cars are great in the mountains that’s what’s great about noticed that uh excited for today’s show excited to see the fellas showing lots of leg today cuz he’s wearing short shorts It’s R and vot they’re actually not short shorts but they are hiking up a little bit uh thankfully they’re bird dogs so you guys know we’re covered no underwear uh needed is what that means over here I got dine Co that’s yeah that’s actually I know meant to comfort us that detail but it it chills me into my core oh absolute core uh and the man with the wind in his hair Harrison wind definitely wearing underwear today I can confirm that’s your lost brother yeah I’m jealous hey I also got some bird dogs on let’s go um a lot of information two and two you guys saw uh at the top of the show we played the video emble over the weekend for the big race Harrison later on you know I want to get all the details of the race and yeah I just want but I there was a race and who is in town none other but bdon bogdanovich one of my favorite players and boban also in town which I find to be noteworthy interesting with um you know team Serbia probably starting their practices and training camp up pretty soon for the Olympics a little pre-olympic Summit in somore with you know some members of Serbia um look that was an awesome video to see over the weekend joic he’s in his element at the horse track in somore that’s where you know he’s most comfortable I’d say and um it’s always cool when some of his friends po through Aaron Gordon last summer LD donovich went there this weekend and hold on is somebody telling us that vasam meic was out there too I didn’t see anything with him but somebody is yeah getting the whole game together I mean you got almost three maybe four members of the starting five I think this is cool I mean look it this is the whole thing the Olympics aren’t too far away as you mentioned so you get this little Summit but even beyond that I just think it’s cool when yoke hosts people in somore because we’ve been there we know that it’s a little bit of a journey I just think it’s cool he did not host us Well he kind of did some people did we were there that’s a fair point he kind of yeah I mean that’s I mean it’s cool it’s cool like you just it’s cool in that you want uh yish to have a good life you know you want to to have friends and for people to hang out and them to come visit him you just want him to be rewarded for being such a good guy for us you I I love how when he has the friend at the track and one of his horses wins yeah I don’t know if you guys saw Amsterdam won that race could be um you know a nice upand cominging horse from the Dreamcatcher stable um every time one of his horses wins a race and he’s got a friend there he always gives the friend the trophy to hold up he’s such a me such a good guy he needs like I love that his people rally around him it’s amazing but I also feel like and I’m not accusing yic I guess I am accusing yic of something it does seem like he always wins at his track wow oh I mean who many people say that hor ring one of the leave Al leave it alone back away some stones are best unturned we’re just joking we’re just joking um in all sincerity you know this brought out in a lot of nuggets fans the like the clamoring for bogdon bogdanovich I don’t think it’s in the cards for nuggets fans it would probably require a main Big Time piece I don’t think you can just pull it off regularly um nonetheless I will say he’s high on my list of guys in large part because I do think there is something to yoke doesn’t seem to have it in him to demand players change like like he some guys are a little more vocal LeBron takes it I think too far where he almost is like too hard on that but a guy like bogdon I feel like just you know that’s a guy that they speak the same language I feel like there would be a natural chemistry and Synergy there but but that’s part of why I’m excited to see these two guys play together yeah absolutely I mean I’m sure if you just asked in like general terms do they want to play together at some point in their careers I’m sure the answer is yes in the NBA uh you know yok’s never the type to I think at least do it through the media yeah but it’s going to be fun man it’s going to be fun it is going to stoke some conversations in our chat for sure about even though you even though as you said it’s it’s unlikely I do think this is a guy people have had their eye on for some time uh but it’ll be fun to see how they play together and be fun to see how team Serbia can perform I I I think we’ve seen uh different versions of that roster since we started watching it I’m I’m excited to see the Full Throttle full team Serbia and what they can do on the big stage it’s funny how well we know this roster and actually so we made the headline of the show why joic playing for team Serbia is exciting and in addition to because you get to watch niik yic play which is the obvious answer the other one is this we we’ve been talking a lot about do the Nuggets need to blow it up change dramatically try to keep continuity and we’ve talked about the sense of do the Nuggets have the best starting five I think yol’s very versatile the team he has in Serbia is completely different from Denver’s team and that’s to me why I’m so excited for the Olympics and for him playing again not official official but we all