what’s going on everyone so last night if you saw the NBA Finals uh you probably saw the Joel embiid interview uh in which Joel embiid clearly was tampering and needs to be kicked out of the league uh no in all seriousness it was pretty funny right like Joel embiid is sitting like right next to to Paul George he’s over there clearly trying to recruit Paul George I’m sure they had all kinds of conversations all night I’m sure Joel embiid point blank is like hey dude come to Philly cuz lot of talk and speculation about Paul George going to Philadelphia teaming up with Tyrese Maxi and Joel embiid but it was just so funny he’s like yeah get some help and then like makes this face towards uh towards Paul George and then you know Paul George and him are sitting right next to each other and he’s just making it as about as obvious as possible outside of like holding up a sign above Paul George’s head that says please come to Philly I mean he basically went on national television and was like uh basically gave a recruitment speech that was pretty great but you know it’s like I really could see Paul George going to Philadelphia the Clippers don’t really seem inclined to to give Paul George a Max and he really wants that Max and Philadelphia is a team that could give that to him um you know Paul George also I mean he’s a guy that’s not afraid to leave and you know he I’m sure would love to go back East where the the competition I mean really just got Boston and the Knicks right like I mean you know you can’t really ever count out Miami but we’ll see what they look like and you know maybe some crazy trade happens or something or if Donovan Mitchell you know if they end up trading Darius Garland right like there could be things but like right now just kind of as it stands no pun intended um you know you kind of look at the the Eastern Conference landscape and it’s like you just basically would have to get through Boston right Paul George Joel embi and tyres Maxi are all healthy like that’s a formidable Trio for sure and you know it’s no it’s no secret that the the Sixers want Paul George I mean that’s been basically every headline linked to the Sixers in Paul George the last like month month and a half whatever it’s been and you know Paul George makes a ton of sense uh in that spot um you know and just look players this is what players do right players tamper players you know they they shoot their shot they hang out they text each other it’s just that’s just how it is right dampering really only goes towards the actual organizations right like if you know if we saw a a interview with uh you know Daryl Mory and he’s like yeah some help and like you know nodding towards Paul George then you’d probably hear the NBA step in you’d probably hear something about like ah you know Paul George and Daryl Mor or Daryl M was fine for the Paul George comment right like but Joel and be doing that it’s just that’s what these guys do right like and Paul George look if he’s going to come he’s going to to come because he wants to be a sixer he looks at Joel embiid and Tyrese Maxi as a place or as a Duo that adding him to put him in the best position to win an NBA championship because he’s only getting older and he’s getting at the tail end of his career so I don’t necessarily think if Paul George were to go to Philadelphia it’s because Joel embiid and Paul George were hanging out I’m just I’m sure that this is like uh you know more of a confirmation for Paul George of like you know hey like Joel clearly wants me he he’s campaigning and and really trying to work hard to recruit recruit me like darl M I’m sure once free agency opens he’s going to talk to him I mean it’s clear that Philly wants him right it’s been no secret Philadelphia is going to chase a star Paul George is a star right I don’t think he’s the best player on a championship team but as essentially you’re third best player right I mean he’s better than Tyrese Maxi at this stage but you know I I who knows what Tyrese Maxi will be but Paul George is still one of the Premier 3 and D guys and just allaround Square he’s one of the best difficulty shot makers in the entire NBA Paul George is better than Tyrese Maxi now but Tyrese Maxi is a guy that can just go off and take over in stretches and at times again Paul George could essentially be your third best guy on any given night and the games where Paul George is struggling right cuz that’s a big concern concern is like the playoffs right I if Paul George does have that game where he struggles then you have Tyrese Maxi and Joel embiid you know ideally to to kind of offset that now there are the questions of obviously injuries right can Paul George stay healthy especially with Joel embiid he’s been very injury prone um and then Paul George and Ka or Paul George and Joel embiid the two of them are known to disappear in the playoffs right like and that’s been a problem now getting Paul George he’s had big playoff G he’s led a team uh in the Indiana Pacers right like he’s he’s been pretty much his whole career number one or number two guy and like even the Clippers like a lot of people point to Paul George I mean it’s been Kawai more than anything right kawhai can’t show up he he load manages all season long to still miss the