[Sidery] There’s buzz building around a potential draft slide for Rob Dillingham, who is unlikely to go in the top-10. Don’t be surprised if Dillingham slides to a solid situation for a contending team outside the lottery.

Klutch client. Dynamic three level scoring guard who very likely will fall into the Lakers range. Worth sharing here as it’s a real possibility he is one of a few targets at 17. Player comps: Lou Williams, Brandon Jennings, Kemba Walker, Malik Monk, Tyrese Maxey (high end)

Let him and JHS fight it out for a roster spot

Interesting – should we take best available talent or best fit? We already have to develop JHS to rebuild value. We should go wing/big

Buzz around a guy falling in the draft? That’s an oxymoronic sentence lol

  5. Lakers would be insane to not draft him if he fell to 17. But feels like 0 chance of that much of a fall

just watched some of his tape on youtube (aka some short highlight vids lol) but looks like he could be pretty decent. his iso game is pretty damn nice but didn’t see flashes of anything else. i don’t know what kind of role he could fill on the Lakers but he has a decent frame if he learned how to defend i wouldn’t mind having him on the roster but I don’t rlly see the point of us drafting another guard unless Rob really has a good feeling about him

  7. Can’t wait to get another guard that completely forgets how to shoot when he comes here!

Bullshit. Trying to bait someone to trade up to the 10-12 range. He won’t make it out of the lottery.

    The Lakers shouldn’t draft sliders.

Eh every year someone slides but I have a hard time seeing Rob falling past some of the teams 11-16.

I mean, if either Dillingham or Holland slide to our pick (or a realistic trade-up range) you kinda have to take them at that point. They would easily be BPA and they, arguably, are among the small selection of prospects this year that has some all-star upside if they hit their ceiling.
