Sit the F Down – Stephen A goes crazy after Mavericks destroy Celtics 122-84 Game 4 NBA Finals

Boston I think winning is hard um I think winning any game is hard but uh winning game four with the NBA Finals is is pretty damn hard so no I think we uh I think they came out desperate and I think they punched Us in the mouth and and we couldn’t uh kind of recover the way we wanted to it’s a great opportunity to to respond uh give credit to Dallas they came out and they they um they play with force and they played great um so we just we regroup um we keep our same mentality um and we come out and get ready to um to fight in another battle on our home floor Boston’s still in control but they head into game five after posting arguably their worst offensive game of the season they scored a season low 84 points they had just 26 points in the paint that’s their second fewest in any game this year and that 38 Point loss the team’s worst in the Tatum Brown era more now with the NBA Countdown crew well gentlemen dominance was usually the word that we have used for the Boston Celtics this postseason the Mavericks were absolutely dominant in this game for Stephen A Smith Kendrick Perkins Paul George Michael wilbon I’m Malika Andrews Stephen A I’m going to start with you here we have not seen this version of the Dallas Mavericks All finals long how can they pack this up and extend this series even further well first of all Luka got to continue to do what he did tonight cuz he came out with his bag he was Ultra aggressive Kyrie Irving was the perfect sidekick in terms of getting to the basket making things happen knowing porzingis wasn’t in the lineup Boston was absolutely positively atrocious offensively the leading scorer was Jason Tatum he was a virtual no-show Jaylen Brown a virtual noshow along with everybody else even Tim Hardway Jr came off the bench I said Lord I’m looking for a three he hit five of them I said damn I mean this what I’m talking about because why that makes that g elevates his level of confidence puts Boston potentially on its heels Monday night you got an opportunity to lick your wounds look at this see what happens as players I mean if you have just been had your butt kicked like the Celtics just did I mean they really did my dad would call that a good oldfashioned butt whooping and he would use a different word how do you rebound from something like that PG you fight back uh I thought that’s what Dallas did they fought back they had moments throughout the game where I saw J kid did some things to kind of junk up the game sent some double teams early to Jaylen Brown when he crossed over half court something worked tonight Dallas found a rhythm and uh picked up the win you know what when it comes down to the Celtics I mean I’mma call it out Jason Tatum and jayen brown was on a different Mission than their team Mission and they played selfish basketball the energy is always good energy is always going to find the players the basketball is going to find good energy perk called it out before the game gay when he said Dallas was going to win this game the last person to win one with the Celtics knew what he was seeing this is my only problem with the Celtics in this postseason I got to see it I’m just not going to presume it this is not grade school you don’t give extra credit for homework done early let’s see it we didn’t see it again they throw a clunker in they’ve done this for four or five years Stephen A touched on it already yeah if LCA comes out and not just plays like this but ignores all the silliness that we saw him engage in in game three the Maverick should have done this in game three and what would we have now I don’t mean a 40-point win I don’t mean that yeah yeah but if they come out with that level of attention to detail and played that way in game three we’d have something different I combined minus 61 for brown and assists between the two of them they’re going to have to do a little better to get this one done we’ll see you all from Boston if the Edmonton Oilers needed any extra inspiration to avoid being swept by the Florida Panthers Saturday night I sure hope they were watching what the Dallas Mavericks did to the Boston Celtics sure different sport but the Oilers Boston