think it’s going to happen I’m excited just to see him with a completely different cast if bogdon is the star of the team outside of Yol he’s not Jamal Murray he’s a different type of player you have vasam meic you have different guys I’m kind of excited for that cuz there might be something especially in this summer where we all feel a little unsettled there might be something where it’s like man the Nuggets need to do more of that that Serbia is doing that seems to be bringing something out of him uh yeah it’s I mean that’s what the Olympics are going to be cool in general it’s like this feels like the first time in a long time there’s a tournament where the entire world’s like okay yeah okay it’s like it’s on like I’m I’m super interested to see exactly how joic fits in because it is bizarre watching him operate within that Serbian like actual basketball team it’s like he doesn’t look like himself but he does look like himself like he um he’s not like the fulcrum of their offense like he ends up posting up a lot more he ends up shooting a different kind of shots so it’s just cool like it’s going to be cool to see um so yeah I’m stoked they got some star power on that team absolutely I mean you talk about meic bogdanovich and yic it’s kind of a big three in terms of like bogdanovich has been a really solid NBA player for a long time me is coming off a great second half of the season in Charlotte where he like showed that he can be a very capable point guard in the league so the team kind of flows through those three it feels like but you know like I feel like team Serbia it’s not just the you know meic yic Twan game like we see the Murray yic Twan game in Denver they played much different style like you said so it’s it’s really going to be cool to see him in just that time type of environment working off a different guys I actually to be honest I hope they do rely on him much more than they did last time he was underutilized I thought he didn’t play enough we’re seeing a lot of praise for coach pesich in the chat uh as opposed to what the nuggets have and I will say pesich Obviously a legend I thought there were maybe some rotation mistakes there last time watch I personally put it on his feet to be honest withous rotation Twitter is going to be out in full force during the Olympics page so I actually hope they lean on a little more I love I love how two-faced we are yoke was too tired this year wrote him too much that we’re in Serbia we’re like they should have played it more any bre lean on him yeah you know and and also I I can I hope and this is maybe a stretch but it’s hopeful joic probably would like some extended time off mentally from all of this but he does love the game of basketball and playing basketball in a different setting with different teammates for his country uh maybe it can just spark a little Joy uh he’s still going to have a lot on his shoulders a lot of responsibility but maybe it could just be fun to change things up a little bit be playing the game a little differently it also might spark the opposite though let’s be honest more likely that’s more because I’m with you there is something and we’ve talked to yic about this very thing one of the things he loves about the national team is those guys have deep roots with each other it goes back really far obviously playing for your country means something different but there is like as he puts it the entire team which is hilarious they’re all 7t tall they all hate hang out in one hotel room and like we’ll watch things together or whatever and I think there is something too that that you’re right maybe it we worry about yok’s mental health more than he worries about his own mental health but there is this level of like maybe this summer does a shot in the arm for him in a way that is kind of needed yeah I mean it’s kind of like a work vacation like he’s working and on vacation you get like a little time away but you’re still getting in shape I I mean that’s why I think it’s cool like his buddies are coming to hanging out with him it’s like yeah like maybe basketball can be fun for a little bit you know yeah versus cuz this is not his job he’s actually not getting paid for this this is decidedly not anyone’s job and the fact that he’s playing when he so famously referred to his time on an NBA roster as his job and it sucks nobody likes their job like I kind of like it I mean it’ll be fun for us and it’ll be fun to watch y the biggest piece for me though is just seeing them play a different style and from what from talking to Mira my main point of contact when it comes to like the roster and different things and I don’t want to put words in his mouth so maybe he’ll correct me on this but bogdon bogdanovich kind of a leader of the team yeah like he’s been a Mainstay when healthy he plays and he’s regarded as the greatest current Serbian basketball player is he their Captain this year chat maybe but nonetheless you know look for all the things we love about yoke he is a younger brother in terms of leader he just doesn’t do that stuff and bdon seems to be different than that that he does kind of like lead the team and I’m just interested in that dynamic different Dynamic than him and Murray and I just all these exp I honestly believe that variety of experience is so important for players and this is another chance at a completely different