Sophomore season is gonna be crazy!

Special thanks from Eric Salinas on Twitter.

What’s one thing you want to see Wemby improve on this summer?

Strength, stamina, and his jump shot. Increased strength would allow him to finish at the basket easier and hold his position in the post better. He was getting pushed out of the post by smaller players a lot over the season.

Better stamina would help him play with more intensity longer; many times during the season he was clearly winded, as he had to adjust to playing as many games and minutes as he did this year at a high level.

And lastly his jump shot: if Victor were to even get a consistent mid range game it would up his offense sooo much. He struggled on catch and shoot 3s but was excellent on pull up 3s. I think a much more consistent jump shot would do wonders for his offense overall and efficiency. And obviously it would help the team a lot.

His catch-and-shoot three is easy points for him to cash in next season. He shot an abysmal percentage when he wasn’t in rhythm, which is a shame because opposing teams had a habit of leaving him open at the perimeter

If it was just 1 it would be better court awareness which should cutdown on the Turnovers.  Then I would say handles, the 3 and a Bank Shot.

He looks stronger than 2nd-yr Giannis ngl

    The league is cooked.

Yeah nah. He’s gonna fuck the league.

He’s going the same way as Giannis and nobody will be able to stop him and I might just came.

    Dude is fucking ripped man.

  6. Wait he’s back in SA and working out? I thought he’s joining France for the Olympics.

I’d like for him to simplify his scoring game. He’s a little too all over the place to be a consistent volume scorer right now, would love for him add some reliable moves that he can go when the Spurs need a bucket.

The best scorers in the NBA are the ones that easily find mismatches and abuse them with reliable moves to get a good look. I’d like him to start forcing switches onto weak defenders more, shooting over the 6’3 PG is worth just as many points as shooting over KD or Chet but it’s a lot easier to score.