playoffs and then it’s Paul George and a bunch of rooll guys and usually I know that they had James hard in this past but usually it’s Paul George and a bunch of rooll guys and he’s doing everything he can to kind of carry and and keep the team afloat right so where if he was in Philly and he could be healthy and he could stay on the basketball court then you know he would have Joel embi and Tyrese Maxi to kind of help offset some of the the the like playoff woses and things and it’s like collectively can they have that impact now there’s other teams that I think would be interested in Paul George uh you know Orlando is even a team that’s supposedly interested in him Oklahoma City Thunder I think would make a lot of sense for Paul George him heading back there right like there’s places that he could go that could make some sense but it to me it’s like Philly gives him kind of The Best of Both Worlds right cuz not all the teams can pay him a Max and not all teams are positioned to to necessarily win a championship where I think Philly gives you both Philly can give him the Max and give him a Max contract and on top of that gets to go to a team in Philly that would he’d be on a contending team I mean Paul George Joel embiid and uh uh Tyrese Maxi are enough for you to win an NBA championship now obviously you got to put other pieces and and depth and you know build a roster out around them so we’ll see how that works out but ideally you know those three alone are enough to you know get you to the playoffs and probably the second round or Conference Finals right so it’s just like you just need the roll guys and the complimentary pieces uh to put around those guys you know to where you can round out the roster enough but Paul George is still a an excellent player right and you know a lot like you hear the whole is Paul George underrated type thing and usually when people talk about players being underrated more times than not I actually think that that’s just non I just think it’s people are just saying it just to say it right the overrated underrated thing is is a lot of times I think overblown but in all honesty I think Paul George is one of those guys that’s underrated right I think a lot of people value him because he hasn’t won anything and you know he’s played alongside Kawai and stuff as like this guy that just like yeah he’s he’s a good player but you know almost like people compare him to like a almost like he’s looked at in the same scope is like a Chris Middleton or like a melber he’s a really good 3D guy he’s just he’s got no like Paul George is one of the better if and still arguably the best two-way guy in the league not saying the best player or you know top I’m talking about like two play defense and lock down the best player on the other team and still go get you 25 plus the guy he’s also one of the best again difficulty shot makers in the entire league and you need especially in the playoffs you need a guy that can just go get a bucket and shoot over the top and you know shot clock winding down you can throw the ball to him and he can go just kind of you know navigate his way to a bucket right like that goes a long way and I do and I think and Paul George he is a guy that is willing to kind of fit in and play a role right he is very unselfish in that regard where you know you see a lot of stars where it’s like they got to get their field goal attempts or they got to you know they got to be the highlight where I think Paul George is is one of those guys cuz again you would have Tyrese Maxi and Joel embiid and so I actually think Paul George is one of those guys that would slot in and I don’t think he would take away from Joel embiid and Tyrese Maxi I think he’d make things easier and and compliment them rather than you know if you get the wrong Star right it’s just like ah now it could be a problem where like you know even a a guy like like Luca for or like say Trey or something like that right like somebody that’s like high usage I think he takes away from Maxi I think he takes away from Joel andb right but Paul George his ability to play off ball he can play on ball again he could go and ISO and just go get you a bucket he can defend the best player on the other team right you you’d have that that ideal way I mean he’s still one of the Premier just perimeter to threes in this entire league so I do think Paul George on the Sixers makes the most sense I get why Joel embiid is recruiting him I mean Joel embiid I’m sure wants to win too you know how tired he probably is of just like every year being a first or second round exit you know but he has to do his part right he has to show up he has to be healthy he has to actually play the game at a high level you know regular season Joel and playoff Joel are two very different players right Joel embiid in the regular season is an MVP Joel embiid in the postseason at times is a role player and that’s a big that’s a big thing so Addam Paul George I think I think Philly would The Philadelphia 76ers want Paul George in free agency and Joel Embiid is publicly recruiting him. The Sixers adding George would make them tough and especially in a weak NBA Eastern Conference. Paul George seems willing to leave the Clippers and 76ers make a ton of sense.