experience for him can I say something about a bonovich trade real quick let me hear it so did you put one together I did put one together in my fake trades article that I dropped a couple weeks ago um it would be a trade that I think only happens if kcp leaves if kcp leaves and they slip under the a and they can aggregate salaries together but you could do the trade with like Zeke naagi Reggie Jackson a first round pick and then a hunter Tyson for bogdanovich I mean you do that in a heartbeat right bogdanovich he only makes 17 million a year it’s not like he’s making 20 plus million um and I I feel like the Hawks would want some picks and maybe like a hunter Tyson type of Prospect and it feels like bogdanovich is kind of on the outs in Atlanta but it’s not a trade if you know they’re under the apron that have to give up a Michael Porter in I feel like it’s a trade where you could combine a bunch of people together to do it but again you have to be under the second apron to do that um I would almost welcome that like to me I would almost welcome that over even the kcp option I know that’s kind of crazy to say but part of why I say that is he is on a descending contract he he’s on a contract that is very tradable very tradable but he’s also a good player it fits the timeline I do think there’s something to giving joic another ball handler that’s very important something that kcp is not necessarily bogdon would be a little bit more of that he’s obviously not the defensive player and so that that that is a major piece of this but I do like the fact that two years from now he’s making 16 million and then there’s an option on that last year for him a team option by the way in that last year which is just the ultimate flexibility for 16 a trade for bonovich does work for Just For example Zeke Reggie Jackson Hunter Tyson and a first round pick all right that works what happens this summer then if kcp leaves of course they win a gold medal bogdon and yoke look like Murray and yoke out there on the court it’s just as like oh my God these two guys together is Magic does this become even more of a conversation 100,000% yeah and I’m I’m buckled up for it for sure 100% And I mean look it’s it’s a it’s a much more fun version to me of the kind of roster swapping thing because there’s there is some sort of like uh soul to it to the idea like it’s it’s about like Vibes and culture and uh keeping yoke happy as opposed to just kind of shuffling the pieces and playing musical chairs constantly so it’s it’s fun to think about but it’ll heat up this summer for sure I the more likely option you know how this goes dine they’re going to be okay yep but it’ll be the Nuggets fans are going to be like unbelievable unsto they’re going to beat San by 30 y will have 18 assists just to bdon and they’re like got to get him what he just did yic and bogdanovich are a problem they’re a problem a problem for South Sudan shoot like a lower percentage from three than Porter do like do we have any visibility into the Mavs fan base when Vaca was heing up next to Luka last time like were they I don’t know you’re right I we didn’t hear a whole lot of that but maybe we should have who knows yeah anyway I’m excited for yoke in theill I’m starting to get super excited for it’s only a month and a half away but and the friendlies will come even before that less than a month I believe for the first friendly so I’m excited for it but more than anything I’m excited for that Dynamic yoke getting to play in a different role on a different team and just seeing what it looks like can’t wait for it U all right let’s take a break on the other side what that tells you is that the way that humans work is that the team that’s way up feels like going to coast and then then they they get beat and they’re like well [ __ ] this is over yeah that’s exactly it the 3 the three Z comeback will happen eventually it will happen that’s what I’ve been saying like a 16 beat to one seat it will happen eventually right well I’m just saying Derek Lively doesn’t look so good until porzingis isn’t there then he looks dominant I’m just saying there’s reason to buy some Dall stock it’s I I I it’s not going to happen in this one I Boston in six so I wouldn’t be surprised well there you go I will say this this is the easiest game on the schedule for the rest of the year for the Boston Celtics tonight game six would be way harder and then a game seven come on SO n it’s no big deal if they lose tonight that’s what I keep walking in uh Tyler kic or kic KCK KCK that babies get col right Tyler kic kic but still the name isn’t the best yeah not a great name like Tyler gingivitis you know it remind you of that and I feel like he plays very similar to his name I don’t know exactly what that means but it makes sense I do agree with this uh Tyler K baby so tiny out there he is a point guard out of Marquette a senior 23 years old 6’2 6′ 3 depending on where you look and and he is 6′ one is what I saw oh that’s that’s without that’s without shoes that’s his combine meas yeah that’s the classic without shoes measurements yeah we got to get on the same page t on an inch an inch and a half to that he is a very accomplished point guard uh consensus second team All-American this last season um NCAA season assist leader this season Big East Player of the Year in 2023 two-time First Team all Big