5 players the Timberwolves could target with the mid-level exception

Which of these players would help The Timberwolves the most next season?

  1. I’m so confused. We’re a 2nd apron team. How do we have the tax mle? Pretty sure Dane, Jon k etc have said all we have is vet min

  2. I’ve been wanting Kris Dunn on this team for the past two years. Doesn’t solve the shot creator problem, but a more reliable ball handler than NAW that can seriously defend the perimeter. Shot the ball at an average clip from deep last year – 37% on the highest 3PAr of his career. I think he would be a great piece in a more switch-heavy defensive lineup

I’d say at least 3 of those mentioned won’t get more then LM deals. Most helpful for the Wolves probably Din, then Dunn. Din I think is the only one who gets more then a LM deal. Other 4 I believe played on LM deals and really didn’t increase there value, so likely they stay there.

    Just going off the article….

Imagine we lose monte morris and McLaughlin and have Conley and Pat Bev has our 1 and 2 point guards while teams like the Celtics have guys like Derrick White, Jhrue Hokiday and Payton Pritchard at point while having Tatum, Brown and Porzingis all scoring above them and sometimes we don’t understand why our offense is lacking and could never beat the Celtics currently in a 7-game series?
