The NBA WILL FEAR The SPURS Because of this DUO!

I’m very high on Stefan Castle the Spurs need to do everything in their power to draft him his style as a player and person fits them like a glove for instance he was a five-star recruit played point guard in high school was the guy every single possession and was ranked 12th in his class he went to Yukon accepted an off ball role behind veteran guards mainly originally got on the court because of his defense had no complaints no ego he completely bought into their team-friendly move the rock system where everybody eats didn’t complain once and only produced on both ends of the floor Dan Hurley’s reaction to him declaring for the draft was telling he stated no freshman impacted winning like this Champion his combination of talent work ethic and humility and great parents think about who the Spurs are as an organization their past Superstars it seems like Stefan Castle fits that build on and off the court in my opinion he should be number one on their big board he will Elevate the team immediately last year the Spurs had the 21st ranked defense which is kind of embarrassing when you have a rim protector like Victor wenyama who was the runner up for defensive player of the year the point of attack defense needs to be addressed so why not draft one of if not the best perimeter defenders in the NBA draft Jacob Douglas from ESP Nation wrote the defensive metrics backup cast was Effectiveness too Yukon had a 95.5 defensive rating with Castle on the floor compared to 101.5 when he was on the bench according to Synergy Castle was in the 94th percentile in points per possession allowed in the pick and roll and the 80th percentile in isolation defense one of the main reasons Yukon was unbeatable was because the defensive Duo castle and Donovan kingan they would eat teams alive because it’s hard enough to get past C but when you do you have to go up against a 72 rim protector with Castle trying to recover behind you what does that kind of remind you of oh yeah kind of lowkey a sneak peek of what castle and wemi would look like the thing is wemi is taller longer and quicker with his feet he can extend out to the perimeter more consistently than Donovan pick and roll heavy teams would be in trouble having to face castle and Victor all night long with that size and length in front of them it was truly one of the missing pieces for the Spurs on that end of the floor they needed a point of attack Defender who can disrupt the opposing teams goto point guard shooting guard or even small forward and depending on the matchup power forward on a nice and night basis Castle just has game wrecking potential as a Defender Victor has that as well you get those two together you’re pretty much signing yourself up for a top five to top 10 defense every single season at least one time they’re going to be the best defense in the league if we’re being real in their primes according to the sponsor of this Channel with the fourth pick Stefon Castle was plus 300 to be selected $25 to win 75 Count Me In now my lowrisk high reward bet is Donovan kinging plus 600 to the Wizards at two FIT wisey just makes sense for them they probably just go for potential but 25 to win 150 I can’t pass that up making account with the link below tail these Bets with me or make your own I appreciate it and it helps out the channel and me a ton new customers get 125% bonus on the first three deposits thank you the only reason you wouldn’t love Castle is for his shooting concerns which are very fair especially when the same question mark is around Jeremy soan but the thing is people hear Bad shooter and immediately jump to bad offensive player in bad fit alongside wmi besides that shooting aspect his fit with offensively is pretty good I heard Spurs fans crying all year long about Spurs players missing when be cutting rolling or in transition one of Stefan Castle’s biggest strengths as an offensive player is finding his teammates when the defense is in rotation scrambling or his team is running out in transition he was also a great entry passer at Yukon wbi open with Castle having the rock he’s going to make that pass very consistently and in in his limited opportunities as a pick and roll Handler he flashed the ability to make the read and make the defense pay by making the right play he’s what you call a connective piece even though he’s not a shooter he’s just a smart player he makes quick decisions when he has The Rock when he was the decision maker with the ball in his hands at Yukon consistently he was making the right play most of his buckets come from attacking the paint whether that’s settling for a mid-range jumper or flader or getting all the way to the rim the way he gets buckets reminds me of Jimmy Butler he has the same spots as Jimmy with the same types of movements and when he gets to his spots he’s playing at his own pace relying on pivots positioning and strength to get his shot off plus he has great handles for his size not flashy but he’s very effective with his dribbles and most importantly when he gets to his spots if he has to create contact with the defender you always notice the Defender feels his presence keep in mind these highlights are a 19-year-old he’s going up against seniors 4 years older than him at the time and of course that might not translate to the NBA right away but this dude is physically gifted He’s listed at 66 215 lbs but more importantly he knows how to use his body correctly and my goodness once he gets to 230 like Jimmy Butler my guy is going to be bullying lean Defenders around when he creates contact when he is in his prime I think he will be getting to the foul line at a very good rate once he learns the NBA game the fact that he does kind of have a reliable mid-range game going when he’s feeling it and also his best asset is finishing at The Rim that means more to me than shooting threes because to me shooting in the mid-range off the dribble off pivots and finishing through Defenders and contact fact is way tougher to develop than simply just catching and knocking down a three-point shot while just standing still he probably won’t ever be a pullup three threat at a rate where defenses are actually worried about it but not many players are if we are being real and most of those players who can pull up from three are usually huge defensive liabilities and the thing is just like Jimmy he thrives without the basketball he knows where to be he knows how to space the floor as a non-shooter the defense constantly loses him as a cutter whenb is going to attract double teams whether he’s a shooter or not and Castle is Elite at attacking Closeouts and advantages combo that with his ability to naturally make the quick passing decision when he’s a driver or in the pick and roll situation that’s a lethal combination pretty much the only thing missing in his offensive toolbox is spot up threes and off the dribble threes finishing around the rim is what he’s known known for and the mid-range is there he’s a twl scorer at 19 with a great feel for passing and oh by the way he’s one of the best defenders in the draft class I love these two sentences from Tyler metf he wrote an article about castle on NBA ceiling.com and he stated over the last two years we’ve seen Castle act as a defensive stopper an off ball scorer a primary facilitator and an on ball scorer Castle proving that he can thrive in all of these roles makes this translation to the NBA all the more encouraging that’s all I got let me know your thoughts below I think the Spurs should do whatever it takes to get him in the organization he just feels like a Spurs guy

  1. Yes, he seems like a great fit for the Spurs and I hope we are able to snag him. Is he really 6'6"? He looks kinda short out there.

  2. I’m high on Castle, but if Risacher drops to #4, the Spurs have to take him purely on skillset

  3. in my opinion he plays like a wing if I was a Spurs I will go for Carlton Carrington or Ron Holland even matas

  4. Can you imagine…
Castle at 4, then the SAS trade the 8th pick + 2 ATL 1st + Tre Jones + Keldon Johnson for Darius Garland
    Starting 5: Garland/Vassell/Castle/Sochan/Wemby
    Bench: Graham/Branham/Osman/Champagnie/Collins

Oh boy… as a Mavs fan I wouldnt like this szenario at all!

  5. Take Castle no matter what. Most like Manu Ginobili and Butler. Real team player. Move up to 5 from 8 if Zachary R is available at 4. Future draft picks with 8 should work for they could use Dalton K.

  6. Castle at 4. Salaun at 8. Dadiet at 35. Bronny at 48. LeBron joins in free agency summer of 2025. Championship in 2026. Book it.