East in these last two years and I mean he was one of the better point guards in all college basketball last year coming off a year where he averaged 15 points per game 7.7 assists five rebounds just under 50% shooting from the field 39% shooting from three 85% from the line as well and the way I would describe him just as a high level he is your classic floor General at point guard great passer great at setting others up got a little offensive juice to his game as well but I think in the NBA he’s going to be primarily a table setter right somebody who creates great looks for others can get into the defense a little bit and finish when he has to but he is a guy who’s going to be like your fourth fifth option on offense and his primary role is going to be getting open shots for other guys I think I do think he’s uh a bit more Innovative than maybe the described archetype kind of sounds you know so it’s not it’s not like a Monte Morris I think he’s a bit more at least at the college level he was he was much more of a creative playmaker I think um he had some sauce too his game oh he has sauce I think he’s very good in the pick and role he carved up Colorado in the NCW tournament was was this the guy that looked exactly like uh gesp he’s he’s a and he got this weird YMC layup package too that’s really fun and again getting to the rim and finishing that way at the NBA is much different as a below the rim player but yeah a little bit of juice so look he’s not going to be he’s not going to have like a total green light to get creative or be a star or anything at the next level but he can make plays out of the pick and roll and he can make offense happen um right now mocked in the 20s there’s a lot of noise out there that he’s going tell you how the draft is that tells you exactly how the draft is if he’s moed there well there’s a lot of rumors that the Suns have this guy targeted and if you’re Phoenix you could probably talk yourself into him as just first of all a point guard which they don’t have any of those sign Colin Gillespie don’t waste a draft pick you know put him next to a Kevin Durant a Devon Booker guys who are high usage offensive guys and he might be able to get them good looks so what do you think here D you saw we saw this guy we were watching him together yeah I I remember being impressed by him but like really I mean I keep saying it like really taken by the similarity to the way that he looked to Colin Gillespie this the style of play like it’s the same body body same kind he same kind of Jumper same kind of I mean he definitely had that floor General thing going um I can’t I mean I don’t know though like to me it’s like if you want that style player just keep calling Gillespie like yeah like I don’t I to me it’s like I don’t really understand it’s like if that style player didn’t work for you with Colin how would it work for you with Tyler cuz he’s the same height you know as Colin he was like a little guy man so it seems a little weird he does have the sauce and I will say but when you were talking about the reason I was laughing isn’t because you right he did have a little like Fu Edge to it but so did Christian Brown and it makes you think I think there’s something to when you’re a multi-year guy you grow into getting to be that and then you go into the NBA as a 61 point guard and you’re like I better be quiet and not be start over in your Alpha but he might need to be you know that guy at the NBA level yeah I mean he definitely seemed like a guy who hated to lose and was very confident in big moments God this guy’s playing so many minutes I I look I’m just going to say it like I have him down as a Malone guy for sure so that’s but there already are options there right like look it seems like GES is probably out the out the door but um definitely definitely out the door so then it like but there is then a drafting him when you already have pick it you’re you have to choose one of the other I mean these are two guys that I think are most effective with the ball in their hands uh so I don’t know if it’s there there’s again more positional redundancy there now I’m not trying I’m not committed to pick it by any means he’s just already there and already under contract so it’s just something to consider of like how does he fit into the pipeline and the depth chart and how do the guy you know maybe a bit of redundancy in terms of archetypes he’s kind of similar to picket in terms of I think his best skill is going to be creating open looks for others that’s why when you guys were saying floor General yes he’s like Colin and that he is a short white guy kind of looks like him and and that they kind of both play this like Fast style whereas pickets a more of a slow style Piet is a floor General and in college that’s what he did he was a floor General like one of the top floor generals and it more with speed and picket does it more with kind of just bully ball booty they’re both their top skills are relatively the same thing yeah yeah that’s so it’s interesting like I it is it it just does put you in another position where it’s like okay like I don’t see a meaningful upgrade one way or the other it’s just like a half dozen one you know whatever of the other so to me it’s like I I wouldn’t this pick would be confounding to me if they made this if the Nuggets came through with be for me too I would