if it has to deal with the Phoenix Suns I’m going to make a video about it make sure to Hulk smash that like button please subscribe thank you guys so much for watching win or lose Phoenix Suns for life and I’ll see you guys next time go Suns appreciate [Music] what’s up son [Music]