rather stick with picket and honestly to me kic I feel like he’s got a lot of bus potential in terms of he’s being mocked as a first round guy I feel like in a normal draft or a good draft he’d be Surefire second round guy and to take this guy in the 20s the bus potential is really high and just in terms of smaller not athletic point guard yeah a couple of those guys have panned out but historically speaking guys who look like him and play like him there’s not a huge hit rate in my opinion so why I mean does it let’s talk about the Phoenix part of this because it’s may be more interesting it sounds like a wild opinion to say that that’s your guy if you’re Phoenix well I feel like it makes a little sense just in terms of he’s a pure point guard who you know they can get in the draft on a rookie deal honestly taking a page out of Calvin boot’s book in the second apron era that we’re in and a guy you can have on your roster for a few years in develop and you know he’s gonna be a guy who knows his role who kind of fits in with the high usage offensive guys that they have yeah like I feel like you could talk yourselves into a player of his style if you’re Phoenix it’s tough though cuz they need a starting point guard and he’s clearly not going to be that but if you’re saying like they find a way to get Chris Paul back and then you have a guy that is there to be they have like more long-term view involved but I mean they can’t draft him to fill a hole there’s no way yeah and also as great as you are as a college floor general floor General in Kevin Durant sounds like one of the hardest jobs there is in all of it you know what I mean like Kevin Durant’s going to get some rookie coming in 6′ one he’s like oh tell me what to do man where do you want me oh I’m I’m in the way Stephan Draymond could barely do it yeah he still calling ISO so yeah so I don’t know I don’t see this becoming a pick either the biggest thing is Michael Malone might like a guy like this to be honest he he might even see a little of himself in this guy tell me he didn’t say that and we didn’t say that about Colin gaspie he sees a lot of Colin gesp got him no playing time made no appreciable difference on the roster I I think Calvin boo will never draft a Colin Gillespie again so I don’t I just never drafted him in the first place that’s right that’s right but I don’t expect him to bring in I just would be shocked if Denver drafted a point guard I just think that I would be a little shocked to be honest with you if they brought in a point guard Allah Chris Dunn I would like it maybe that creates the competition but it would have to be a booth guy I just don’t see them bringing in a guy that is not like a Surefire upgrade over a picket and whether you’re high on colock or not he’s not sure fire he’s still a draft pick in the 20s I just don’t see Calvin boo doing that a point guard at 28 would be very surprising to me if they took one at 56 I mean maybe sure just cuz that’s like a real half court heave you can give it a two-way or something yeah you can put him on a two-way but just knowing how much the front office believes in picket it’s really tough to see them drafting a point guard that high it’s so funny that picket is a guy that we have talked about several times on this show as you can’t draft that guy you have this other guy we’ve never seen and don’t know anything about well it’s just more that we know the front office believes in him and then they gave him a contract already so that’s the other thing yeah they gave him a contract and we have we shouldn’t have seen him yet like this is now where we start should start to see him like this is the like if you give up on him before you even get into that second year where players mature and like they really take that leap they show you if they’re going to be be a player in this league that always happens in the second year like rarely in the first right by the way pickets owed $3 million it’s not like the craziest amount of money total over the next several years that would change my life in ways that I can’t even describe no I’m just saying like this idea of like they gave him a contract it’s like I mean it’s nothing well I mean you could have had kab Bates Dion you know you could have had him instead he probably you know what you probably still trade him for p to be honest with you I think that’s a fair trade could have been life changing uh all right let’s take a break on the other side I have a different point guard that I want to ask about and it’s would you if you could no trade Jamal Murray for Steph Curry Murray for curry Murray for curry could you do the old trade and just say if Golden State’s like damn it and everybody we’re we’re we’re done here we’re over we’re rebuilding yes I would do that Steph Curry’s old I would do it that would get you a title guaranteed it’s a guaranteed title you put yoke and and step together guaranteed title I think you’re probably right there’s not a million cadrillion billion years or any timeline in which the Warriors would do this I I know but there’s a thought the the thought experiment is less about the logistics of it all of roster Envy is this and also by the way I disagree that there’s not a million bajillion years right now is not is not that moment but they every team has to get to a point where it’s like are we just going to ride this out and let him do a fiveyear farewell tour or do we start over I keep bringing this up like I swear to God need to trade Steph Curry I if they did it to us it’ be incredible it’s it seems like Unthinkable to people they are just in they have nothing going nothing you just can’t trade the greatest player in franchise hist why if he ask for it if he asks for it sure that’s but they could work with him on it like Tom Brady left the Patriot like they could you can do [ __ ] like this it’s we’re the buers they didn’t trade him I’m saying like if he doesn’t they didn’t res like you got to say like you got to you could demand a trade honestly this is more the scenario there we go that makes sense should just get they should come to the table and just have a very honest conversation like listen like Draymond is not Draymond play probably won’t even be on the team next year correct Draymond might not like we are we have gotten to a place where I mean what is the most exciting piece for the Golden State Warriors currently Steph Curry and uh what’s that what’s that other guy that looks like psky yeah psky is their next most exciting player kaminga Moses Moody but it’s not that exciting I mean they have they have nothing and I mean those guys are they you’re right they what were they the 10th seed this year they were I mean they won’t but if they were smart if they would really look themselves in the face like they would that is their only big asset that they still have Steph Curry they need to get something for him now otherwise they’re just it’s going to be the Denver Broncos I we’ve seen this happen before they’re going to get stuck into an into a muck andm you’re right it it’s like the Denver Broncos in a lot of ways and here’s the here’s the thing about it cuz I’m with you that you don’t just do this from the hip like a normal team we set the reset this is a very important player the question is could he would he ever ask out and the scenario for that is more this summer they do an overhaul and they bring in some guys and it just goes belly up to where it’s like no longer Draymond and it’s no longer Steph it’s oh we made the trade for Paul George and Paul George got hurt and he’s out now Steph’s wasting another year it’s that it’s you you actually did trade the soul in it didn’t work and he’s looking there like hey man I don’t have that much left they don’t have enough to even like if they sold the farm load up enough like if they if you’re saying they sold everything else kept sta to make one last push they do not have enough it is over do you think we could get sarch is a throw in that yes all right cool that’s the one that makes a difference little throw you know it would take a lot more like if I’m this the Warriors you obviously no it’s more than Murray it’s Murray well it would be it’s it’s Murray it’s maybe a draft pick and it’s some of our young players that we you know it is Hunter Tyson it is Julian St um but like if if the Nuggets had the opportunity to do that I mean you don’t know what a window looks like for a team you really have to go all in if you’re able to and like it’s I I feel like Murray is a superstar in many respects but as far as a replaceable Superstar he’s probably kind of in that area like he he his he has great innate skill but it is bolstered so much by playing with Nik yic and there’s a lot of guys like I mean if you could ever get a Donovan Mitchell that probably is equally insane but like there are guys that you don’t know they’re as good as they are like a Jaylen Brunson like there’s guys if you could pair them with yic you’d be like holy [ __ ] like look could bogdon bogon let’s just go there like you know like so I don’t know we’ll find out this summer I think I’m just saying hly like if bdon bogdanovich looks like you want but you want to talk about the Perfect Two pairing of players joic and Curry would re holy Hellfire on this league also is it the vibiest team ever I think Steph’s one of the great leaders of the last 20 years every teammate would like take a bullet for him yoke I think has a similar thing that to me would be the ultimate oh my God you’re on that team and then here’s the other piece of it that I think would be great for yoke we’ve never seen him with somebody that moves that much and maybe that’s the Michael Malone system maybe it’s Jamaal Murray’s conditioning or will to do those types of things but Steph off ball is almost as exciting as that pick and roll in two-man game would be it’s just man giving that much gravity while yoke gets to put pressure on with the ball in his hands would be basketball Bliss I actually think a yic curry team oh man would probably be the most po team even with the war it would rival the Warriors as the most popular team of the last 20 years oh my God the only thing holding it back would be the word Denver on the front of the so you didn’t have much to say about this not not a big topic for you wind well it’s theal easy theoretical trade to make like Steph Curry and Nicole yoke which would be absolutely ridiculous Unstoppable you know especially in a playoff environment I mean forget about the regular season um like even in the playoff just with those two and how much they bend the defense it’ be absolutely ridiculous it’d be absolutely ridiculous there is another part of me and I know this is totally theoretical but there is another part of me that you know I still want to give this core another run in the playoffs I still want to run it back unless you can get Steph Curry he’s also so likable is the other thing like what if we could get KD I’m like don’t touch my nuggets even if that trade was on the table right now yes you probably do it you probably do it’s an easy trade to make but even if it’s still on the table there is a part of me that wants to run it back with this team and go for it again with Murray and joic part of me wants them to just have another shot because I really do believe that what we saw in the playoffs this year was just it wasn’t them you know Jamal Murray wasn’t Jamal Murray and therefore the Nuggets weren’t the nugg nugets I want to give this core the opportunity a chance to go for another one and so part of me while yes it’s an easy trait to make it’s a no-brainer part of me would hurt for that because I I do want to see this core go for it again I really do of course yeah unless unless Curry’s available um all right let’s get into some other roster Envy here so Steph Curry is obviously a big one and like I said the reason I like this segment doing this roster Envy is I just think that the NBA is unpredict the nuggets are finally in a spot where if you told me over the next two years is there some big move like it wouldn’t surprise me whereas previously it would surprise me if the Nuggets moved on from Jamal or Michael Porter or Aaron Gordon it would surprise me in the next year and a half it would not surprise me and we’ll just see how it plays out Klay Thompson I think he’s probably washed up he is unfortunately and I think but but he’s in the wased up well I’m just saying well he’s he’s not he’s washed from the first wave to the second wave of player he’s not that good I honestly he was a very frustrating I watched a lot of the Warriors this year he was a frustrating player because for one he does take some wild boy he has he doesn’t scale down and he’s in the zone where I think he’s going to get paid a little bit more than what he has recently done and that’s always the toughest spot is that one more team’s going to be like he might not be fully washed though and it’s like he probably is though the thing about Clay is yeah he’s not going to change his style of play so like if he loses even just you know a a tiny bit off the jumper all of a sudden the same same guy that took them over the top can very quickly become an anchor because he’s taking these wild shots and if he’s not hitting enough of them it is a hard play style to sort of defend you know it’s all worth it when he’s Pete clay I mean he was unbelievable but as as he age it does get a little uh It’s Not So Graceful I think at the moment so I agree um Jonathan kaminga I think would actually be a very interesting Aaron Gordon replacement should that ever happen years down the line that’s the role that I think he should settle into honestly in the NBA and he’s one of the rare guys that I think would be a good example of this by the way did you know that Aaron Gordon was asked who’s the next Aaron Gordon and his answer was Scotty Barnes I thought that was very interesting that’s cool a guy that’s going to be a star for a handful of years until he Segways into being a high player because they were both drafted super high both kind of the faces of the first franchise that they were on the great comp and the stuff that they’re good at is not star stuff but they’re really good at it and so you know you kind of mix it up kaminga is that guy I think that’s one that’s more probably again years away or something kaminga is weird cuz he’s gone from like we knew about him a lot early on because of his hilarious nickname and then he what was it again I forgot uh I think it was the Ming bucket no that’s not right oh oh goodness no that does the the the C and go oh yeah something like that uh the [ __ ] bucket uh we love him and so we knew about him early on cuz that was impossible to ignore and then he was very invisible um for a long time in as far as the league is concerned he was also the front man for the two timeline approach the warrior there pton Watson yeah and then he got like some burn this year and everyone was really mad that he didn’t get back in when the Nuggets beat him that game um but like I don’t know if he’s good man I don’t know if kaminga is that good like oh I I actually think he’s for sure good the question is is is he willing to become an Aaron Gordon and I think the answer is no but Aaron Gordon probably wasn’t in year three either it’s like sometimes you have to f also I’m telling you man where you land is it plays such a big part it totally does and a lot of this is on you as an individual but where you land plays a big part he landed on the greatest team of the last 15 years and then he had then they fell off a cliff and he’s just had a very weird career I think he’s a guy that’s going to have to get traded somewhere and fail before he accepts his Aaron Gordon Destiny or not and then he’ll be there’s plenty of players that never accept that Destiny Chris Paul we’ve talked about it here’s the thing about Chris Paul I feel like he has cursed to lose some guys that I just feel will never win dude he is an a front to the basketball guys also he’s bad vibes terrible Vibes that’s the point dude he’s kind of like a locker room cancer it feels like it is funny because you’re right yoke especially around young dudes dude he’s in his Chris from State Farm portion of his career I mean his OKC tenure went really well but that’s a great point so that’s that’s just my counter but he is maybe a guy who would come in to where there’s kind of an established hierarchy and then like he’s just just calling the huddles and every man Michael Malone would probably love him too I mean the closing line of vote is going to be Chris Paul Jamal Murray Aaron Gordon ncole yic and kcp that’s the closing lineup I know why in God’s name did the Golden State Warriors acquire Chris Paul they actually cursed themselves well they needed to get off Jordan pool is why they acquired but like why would they and Chris Paul was the only guy making that much money who another team would have traded for Jordan P fair enough fair enough probably the only deal out there for p we’ve talked a lot about Looney and sarch so I’ll skip them but they’re both guys that I like and would not mind if they were nuggets sarch is a guy who I would expect the Nuggets to have some interest in if he’s available for pretty cheap his last name ends in I Ed yeah I I would think the Nuggets will be interested in sarch uh and then Gary Payton is my other guy I don’t know that he fits onto Denver’s current roster if you were to lose some of your defensive backourt depth and because you added an offensive backourt player then I would like him cuz he’s actually one of my favorite on ball def ERS and perimeter Defenders but you can’t give him Christian Brown and pton Watson like he’s he is those guys at the point guard spot point of attack guys so you need some spacing around him but I really like him let’s go to Sacramento Trace Jackson Davis is I was going to say that as well yeah tra oh yeah they won’t give him you’re right though what what is the point Dre Jackson Davis is an interesting guy he’s their he’s their piece though like that’s maybe yeah you know he’s awesome I like him a lot yeah he is awesome actually uh dearen Fox if we go to Sacramento now we’ve talked about this one a little bit briefly too but the whole like fox versus Murray who’s the better player definitely was Murray up until this last year I feel like it’s kind of flipped now but he’s an interesting guy here’s my prediction here’s my hard prediction there are three teams that I think make the most changes or I’m sorry two teams that I really think make the most changes this off season no three Pelicans Sacramento and Houston are the three teams that I would not be surprised if they make moves now I don’t think it’s Daren Fox I think he’s the Cornerstone but we can at least talk about them cuz if they make a trade and it goes Belly Up Fox is there I love Fox’s game he’s grown on me maybe more so than most players he’s a guy that I was like unsure about and I really love him he’s hyper competitive I love those types here’s a question for you guys what do you think of Chris overpaid Bruce Brown uh I well the most sicko thought I’ve ever had is that their playoffs last season uh two seasons ago now I guess I should say um Trey ly looked pretty good yeah I know I kind of thought he did but I’ll leave that one there uh Kevin herder is a guy that I’ve long thought would be a good nugget doesn’t really fit what they have going on right now but he’s a guy that I think if you gave with yic the thing I like about herder is the same with Steph he’s a great offb mover that’s the difference between the offense of the Kings running the offense that the Nuggets run obviously Personnel but I’m saying they ran their fball movement a lot more than Denver ever did they use him differently than we use Michael Porter but I like it vov demanded a trade recently he which is always hilarious when a guy demands a TR it’s like if Zeke najarian bucket dude yeah this is like when um a fun demanded a trade for four years a row in Philly and never got traded daram W was just I’d love to see him on with yic because I think he’d be incredible did we mention sabonis could you what would you do with him why not put him next to yic the same way that I mean yic once said he together on top of each other but guys that can help out in a pinch guys that kind of change your lineup versatility and like so he’s a guy that you know you could kind of put into a couple different lineups I think is eron Gordon chunk are Eric Gordon chunky or is he he’s chunky yeah or does he just have the he’s just Stout that’s what I mean some guys just have that where it’s like he’s yeah Squad I know David Rody has been available in trades the last couple years he hasn’t been a good NBA player he hasn’t been good but I still think there could be a little something there yeah I mean like listen like that’s a guy that I was very excited about he was cool to watch he like completely re uh invigorated a program right I mean he’s he’s an interesting PJ Tucker type he’s a good guy also he’s like that would be a good guy to bring into your world you can’t trade for a young player if you have all these young players without giving up a young player like def can’t their plan is to get Rody draft a player and up move up all these guys you can’t have that many but Rody is he’s 23 I thought he might have been a little older so he’s still relatively young would be on the show man
